With the assistance of his mentor, the football player was called to a tryout at Spartak Moscow. The coaches liked him, but the club did not have free housing. Fortunately, it was found in the boarding school of the capital's Lokomotiv, but difficulties arose there too. Kokorin was not old enough, but in the end they agreed to keep him on probation. Parting with his parents was not easy, but it helped Alexander become independent early.
The boy lived and trained with the Lokomotiv team for the next 6 years. During this time, he was repeatedly recognized as the top scorer in various football competitions between Moscow sports schools. Even then it became clear that the player had a great future ahead of him.
Childhood and family
Alexander was born in the small town of Valuiki. His interest in football was instilled in him by his father, who at first coached his son himself. Already at school he was invited to the football section. At the age of nine, he simultaneously began attending the boxing section.

In 2000, the boy attended a screening of the Spartak football school. The young football player performed well, but Spartak could not provide him with housing, unlike the Lokomotiv football school, which provided him with a place in a boarding school. It was there that he studied for the next 6 years.
Alexander Kokorin started playing football literally from the cradle
At the age of ten, Kokorin actually became independent, finding himself without parents in the capital. According to him, the first two years were very difficult. Relatives could visit him no more than once every three months. But over time, he got used to it, learned to do laundry and even cooked some things himself, and he also made many friends.

Club football
Before the 2008 season, 17-year-old Kokorin signed a three-year contract with the Moscow club Dynamo. His debut in the RPL took place in the game of the 24th round of the Russian championship against Saturn. The young athlete managed to score a goal and bring his team victory.
The footballer’s contribution did not go unnoticed, and he played the following matches in the first team. For the club, the result of the tournament was 3rd place, and Alexander was recognized as one of the best young scorers. The successful start was overshadowed by a lack of goals in subsequent games.

Despite this, Dynamo management extended the contract with the athlete. After this, Kokorin’s performance increased, he regularly entered the field. In September 2012, his 100th match in the RPL took place.
Soon it became known about the star’s desire to change the club. He gave preference to Anzhi Makhachkala, but did not stay there for long. The FC's policy changed, and they began to get rid of highly paid players. Among them was Alexander, who returned to Dynamo’s location.
According to Sergei Stepashin, during this period the football player received a salary of about € 5.5 million per year. The player sought to justify his cost, and a month after his return he was recognized as the best in the opinion of the team's fans.

Alexander Kokorin in the Spartak club
The 2014/2015 season became special in Kokorin’s biography, because he scored his first hat-trick, hitting the Rostov goal. The bright play on the field later earned the footballer the captain's armband, and not only Russian but also foreign clubs showed interest in him. Representatives of the English Arsenal and the French PSG negotiated the purchase of the star, but Dynamo decided to sell the ward to Zenit.
The player scored his first goal for the St. Petersburg club during the match against Amkar. But later his performance left much to be desired, and his behavior on the field was criticized by experts. It was possible to rehabilitate only at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season, and then the athlete received a serious injury and was forced to miss subsequent games.
The return to the field did not last long, because soon a scandalous incident occurred, due to which the star’s career was in jeopardy.
Scandal
On October 7, 2021, after the Zenit - Krasnodar match in St. Petersburg, Kokorin, together with his friend, midfielder of the Krasnodar club Pavel Mamaev, went to Moscow on the Sapsan. They were going to celebrate 10 years of friendship. Together with Alexander Protasovitsky and Kokorin’s younger brother Kirill, they went to the night strip club “Egoist Beijing” near the Mayakovskaya metro station. On October 8, 2021, at about 7 o’clock in the morning, Kokorin, his brother Kirill, Pavel Mamaev and Protasovitsky beat up Belarusian citizen Vitaly Solovchuk, who worked as a driver and was waiting near the Beijing Hotel for the host of the “Good Morning” program of Channel One, Olga Ushakova. Solovchuk received a concussion and traumatic brain injury and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Botkin City Clinical Hospital. Somewhat later, at about 9 o’clock in the morning, Kokorin and Mamaev started a fight in Moscow in the Coffeemania cafe on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, the victim of which was Denis Pak, director of the department of automotive industry and railway engineering of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
On May 8, 2021, the Presnensky District Court of Moscow sentenced Alexander Kokorin to one year and six months of imprisonment to be served in a general regime colony. On September 6 he was released under the parole procedure.

