Vyacheslav Dobrynin was born on January 25, 1946 in Moscow.
Father - Galust Oganesovich Petrosyan, Armenian. Mother - Anna Ivanovna Antonova, Russian. The parents of the future musician met during wartime. It was at the front that she married Lieutenant Colonel Petrosyan. At the end of the war, Anna returned to Moscow, not suspecting that she was expecting a child. My father was sent to fight with Japan, after which he went home to Armenia. His parents did not accept their Russian daughter-in-law, so the woman raised the child alone. At the beginning of his career, the musician was forced to take a pseudonym, since in the 70s there was already a popular artist with the surname Antonov.
After the death of his father in 1980, Vyacheslav nevertheless visited his grave. The mother passed away a year after her ex-husband - in 1981. The death of his mother was a real shock for the already famous musician. It was during this period that he grew a beard.
The boy began to be interested in music from early childhood - already at the age of 3 he tried to play the harmonica, repeating previously heard melodies. At a music school, Dobrynin mastered the button accordion. According to the musician himself, he inherited his talent from his mother, who had innate artistic abilities. Little Slava was educated at Moscow school No. 5, where the children of many Soviet academicians studied.

At this time, Dobrynin was seriously interested in music.
The young musician was a fan of The Beatles: he performed their songs and composed similar ones. Young Slava even looked like one of the group members. He became so carried away by playing in different groups that he abandoned the study of art history. Such immersion in the world of music had a negative impact on his academic performance, which is why Dobrynin almost dropped out of the university.

Composer career
In 1968, a rehearsal of the ensemble in which Dobrynin was then playing was attended by Pavel Slobodkin, a music producer. After recording the first album, “Aleshkina Love,” the group went on tour, but due to his studies, Vyacheslav could not go with them. During his studies, Vyacheslav managed to write several scientific articles and conduct “a couple of” excursions around the Pushkin Museum. Despite his success in this area, he still chose the musical path. In 1970, the guy got a job in Oleg Lundstrem’s jazz orchestra, in which the then little-known singer Alla Pugacheva sang. During this period, Vyacheslav Dobrynin led the Lada quartet, which later gained great popularity.
Starting in 1971, the young musician performed in the Bremen Town Musicians VIA, after which he joined the Gems. Collaboration with the famous poet Leonid Derbenev brought Vyacheslav real success - together they created more than a hundred popular compositions: “Native Land”, “Everything I Have in Life”, “Farewell”. In the mid-1970s, Vyacheslav Dobrynin became one of the country's most popular composers. His songs were performed by such famous artists as Anna German, Mikhail Boyarsky and Valery Obodzinsky.

The officer’s relatives did not want to hear about his wife, who did not belong to the Armenian nation, so the future musician grew up in a single-parent family.
Son Vyacheslav received his mother’s surname. The musician never saw his father, only in 1980, after Galust’s death, he visited the cemetery where he was buried. The greatest influence on the boy’s upbringing and hobbies was his mother. Anna Ivanovna pushed her son towards music, which she loved. Vyacheslav enrolled in a music school and chose the button accordion. Later he learned to play the guitar.

Creation
In nineteen seventy-two, his fruitful collaboration with the songwriter Leonid Petrovich Derbenev began, which lasted until the poet’s death. To avoid confusion, at this time the popularity of Yuri Antonov was increasing, Vyacheslav Antonov made the decision to change his creative name. In two years it will be officially legalized - written in the passport. From now on, the author of the hits is known as Vyacheslav Dobrynin. The songs of the young composer begin to be performed by famous Soviet singers - Lev Leshchenko, Joseph Kobzon, Mikhail Boyarsky, as well as Sofia Rotaru, Roxana Babayan. Since nineteen eighty-one, Slava grew his famous beard - in memory of his deceased mother.
Dobrynin's songs are performed by VIA with great success. Thanks to his songs, Olga Zarubina and Valentina Legkostupova became popular. The event that marked the beginning of his solo career occurred in nineteen eighty-six - Mikhail Boyarsky, who was supposed to perform one of Vyacheslav Dobrynin’s songs, was unable to come to the shooting of the musical program. The directors convinced the author to do it himself. It turned out well - the audience liked it. He traveled all over the country with solo concerts. Since nineteen ninety he has been working with the group “Doctor Hit”, which he created.
Personal life
The musician met his first wife Irina in 1974, whom he soon married. They were introduced by a school friend of Vyacheslav. In 1978, Dobrynin became a father, but after some time he left his family. According to him, because of the child it became impossible to work at home, so he was forced to leave. Soon the composer called his action selfish.
In 1984, Dobrynin fell in love again - with a girl also named Irina. He first met his future beloved at a football match of the Dynamo team, but Irina was so passionate about the game that she did not even notice the famous musician. The acquaintance happened a little later - at a party at a football club. For more than 13 years, Irina and Vyacheslav lived in a civil marriage, and only in 1998 they got married.
Vyacheslav’s daughter has lived in the USA since 1985. Ekaterina married a television cameraman and gave her father two beautiful grandchildren - Sasha and Sonya. Vyacheslav Dobrynin is very proud of his grandchildren, who often come to visit their famous grandfather in Russia.
