Khinshtein Alexander Evseevich: journalist and politician

Origins

Khinshtein Alexander Evseevich was born into an intelligent Moscow family of engineers. His father, Yevsey Abramovich, and mother, Inna Abramovna, probably raised their son worthy of the memory of his grandfather, who died heroically in 1943, defending the country from the invasion of German invaders. But maybe they weren’t brought up that way; they turned out to be too contradictory a person. In 1991, Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein successfully graduated from Moscow high school, and in 1996 he entered the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. Later he strengthened his education by graduating from Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (2007). He first worked as a freelance correspondent for Moskovsky Komsomolets, starting in 1991, and a year later Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein was on the staff of this newspaper. After a short time, he moved from correspondent to columnist under the editor-in-chief due to many scandalous investigations that he conducted as a journalist. On these grounds, Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein, whose biography was constantly built on scandals and revelations, was persecuted many times, but the cases of high-ranking officials he investigated did not go unpunished. Cases were initiated, including criminal ones.

He had been collecting incriminating evidence since his days working in various newspapers, and starting in 1991, Moskovsky Komsomolets opened for him the widest information field for investigative journalism. In 1994, a huge article was published about Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky, which featured little-known facts, including stories from people who knew the leader of the LDPR from his student years. This was the first truly significant work of the aspiring journalist. With her, Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein received the position of columnist. In addition, the authorship of numerous reports about national patriots brought him numerous responses of completely different emotional content. At this time, a huge number of his notes, interviews, and articles were published, but real fame was brought by the transcript that thundered throughout the country in 1996 of an overheard conversation between Chubais, Ilyushin and Zverev about a box of copier paper stuffed with dollars.

Early years. Education

Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein was born on October 26, 1974 in Moscow, in the family of engineers Evsey Abramovich and Inna Abramovna Khinshtein (maiden name Regirer). His maternal grandfather was a front-line hero who died in 1943 in battles near the Ukrainian village of Vodyakhovka.

Alexander Khinshtein was born in Moscow

In 1991, after graduating from secondary school No. 193, he became an unofficial employee of Moskovsky Komsomolets. In the first months of his work, he was almost fired because of a note about an allegedly upcoming erotic exhibition in one of the Moscow museums, which he wrote according to a Playboy journalist.

After graduating from high school, Alexander became an unofficial employee of Moskovsky Komsomolets

A year later, Alexander was officially hired as an editor. The first significant material in Khinshtein’s journalistic career was an essay published in 1994 about Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party.

A dark horse

And now it is quite difficult to obtain information about many aspects of the activities of such a person as Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein, whose biography has been fairly cleaned up in the information field. The article on the Kompromat website has been demolished. The biography is full of “white spots”. But something still remained. For example, the events of May 1999, when the traffic police detained Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein. Where is this case of forged documents closed by the prosecutor's office now? And if it were only a driver's license. The Ford Escort, driven by the future deputy and adviser to the Russian National Guard, violated the rules. To check the documents, he presented a coupon about untouchability with the right not to be subjected to police checks, then the service ID of the captain of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, Alexander Evgenievich Matveev. The roadside check was not satisfied, and the car was subjected to a thorough search, where various documents were found.

Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein, a deputy and adviser in the near future, for some reason even then introduced himself as a consultant to the head of the apparatus of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, press secretary of the customs department, assistant to the deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma, and so on and so forth. The documents contained completely different surnames, first names and patronymics. And until now, “the man and the steamship” have not clearly explained their origin in his car. Cover documents, maybe? It’s not for nothing that “The X-Files” was shown on TVC. A criminal case, however, was immediately opened, since the fact of the use of forged documents was obvious. He was soon released home after being given a written undertaking not to leave. The case was transferred to the prosecutor's office and disappeared.

"Secret materials"

State Duma deputy Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein also became famous as a television presenter. Since 1999, he has been an author and independently hosted an information and journalistic program on the TVC “The X-Files.” Apparently, unsafe events were being investigated, because already in 2000, employees of the Investigative Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs made attempts to force a psychiatric examination, for which Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein, whose personal life was now constantly in danger, was almost taken to the city of Vladimir for this purpose . But a criminal case was again brought against him. This time it's just about falsifying a driver's license. However, after a short time it was closed too.

