Future choreographer Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Reshetnikova was born in Novosibirsk in 1982. The girl's birthday fell on the zodiac sign Scorpio. Since childhood, Katerina grew up as an active and flexible child, so her parents took their daughter to the city dance school, where Katya enjoyed attending aerobics classes. She quickly received her first adult rank and at the age of 13 began participating in competitions and competitions, taking prizes. Dancing
In 2003, Reshetnikova graduated from university and set off to conquer the capital. Already in her second year in Moscow, Katya is participating in the MTV channel’s “Dance Floor Star” project. This brings the young dancer of short stature (165 cm) and fragile physique (weight 53 kg) her first success. Ekaterina’s creative career begins with the country’s first large-scale dance show. Then, out of 3.5 thousand participants, 80 of the most talented were selected, who had to compete for the prize and title of the best dancer in the country. This number included the Novosibirsk dancer.
TV presenter of the “Dance Floor Star” project Sergei Mandrik noted Katya as one of the most promising and brightest participants and invited her to an internship in his own group called Street Jazz. Just a couple of months later, Reshetnikova became a show ballet soloist. She is also invited to teach at a dance school.
The year 2006 was extremely generous with pleasant events for Katya Reshetnikova. She was invited to work as a teacher-tutor on the show “Star Factory - 6”. In addition, in the same year, the choreographer was busy in the “Another Life” project. For a month, 12 participants of the show had the opportunity to work in an industry in which they had never worked. Veteran mentors helped the participants get comfortable in their new profession. One of these professionals was Ekaterina.
In the spring of the same 2006, Katya was invited to work as a choreographer in the Tutsi group, consisting of graduates of Star Factory 3. She also managed to work in the projects “Song of the Year”, “Golden Gramophone”, “Old and New Songs about the Main Thing”, “Two Stars” and others.
Ekaterina Reshetnikova can be seen in popular videos of Russian pop stars. The dancer’s track record includes working on videos for the songs of Bianca and Irakli “White Beach”, Yolka “Throw Away”, Timur Rodriguez Out in space, the group “Silver” Song #1.

Ekaterina Reshetnikova and Vladimir Rakov
Ekaterina’s career is not only about dancing. In 2012, Reshetnikova worked as a concert program director and choreographer for the Serebro group. She performed in the same role for singers Yolka and Bianca.
In the same year, Katya worked as an assistant to the director and choreographer on the popular projects “Universal Artist” (Channel One), “Big Change” (NTV), and the New Year’s show “Red Nick” at the Olimpiysky.
Next year, Ekaterina accepts an invitation from the leaders of the One to One project. At this show, participants tried on the images of musicians and performed cult hits. Here dance coach Reshetnikova worked together with the show director Miguel.
Ekaterina does not stop working in the Loony Band team, which has existed since 2010. The dance group's track record includes collaboration with singer Yolka and participation in Jennifer Lopez's concert, which took place in the capital of Azerbaijan. Reshetnikova also works at the dance school 54 Dance Studio.
In 2014, the dancer delighted fans with her participation in the musical project Den Gi. Together with her bandmates Maxim Nesterovich, Artur Razumeiko and Vlad Nesterovich, the artist starred in the video for the song “Summer”.

After the completion of the 1st season of “Dancing,” Reshetnikova remained in the project. The choreographer continued to choreograph dance numbers in subsequent episodes of the show, as well as in “Battle of the Seasons.” In May 2021, she performed on the stage of the “Dancing” project in a joint performance with Vitaly Savchenko, who became one of the brightest participants.
From that time on, Ekaterina became a choreographer at the dance school and summer camp PRODANCE. Together with the creative producer of the project Miguel and colleagues Anastasia Cherednikova, Inga Fominykh, Mikhail Shabanov, Oleg Klevakin and others, Reshetnikova participates in master classes dedicated to modern dance.
In 2021, Ekaterina Reshetnikova twice became a participant in the entertainment program “Where is the logic?” The first time, together with Miguel, the choreographer competed against Laysan Utyasheva and Pavel Volya, and the second time, together with Maxim Nesterovich, she competed with Nikolai Serga and Regina Todorenko for the right to be called the most logical couple.
In 2017, the choreographer organized a dance team for children and teenagers, which was called PROKIDS. Reshetnikova’s wards simply call her Aunt Katya. At the castings, children in the age group from 8 to 13 years were selected. Now they are actively training in order to perform well at international hip-hop championships in the future. At the end of 2021, the children's dance troupe presented a large reporting concert to the audience.

Ekaterina Reshetnikova, Miguel and Igor Rudnik
In 2021, Ekaterina Reshetnikova, together with Igor Rudnik, became the director of the show BOLERO by Liasan Utiasheva. In the performance, the choreographers managed to combine sports and art - rhythmic gymnastics and dance styles of Vogue New Way, High Heel and modern. In addition to the leading actress, Laysan Utyasheva, Maxim Nesterovich, Anton Panufnik, Ivan Mozhaikin and others took part in the project.
Then Reshetnikova became the director and choreographer of Elena Temnikova’s concert tour TEMNIKOVA 17/18. Together with Max Nesterovich, in addition to staging dance numbers, she performed at the singer’s concerts, which took place in major cities of Russia.
At the beginning of 2021, Ekaterina underwent a planned operation in one of the clinics in Tel Aviv to eliminate varicose veins on her legs; this disease has tormented her for many years. Soon the girl surprised fans with a new image. The dancer cut her hair, becoming almost bald. Reshetnikova explained her choice by the desire to get rid of damaged curls.
In September 2021, the screening of the new season of the show “Dancing” began, in which Ekaterina continued to take an active part in preparing the numbers - as in the 6th season in 2021.
Creative achievements
In addition, throughout her career, Katya Reshetnikova actively starred in music videos. She has worked in numerous projects:

Ekaterina Reshetnikova and Maxim Nesterovich
In one of the episodes of the “Dancing” show, it became known that Katya Reshetnikova was dating project participant Maxim Nesterovich. During the Season 2 finale, Maxim, who became the winner, proposed to her. On April 7, 2021, the wedding of Nesterovich and Reshetnikova took place. After registering the marriage, Ekaterina took her husband’s surname and in subsequent projects introduced herself as Ekaterina Nesterovich.
In April 2021, Katya announced on Instagram that she and Maxim decided to break up. Reshetnikova did not provide details, asking followers not to delve into the reasons for the divorce.
“We finished our joint voyage with Maxim Valerievich,” wrote Katerina.

After graduating from university in 1997, Ekaterina returned to St. Petersburg. The actress's creative career began at the Maly Drama Theater.
