Elizaveta was born on June 1, 1998 in Yekaterinburg. His father is a builder by profession, his mother works in the tourism industry. In 2005, Lisa went to first grade at MAOU Secondary School No. 32 with in-depth study of individual subjects (music, fine arts, literature, MHC), where she studied for 9 years, receiving general and musical education in piano; In addition, she attended a ballet club. In 2014, Elizaveta entered the tenth grade at the UrFU Scientific Research Center. After graduating from school, Elizaveta applied for admission to EGTI (Literary Creativity),[1] UrFU (Philology),[2][3]GITIS (Producing)[4] and VGIK. After graduating from eleven classes, in 2021 Lisa will enroll in the specialty “Producing” at VGIK as a correspondence course.[5][6] The reason why Lisa chose VGIK was her love for classical cinema. The choice of the specialty “Producing” was based on the fact that at this faculty one can also gain knowledge in the field of economics and law, and Elizaveta preferred the correspondence course of study because she would like to have a more or less free schedule to work[7]. Currently, Elizaveta continues her studies at VGIK and is doing an internship in her native Yekaterinburg on the ETV channel, where she regularly produces joint projects with Alexandra Aksenova.[8]

Lisa really likes to play the piano and write poetry[9], she also loves to cross-stitch and read Russian classics[10], and her work consists of simple but ironic songs on socially important topics[9][11]. In terms of texts, Elizabeth prefers simple meanings that are understandable to everyone. She is attracted to the Internet and everything connected with it. The choice of topics for songs is related to Lisa’s attitude to the things around her: from everyday life to extremely unpleasant or, on the contrary, joyful phenomena[9].

Initially, Elizabeth saw her target audience as fifteen-year-old girls “with pink hair,” but eventually people of completely different age categories, regardless of gender, began to pay attention to the singer’s work[9]. 80% of Monetochka’s audience are men from eighteen to thirty[12]. At first, the popularity of her own creativity surprised and even frightened Lisa a little, but she is glad that there are people around who are ready to support her[9].

Frank banter in Lisa's texts is combined with common sense on the verge of cynicism. Excellent command of words and precise orientation in the signs of the times are seasoned with charming naivety[13]. Elizabeth believes that every person should have an active civic position and not be indifferent to what is happening around him, even if it does not affect him personally. Lisa clearly separates the concepts of show business and creativity and gives preference to the latter[14]. Elizabeth gives the impression of a modest girl, but not shy and able to politely communicate with listeners[15].

Who is Monetochka’s producer, who writes her songs, why does she have such a voice?

The singer’s angelic appearance and her touching voice seem to be created for lyrical and romantic songs in the pop style. But Lisa decided otherwise and began to sing caustic and sometimes a little rude songs on social issues.

Why does such a voice, a little childish, a little naive, sing such controversial and socially relevant songs? Who writes music and lyrics for Lisa? Monetochka is the author and performer of her own hits. She doesn’t have a producer yet, but it’s probably a matter of time. After all, many “mastodons” of Russian show business are probably already rubbing their hands in anticipation of cooperation with a promising star.

The phenomenal success of the Ekaterinburg schoolgirl shook up the entire, slightly silted cohort of Russian performers. The post contains seven songs: the previously mentioned “For Odnoklassniki” and six new songs: “Russian Art”, “On the Internet”, “Garlic Petals”, “G. Rubchinsky”, “For money” and “Where are you, my beloved?”. The lyrics and music of all seven songs belong to Elizabeth.[17]

On December 22, 2015, Monetochka published her debut song of her own composition, “Psychedelic Cloud Rap,” with which the very name Monetochka is often associated.[18]

On January 3, 2021, Elizaveta uploads the next five songs: “SkReich”, “Holiday of counter-violence”, “I am Lisa”, “The coolest anarcho-communist” and “Anime”. The song “SkReich” is a kind of parody of the single “Black Siemens” by Russian rapper Pharaoh. Monetochka wrote the text to Pharaoh's music and recorded the song. The song “Anime” performed by Monetochka is a poem by Moscow poetess Gloria Gore, set to music by Elizabeth.[19]

As already mentioned, Lisa was born and raised in the Urals, on the first day of summer 1998. It is noteworthy that her family is in no way connected with show business. Her father, Andrey Gyrdymov, is a builder by profession, and her mother, Elena Gyrdymova, previously worked as a manager at a travel agency, and now helps her daughter with organizing performances.

An interesting fact: until the ninth grade, little Lisa studied at an art school, with an in-depth study of poetry and music. It was there that the little girl learned notes and learned to play the keyboard. At the same time, Lisa went to a ballet club. She eagerly participated in a variety of performances and competitions. But it is worth noting that she never seriously thought about becoming a musical performer.