Khinshtein himself does not say that the fake documents were planted on him by ill-wishers, since he himself introduced himself as an investigator of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department and other non-existent persons. However, they were repeatedly told that all criminal prosecutions were being carried out in retaliation by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for its critical publications. Moreover, this became like the truth when one of his “persecutors,” Lieutenant General and Assistant Minister of Internal Affairs Orlov, was put on the wanted list. However, the investigation shows otherwise. A MUR employee certificate in a different name was issued to Khinshtein for positive publications about the customs department. Where is the revenge here? However, in 2000, that is, at the same time, the case of using forged documents was dropped. No crime was found in the actions that the journalist committed.

The wife of journalist Alexander Khinshtein was beaten and robbed in an attempt to steal her Mercedes sports car.

The wife of the author of scandalous publications, Alexander Khinshtein, became a victim of robbers last weekend. On Saturday night, 20-year-old 4th-year student of the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University, Yulia Fedotova, arrived at a gas station located on Savvinskaya Embankment.

As soon as the girl got out of the car, two unknown men ran up to her with a metal rod. The criminals immediately removed the gold bracelet, watch and earrings from the victim.

The main target of the raiders was Fedotova’s expensive Mercedes-SLK-320 sports car. However, the bandits did not know that the foreign car was equipped with a Black Bug alarm system, which provided complete electronic protection for the car. Thanks to this system, the machine identifies the owner using an electronic card, and the girl quietly hides it in her pocket.

After several unsuccessful attempts to move away, the robbers began to demand that Fedotova confess how to start the car, but she said that she did not know. Enraged, the criminals began to hit the victim in the face, the Evening Moscow agency reports.

Meanwhile, a gas station employee, noticing what was happening, called the police. As soon as Khamovniki police officers appeared, the robbers tried to escape. The police still managed to catch and neutralize them.

The investigation suggests that the 31-year-old detainees - Beslan Toldiyev and Khamatkhan Bulgshuchev - have more than one such raid. The police ask the victims to call the Moscow phone number 245-01-04.

Khinshtein himself became a victim of hijackers two years ago

The Moskovsky Komsomolets columnist Alexander Khinshtein himself had his car stolen by criminals two years ago. This happened on August 18, 2001 in the time interval from 0:30 to 9:00. The journalist's Audi A6 disappeared without a trace from Stroginsky Boulevard. The amount of damage then amounted to about 600 thousand rubles.

Alexander Khinshtein was born on October 26, 1974 in Moscow. In 1991, he began working freelance with Moskovsky Komsomolets, and in 1992 he was hired as a member of the newspaper staff. He started as a correspondent and later became a columnist under the editor-in-chief. In 1996, he entered the correspondence department of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov.

He hosted his own program on the TVC “The X-Files”. Famous for scandalous investigative journalism. Based on his materials, criminal cases involving high-ranking officials were repeatedly initiated. He ran for the State Duma, but unsuccessfully. Collects badges with KGB symbols.

State Duma

Khinshtein Alexander Evseevich in December 2003 was elected to the State Duma from district No. 122 of Nizhny Novgorod. He chaired the Anti-Corruption Commission, which operated under the Governor's Administration. As a member of the United Russia faction, he replaced the chairman of the Committee on Industry, High Technologies and Construction in the State Duma. In addition, he sat on the Anti-Corruption Commission, on electoral legislation, and was a member of the group that studied the expenditure of budget funds and investments that were allocated for road construction. He was also a member of the inter-factional association of deputies, which dealt with Russian aviation and astronautics.

He was deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Commission of the Union of Russia and Belarus on interaction with social movements and information policy. The work was apparently fruitful, therefore, in 2007, Khinshtein was elected to the State Duma again and again from the Nizhny Novgorod region on the lists of United Russia. This time I again sat on the Committees on Industry, the Automotive Industry, Anti-Corruption and Legislative Support. In 2011, he was elected to the State Duma for the third time - this time from the Samara region (results of the primaries), accusing the Nizhny Novgorod authorities of manipulating the preliminary vote. Now the deputy had to continue working on the fight against corruption (it had actually decreased significantly over the previous two terms, one might say, it had come to nothing, his constituents joked). He was also entrusted with assistance in the tripartite commission, which considers the country's budget.

Politics and social activities

In 1999, Khinshtein was registered as a candidate for the State Duma of the third convocation and in December lost the elections by a minimal margin. In 2003, Alexander again tried to enter the lower house of the Federal Assembly, this time successfully.