Russian team
At the international level, Kokorin’s path turned out to be less bright than at the national level. His debut in the main Russian national team took place in the fall of 2011. But the first results became noticeable only a year later, during the World Cup qualifying matches. Alexander scored a goal against Israel. Later, the athlete made his mark at the tournament during a match against the Algerian team.
In 2021, the football player was expected to participate in the World Cup games. But due to injury, he was never able to attend the tournament.
How footballer Alexander Kokorin began his career
His official club career began at Dynamo Moscow in 2008. The 17-year-old striker signed a three-year contract with the club. The team just needed a good striker. Kokorin managed to score his first goal for Dynamo at a high level in his first game for the capital club against Saturn. From that moment on, Kokorin began to be put in the starting lineup. So, for a long time, the talented striker showed very good football, for which in 2011 he was recognized as the best young football player in Russia. In the same year, Alexander extended his contract with Dynamo Moscow. On September 22, 2012, in the 9th round of the championship, in a home game against Amkar, he played his 100th match in the Russian Premier League.
On July 3, 2013, at a meeting of Dynamo directors, the striker said that he wanted to continue his career in Anzhi. The amount of compensation amounted to € 19 million. On July 10, the official website of Anzhi announced that the athlete will join the team in the coming days. But it was not possible to establish a career in Anji. This same year, on August 16, he returns to Dynamo Moscow.
Kokorin scored the first hat-trick in his career against Rostov. But after the winter break, Alexander began a scoring drought and stopped being in the starting lineup. The only goal scored in 2015 was against Rostov. In the summer of 2015, having gained experience and authority, the footballer was appointed captain of the team instead of Kevin Kuranyi. In the first match of the season with the captain's armband, he scored against Zenit.
On January 30, 2016, Alexander signed a contract with St. Petersburg Zenit, simultaneously rejecting the offer from London Arsenal. Kokorin may not have been averse to joining the ranks of the Gunners, but the Londoners’ offer did not suit Dynamo. On April 9, 2016, Kokorin scored his first goal for the St. Petersburg team in a game against Amkar.
Kokorin in the Russian national team
Since 2009, Kokorin has played for the Russian youth team. He mainly took part in the qualifying games for the Youth Euro 2011 and 2013. In total, he scored 7 goals in them.
He made his debut in the Russian national team in October 2011 in a friendly match against the Greek national team. I went with the team to Euro 2012, but was injured in the first match and did not play again in this tournament. Kokorin scored his first goal for the national team in 2012. The ball was scored against Israel as part of the qualification for the 2014 World Cup. On September 6, 2013, Alexander scored the fastest goal in the history of the team, hitting the goal of the Luxembourg team in the 21st second.
At the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, he played three games for the national team and scored one goal against Algeria.

The football player was deprived of his license for driving in the oncoming lane. When Russia left the Confederations Cup in the summer, Alexander published a video where he and Dzyuba showed mustaches with their hand under their noses, with the caption “message,” this is the word often used by their team coach Cherchesov. It seemed to most that the players were mocking the coach.

The story of the beating has not been forgotten either. In June 2021, the court ordered the star to pay monetary compensation to the victim Vitaly Solovchuk. The amount was 50 thousand rubles.
Personal life
The attention of the press is focused not only on the career, but also on the personal life of the athlete. In the past, the media wrote about the football player’s affair with Victoria, the cousin of rapper Timati. But because of Vicky’s studies abroad, the couple broke up.
For some time the player was in a relationship with Kristina Dolgopolova. She accompanied Alexander to Euro 2012 in Poland. But in the fall of the same year, the lovers had a fight, after which it became known about the separation.
A year later, a girl appeared in Kokorin’s life who eclipsed all the previous ones. Daria Valitova captivated the football player from the first time they met. But at first she did not reciprocate, and the athlete had to win her heart.
The beginning of the relationship was unstable. In an interview, Valitova mentioned frequent quarrels and scandals. Due to training, Alexander could disappear for months, which his beloved did not like. But over time, she realized that this is how he makes money, and began to lead a carefree life as the football player’s chosen one. The girl was often seen in clubs and at social events.

