Youth and career development

Pavel Poselenov grew up as an extraordinary person; the development of this quality was facilitated by his studies at the famous Moscow school No. 91. The school, belonging to the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, was considered experimental; in the learning process, the opinion of each student was valued and developed. After graduating in 1984, Pavel entered the Faculty of Chemistry at Moscow State University. While studying at the university, he serves in the army, then becomes a graduate student and develops scientific activities. In 2006, he received a second education and became a financier.

During his climb up the career ladder, Pavel Alexandrovich tried himself in many fields, but his main activity is related to construction, more precisely with the PIK group of companies. Here he worked from 2001 to 2014: first he was involved in insurance in the construction industry, holding responsible positions. From 2008 to 2009, he headed the northwestern direction of the PIK association, then became President and Chairman of the Board of PIK OJSC. Poselenov worked as the general director of a construction association from 2009 to 2014.

Pavel Poselenov has been an honorary builder of the Russian Federation since 2013.

Currently, Pavel Aleksandrovich heads the investment construction holding "Ingrad".

Married, he has a daughter and a son.

Career and political activity

In the early 90s, the man decided to go into business and chose the construction industry. Here is a list of his main career steps:

  • From 1991 to 2001, Pavel Alexandrovich held senior positions in companies operating in various sectors of the economy, including heading the travel company Academservice and Tervolina.
  • From 2001 to 2007, he was the Head of the Osnova Industrial Insurance Group, part of the PIK Group of Companies.
  • From 2008 to 2009, he was the General Director of PIK North-West LLC and Vice President for Coordination of Activities of OJSC PIK Group of Companies.
  • From 2009 to June 2014, he was President and Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC PIK Group of Companies, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC DSK-2 and OJSC DSK-3.

In 2013 he was awarded the title “Honorary Builder of Russia”.

In 2014, he became a deputy of the Moscow City Duma of the 6th convocation (from September 14, 2014 to 2021) from electoral district No. 41 - Mozhaisky, part of the Kuntsevo district, part of the Fili-Davydkovo district, was a member of the United Russia faction. As a deputy, Poselenov took part in the development of 20 bills, and was a member of commissions in three areas: ecology, urban planning and science.

Today Pavel Aleksandrovich heads Ingrad, a group of companies that has become a leader in the construction industry in Moscow and the region. During Poselenov’s leadership, Ingrad was included in the Forbes ranking as one of the 200 fastest growing companies in Russia, and he himself received a place in the Top 250 best leaders in the country and leadership in the construction industry.

The company is participating in the renovation project, is engaged in the improvement of Simonovskaya embankment, as well as the reconstruction of the Torpedo stadium. Ingrad conducts large-scale charitable activities and financially supports:

  • Arithmetic of Good Foundation;
  • sporting events: Moscow Marathon, Urban Hero Race, etc.;
  • cultural institutions, thematic exhibitions, expositions.

Poselenov also heads the “Building the Future” foundation, which supports socially vulnerable children under 18 years of age in Moscow, the Moscow, Omsk, Kaliningrad regions and the Perm Territory.

Ingrad

In 2021, Pavel Poselenov headed the construction company, which at that time had a significant portfolio of built square meters: almost 4 million. The company has completed the construction of new residential complexes in Pushkino, Medvedkovo, as well as in Moscow: on Vavilova Street.

Ingrad needed further development, so the most famous Russian developer in the construction industry was offered to head the team. It is estimated that the salary of top managers at this level is 3–5 million rubles per month.

Under his leadership, the construction of the Odingrad and Preobrazhenie residential complexes is currently underway; this complex is recognized as the most comfortable of all the residential complexes built in 2021. During the economic crisis associated with the pandemic, Ingrad managed to retain its staff in order to continue the activities of the holding.

Pavel Aleksandrovich, along with leading architects, top managers and journalists, is a member of the jury of the expert company Urban Awards 2021. His competence is to determine the best developers in Russia based on the results of their activities.

Pavel Aleksandrovich is famous for his statements in favor of the demolition of Khrushchev-era buildings and the implementation of a program for relocating residents from dilapidated housing stock. How did Pavel get into politics?

Poselenov was a deputy of the Moscow City Duma for five years (from September 2014 to September 2021). I went to the elections as part of the “My Moscow” faction, they were elected from “United Russia”. He has worked in areas such as environmental policy, urban planning, public property and land use, science and industry.

He took an active part in the creation and implementation of the project for the renovation of the capital of the Russian Federation. He also took part in the Urban Forum, which helped everyone understand what Moscow could be like in the future. Pavel presented Moscow as a city that turns to its residents, that loves its residents, and they reciprocate.

The businessman’s work biography began with the position of developer, which he held at the PIK Group of Companies, which dealt with Moscow real estate. In 2001, he became the head of the Osnova insurance group. In 2008, he became general director of the subsidiary Peak North-West. The successes that the young top manager demonstrated in this post allowed him to take the post of president of the general company a year later, in which he replaced the founder of the group, Kirill Pisarev. There is information that Poselenov owes his career rise to entrepreneur Suleiman Kerimov, who acquired the main stake in OJSC PIK in 2009. After Kerimov sold his share to Sergei Gordeev and Alexander Mamut, Poselenov, as Kerimov’s man, was forced to leave his post in 2014.