Alexander Evseevich was honored to be a deputy from electoral district No. 122 of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Since 2006, he has been involved in solving the problems of “deceived shareholders.” In 2007, Khinshtein was once again elected to the State Duma on the United Russia list from the Nizhny Novgorod region, and in 2011 - from the Samara region.

Throughout his career as a politician, a member of the United Russia faction was listed as deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Construction, a member of the State Duma Anti-Corruption Commission, co-chairman of the working group to study the practice of spending budget funds, and deputy chairman of the commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia. Khinshtein was also involved in other issues.

State Duma Deputy Alexander Khinshtein
On October 24, 2021, Alexander was appointed a federal civil servant. Khinshtein received the position of adviser to the director of the Russian Guard. Due to his service in a new place, he was required to suspend his membership in the United Russia party.

At the end of 2021, Alexander Khinshtein commented on the change in the status of OMON and SOBR fighters of the Russian Guard from police to military ranks. According to the adviser, this will help members of the National Guard coordinate actions with the special forces of the Internal Troops.

At the same time, Khinshtein tried to return to the State Duma after the resignation of the deputy from the Bryansk region, Alexander Zhutenkov. But the candidate from the LDPR party, Boris Paikin, was chosen for this place.

In 2021, Khinshtein had a second opportunity, this time to take the place of deputy from Samara. The issue was considered by Alexander Evseevich’s immediate superior, the head of the Russian Guard, Viktor Zolotov, and the head of the region, Dmitry Azarov. Of course, in connection with the return to the lower house, I had to give up working with the Russian Guard. But, apparently, the politician does not regret what happened and feels like a fish in water in the deputy chair.

Affairs

However, State Duma deputy Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein initiated about a hundred bills relating to civil, administrative and criminal law. Since 2006, he has been actively involved in the problems and fates of defrauded shareholders; many laws initiated by him went in this direction. Coordinated work to solve these problems and helped affected citizens. If you read the news on the topic, it will become clear how these laws do not work in the country. Examples of literally the last days are Karelia, where people were deprived of not only their completed housing, but also the money for it was not returned. The same thing happened and is happening in Siberia, in Yaroslavl, even in the Moscow region. Almost everywhere.

But Deputy Khinshtein was well protected, and every day this protection is getting stronger. In 2014, United Russia discussed the issue of his membership in the ranks of the party and, especially, in the presidium of the general council. Everyone remembers this disgusting aviation scandal, when materials were sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office demanding the deprivation of Khinshtein’s immunity and bringing him to administrative responsibility for hooligan behavior on the plane. The prosecutor's investigation did not find any illegal actions. The Investigative Committee of Russia (now with a different composition) was again wrong. Although there is confirmation from the crew of the aircraft and other passengers returning from Mineralnye Vody to Moscow that aviation security was grossly violated. Khinshtein not only ignored the flight attendant’s verbal comments, but also the ship’s commander’s written warning. In addition, the deputy allowed himself to make statements about the crew that would humiliate the dignity of any person. Khinshtein was not punished in any way. Even a fine. No crime was found in the actions of the “allegedly” drunk deputy. Miracles. It is necessary that Khinshtein apologized to the crew. He never admitted that there was a riot on board.

[edit] Career

Alexander Khinshtein was born on October 26, 1974 in Moscow into a family of engineers Yevsey Abramovich Khinshtein and Inna Abramovna Regirer.

In 1991 he graduated from high school and in the same year became a freelance employee of the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper.

In 1992, he joined the editorial staff of MK and worked there until 2003 (his last position was as a columnist for the editor-in-chief of the Editorial Board of the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper).

In 1996-2001 he graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University.

In November 1999, he was registered as a candidate for deputy of the State Duma of the third convocation in the Orekhovo-Borisov constituency as an independent candidate. In December of the same year, Khinshtein lost the election to General Andrei Nikolaev by a minimal margin.

From December 29, 2003 to October 5, 2021 - deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the IV - VI convocations.

From 2003 to 2016, he was a member of the United Russia faction.

In 2007 he graduated from Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Since October 24, 2021 - Advisor to the Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation Viktor Zolotov as a federal civil servant. Supervises issues of legal regulation, ideological, propaganda and information work.

The first wife is Yulia Fedotova.