The biography and personal life of Monetochka (singer) changed dramatically when the girl turned fifteen and she entered a special school at a state university. There they devoted a lot of time to the direct formation of the students’ personalities and their cultural development. Thus, Lizaveta began to compose lyrics and music for them, and then publish them on her profile on social networks under the special nickname “Monetochka”.

According to Elizabeth herself, when she registered on the social network, she had no desire to write her real last name. That’s why she wrote in rhyme – Lizaveta Moneta. And in fact, the pseudonym “Monetochka” itself was created independently. The girl was very surprised when her songs began to gain popularity among young people, and even the first fans began to appear. There, on the Internet, the young performer met famous rappers, including Noize MC and Gnoyny. They appreciated the girl’s work and even invited her to work together. Lisa certainly could not have dreamed of something like this.

After graduating from school, Lizaveta was able to decide for herself to leave her parents’ home to move to the capital. There she entered correspondence studies at VGIK with a degree in Producer. I settled in a dormitory for out-of-town students. It was there that she was able to immerse herself in the atmosphere that she so missed in her parents' home. And she chose this specialty because of her great love for classical cinema, as well as to satisfy her desire for knowledge in economics.

Elizaveta posted her debut song, called “For Classmates,” on her VKontakte profile back in the fall of 2015. Next, several more songs were posted, performed in an innocent, gentle voice to the accompaniment of keyboards. Despite the singer’s rather gentle appearance, the topics she raised in her songs were far from the most childish. The theme for her songs was irony over the values ​​of today's youth, the political situation in Ukraine, and so on.

It is interesting that, if at the very beginning of her musical career her fans were exclusively teenage girls, then over time men began to join the audience of listeners. What is remarkable is that they are of completely different ages. Lisa’s personal acquaintance with such famous rappers as Noize MC and Gnoyny, as well as collabs with them, added much more popularity to Lisa.

Having moved to the Russian capital, the young performer recorded her debut album, which included co-authored works with the above-mentioned musicians. The album, released two years ago, was called “Psychedelic Cloud Rap.” It’s impossible not to notice that the music video for the song “G. Rubchinsky” the rappers filmed without Lisa. Instead, in the video there was a certain girl with her face covered with a coin. At first, the singer was very upset by this, because it turned out that the rappers took all the glory for themselves. But over time, she began to view the incident more as a learning experience, and from it she was able to draw useful conclusions. Currently, all compositions from this disc are completely freely available, and on the social network Vkontakte you can find the official public page of Monetochka with the so-called “opposition” compositions, as stated in the description of the public page.

Currently, all of Elizabeth’s personal space is occupied by study and the creative component. Therefore, she has absolutely no time left for romance. Of course, she had a boyfriend whom she dated in high school. But they broke up when Lizaveta began to gain fame - to put it simply, he could not stand the test of fame and decided that he had had enough. Despite this very unfortunate incident, Lizochka has not at all lost faith in romance and has absolutely no doubt that she will meet the love of her life. If only because men make up the majority of her listeners.

This year, Monetochka released a new album called “Coloring Books for Adults.” To support him, a concert was organized in the capital right on the performer’s birthday, and the official video “Zaporozhets” was released. It contains irony over a recent event that occurred in Elon Musk’s corporation - Tesla was launched into space.

Shortly before this amazing event, Lisa visited the “Evening Urgant” program, where she sang one of her last songs. Until the ninth grade, she studied at an art school, where a lot of time was devoted to music and literature. There the girl learned to play the piano and mastered musical notation. At the same time, Lisa studied ballet, willingly took part in various creative competitions and concerts, but did not seriously think about a career as a singer.

Everything changed at the age of fifteen, when Gyrdymova moved to a specialized school at the Ural University, where great importance was attached to the development of students’ personalities and their individual development. Lisa began writing songs and posting them on her social media page under the pseudonym Monetochka.

To her surprise, the songs aroused the interest of the youth audience, and the number of her fans began to grow rapidly. The girl met famous rappers on the Internet, including Noize MC, who appreciated her work and offered cooperation.

On April 18, 2021, the case of Semyon Kochkin thundered throughout the world: the British broadcasting organization BBC published an article about the criminal prosecution of Cheboksary resident Semyon Kochkin for reposting a song and picture containing Nazi symbols from the official Monetochka page on VKontakte.[73]

Elizaveta Gyrdymova was born in 1998 in Yekaterinburg. The girl celebrates her birthday on June 1st. Seeing their daughter’s desire for creativity, her parents sent her to study at MAOU Secondary School No. 32.