Alexander Kokorin: biography
Alexander was born on March 19, 1991 in the city of Valuiki, Belgorod region. The man's zodiac sign is Pisces, his nationality is not reliably known. The athlete's height is 183 cm and his weight is about 82 kg.
Childhood and youth, parents, education
Little is known about the man’s family; in the athlete’s biography, the parents are mentioned only as his first mentors and support group at competitions.
In elementary school, football began to “infiltrate” more intensively into the life of young Sasha. The coach of the sports section, to which the boy was invited in the first grade, began to replace his parents.
Alexander’s first “coach” in football was his father, who taught the boy the basics of discipline in his hometown
Regularly attending classes, Kokorin showed amazing persistence in achieving victory. Some time after the boy began his sports activities, the coach sent Alexander to the Spartak team review. However, the lack of available housing prevented him from becoming a resident of a famous national team. In this regard, Alexander had to join the no less popular Moscow team “Lokomotiv”, which had places in a boarding school. The boy lived there, regularly attending training, for six years.
Football career
In 2008, Alexander entered into cooperation with the Moscow football club Dynamo; the contract was signed for three years. Kokorin’s debut appearance on the big field took place in a competition against Saturn. Thanks to the footballer, the Dynamo club won the game with a score of 2:1.
At the time of the conclusion of cooperation with Dynamo, Kokorin was about 17 years old, but he was already an experienced football player
After the expiration of the contract with Dynamo, the football team decided to extend cooperation with the athlete for another three years. Alexander showed great promise, showing his skills better and better with each game.
In the summer of 2013, Kokorin announced his intention to join the Makhachkala football team Anzhi. The exchange of the athlete was valued at a large sum, but at the last moment the owner of the Makhachkala association announced the termination of the deal. In August 2013, Kokorin again joined his native Dynamo.
Alexander's contribution to the team's football activities was invaluable. The man brought more than one decisive goal towards the unification. For many football fans, the athlete was an idol, whose every success was loudly discussed by the public.
The football player holds the record - the fastest goal in the history of the Russian national team in the game against Luxembourg at 21 seconds
Alexander played for the Dynamo national team for a long time, but on August 2, 2021, it became known about the athlete’s transfer to FC Spartak.
Scandals, court, prison
In October 2021, Kokorin’s name appeared in news reports, but this time the mention of the athlete carried a negative message. Alexander, together with his colleague Pavel Mamaev, was accused of beating two men. The cause of the conflict was a remark made by visitors to the Coffeemania restaurant to the athletes. As a result of the brawl, official Denis Pak was injured and he went to the hospital with a concussion. Soon after the fight, the football players were also caught beating the personal driver of Olga Ushakova, a famous TV presenter.
Kokorin was charged under the article “Hooliganism”, but after it was handed down, the man ignored the request to visit the courtroom.
The case of Kokorin and Mamaev caused a great stir; many fans of the athletes expressed disappointment in their actions
Alexander was detained for two months, but the period was regularly extended, delaying the appeal.
On May 8, 2021, the final hearing was held in the case of Kokorin and Mamaev, as a result of which Alexander was sentenced to a term of one year and six months. Both football players were sent to serve prison sentences in Kokorin’s native Belgorod region.
However, even after the verdict, the players fought for their pardon. On September 6, 2021, the men received parole. However, as a result of several trials, a final decision was made on August 3. Based on its results, Mamaev was sent to correctional labor for a period of 12 months, and Kokorin’s sentence did not change.
His mother Svetlana Kokorina was especially worried about the footballer’s fate.
Sports career after prison
In the summer of 2021, Kokorin’s previously concluded contract with Zenit ended, so after his release the man decided to extend it. Despite the rapid recovery of form and success in football after imprisonment, the athlete was advised to join a foreign team, since the chance of returning to any Russian team was small.
At the end of the contract with Zenit, Alexander entered into cooperation with Spartak. According to preliminary estimates, Kokorin was expected to earn ten million euros while playing for the new team.