The second wife is actress Olga Polyakova (Polina Polyakova), in 2014 they had a son, Artyom, and in May 2021, a second son.

Scandal

What exactly happened on the evening of May 29? Or did nothing special happen? First, the high-ranking passenger missed his flight, but nothing irreversible happened - the flight was delayed. Khinshtein was even given a few minutes to say goodbye to those seeing him off right at the plane's ramp. He was clearly in no hurry to get on board. And when he got up, he immediately began to quarrel with the crew: he refused to fasten his seat belts, insulted the stewards, shaking his documents (or not his own again?) The quarrel gradually and irreversibly turned into a brawl, which is clearly visible in those videos that were filmed by other passengers and a huge number of them ended up online. The deputy could not calm down until the plane began to land. However, even then he did not calm down, continuing to stand in the passage. And in Sheremetyevo the police have already helped the crew.

How does Khinshtein himself feel about what happened? He wrote a lot of posts on Twitter about how the Investigative Committee is trying to bring him to justice for literally nothing for the fourth time (disorderly conduct on board an airliner, the use of forged documents - another, smaller caliber would have already sent him away for ten years) fifteen in strict regime). Khinshtein did not stop complaining about the information war unleashed against him, about turning public opinion against him as a deputy and journalist. He no longer accuses Orlov and his comrades, who fled abroad, but the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Bastrykin, of deliberately fighting against the journalist “for criticizing his office.” It should be noted that Khinshtein conducted investigations and scandalous articles were published about both Kasyanov and Boris Berezovsky. In addition, Khinshtein wrote a book about Yeltsin, where the title contains “case history.” A person, therefore, he is ambiguous to the most extreme extent. But this does not mean at all that you can behave like a pig in everyday life. As a result, Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein did not go to the next State Duma elections. Where are the old concerns now and what is the impact on public opinion? There are some surprises here. This is not the only reason - the liner. A lot of them. Including quarrels with regional authorities, and their dissatisfaction with their own nominee. At first he was left at party work. But even this had to be sacrificed, since Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein had to master another very interesting field of activity.

Russian National Guard

In October 2021, a member of the United Russia party and a prominent political figure received a new appointment. He is now an adviser to the director of the Federal Troop Service (Russian National Guard) Viktor Zolotov. This is a state civil service that allows you to operate not with forged documents, but with your own documents; they will be enough to extinguish the discontent of people of absolutely any rank in a scandal of any degree of impudence. The areas of law that Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein now oversees are considered by the Russian Guard to be the most important. This includes legal regulation, which the former deputy is more than good at, this is information work, as well as ideological and propaganda work. The most interesting thing is that he had to suspend his membership in United Russia.

After his new appointment, the ex-deputy gave several interviews, where he explained how he saw his activities as an adviser to the head of the Russian Guard. It is necessary to recall that not so long ago he graduated from a glorious university - the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. That is, the area in which he will have to apply his talents is more than familiar to Khinshtein. Now, working on the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we will have to raise, rather than lower, the image of this department. Khinshtein’s range of activities is outlined extremely broadly, from direct lawmaking to coverage of his work in the media. However, the tasks will still be set by Viktor Zolotov, director of the Russian Guard, and carried out by Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein.

Khinshtein Alexander Evseevich

Deputy of the State Duma of Russia of the 7th convocation. Member of the All-Russian political party "United Russia". Chairman of the Lower House of Parliament Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications. Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption. Advisor to the Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops.

Alexander Khinshtein was born on October 26, 1974 in Moscow. I was brought up in an ordinary family. Father, Evsei Abramovich and mother, Inna Abramovna, worked as simple engineers. After graduating from school No. 193 in 1991, he immediately became a freelance journalist for the newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets.

A year later he got hired and worked for this publication for eleven years. During this period of time, the journalist managed to enter the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University and successfully graduate. Later, Alexander graduated from the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Until 1996, no one knew about this journalist; he announced himself a little later with his scandalous articles about famous people and sharp investigations.

In May 1999, a criminal case was opened against the journalist for falsifying a driver's license, but it was closed due to the lack of evidence of a crime. A year later, the journalist received an award from the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the best work of literature and art about the activities of internal affairs bodies.

In the same year, Khinshtein registered as a candidate for State Duma deputies of the third convocation and in December lost the elections by a minimal margin. In 2003, he again tried to enter the State Duma and this time he succeeded. With his assertiveness and determination, the journalist achieved what he wanted and became a State Duma deputy. It was from this year that his career as a politician began, but he did not forget about his journalistic activities.

Alexander Evseevich conducted investigations and, as a result, wrote a number of articles about former Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, exposed Boris Berezovsky, and wrote the book “Yeltsin. Kremlin. Medical history,” spoke out against Zurabov and demanded his resignation. Khinshtein's activities as a journalist and politician were assessed ambiguously.

Since 2006, he has taken an active part in solving the most difficult problems of “deceived shareholders.” A year later, he was again elected to the State Duma on the United Russia list from the Nizhny Novgorod region, and in 2011 from the Samara region.

Throughout his career as a politician, Khinshtein was a member of the United Russia faction, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Construction, a member of the State Duma Commission on Anti-Corruption, co-chairman of the working group on studying the practice of spending budget funds, deputy chairman of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia.

On April 24, 2021, Alexander Khinshtein was appointed to the position of Advisor to the Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation: Rosgvardia. He will work in the field of legal support and rule-making related to the Russian National Guard, as well as oversee some information support issues.

Following the results of the elections on September 9, 2021, Alexander Evseevich was elected to the State Duma of Russia of the 7th convocation from the 158th electoral district of the Samara region.

At a meeting of the State Duma on February 12, 2021, Khinshtein was approved as deputy chairman of the Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption.

On January 22, 2021, the State Duma of Russia approved Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein as chairman of the committee on information policy, information technology and communications. In this post he replaced Leonid Leonidovich Levin, who was appointed Deputy Head of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The first wife is Yulia Fedotova.

Second wife - Olga Polyakova (stage name - Polina Polyakova), actress

In 2014, their son Artem was born, and in May 2021, their second son.
25.10.2020

Wife first, wife second

This person’s life position is so active that there is little time left for his personal life. Therefore, Khinshtein had to part with his first wife, Yulia Fedotova, and the reason for the separation was precisely the lack of attention on the part of her husband. They were a pair of like-minded people, they were even united by their profession, both studied journalism and did just that. Only with different consequences. The wife was clearly uncomfortable living in constant fear of the revelations of extremely influential people that her husband was up to. Troubles like dirty rumors, gossip and blackmail were the smallest. For some time, Alexander lived in freedom, however, not without relationships with the female sex. In the end, a wife was found for such a busy man as Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein. The children didn’t have to wait long. Moreover, they rushed the wedding. Or rather, not yet they, but he. Because after a short time, a son was born to the deputy and TV star Polina Polyakova. This is a stage name, in fact she is Polyakova, but Olga Alexandrovna. She starred in the TV series “Reflection” and “Closed School”. Beautiful girl. The adviser to the Russian Guard, Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein, is probably happy in his new marriage. His children will probably be happy too.

Awards

The member of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation received many professional awards, among the most prestigious are the “Golden Pen of Russia” and the FSB and Ministry of Internal Affairs awards. Being in the personnel reserve of the management personnel of the President of Russia, he was awarded an order and many medals. He became an honorary resident of several Russian cities and received a large number of certificates of honor from the President and the government.

In addition, he received awards in the field of journalism and literature about the activities of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, these two worthy organizations, from time to time trying to put the laureate in prison. “The best pen of Russia” is also Alexander Evseevich Khinshtein. “Notes from a Suitcase” is one of his most famous books, worthy of separate discussion.

Worldview

The narrative unfolds in the form of the diaries of one of the most informed people of recent times - Ivan Aleksandrovich Serov. Moreover, the author of the notes was himself a very influential person: the head of the NKVD, and subsequently the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs from 1941 to 1953, who became the first chairman of the KGB in 1954. Hero of the Soviet Union, Army General. Naturally, the real merits of such a person are hidden from the general public, and historians since the time of Khrushchev have branded Serov with the most negative characteristics. In fact, this is not at all the narrow-minded Stalinist and executioner that he seems to be to gullible readers of the post-Stalin era.

Khinshtein managed to clarify the situation a little, but not to the extent that would have taken root in the minds of the duped population. Many people today experience cognitive dissonance if they hear positive statements about such great personalities as Stalin or Beria. In addition to this rather sensational book, Khinshtein wrote several more, among which texts of political investigations and detective stories predominate.
