Natalya Rychagova: childhood years
The future star of Russian cinema was born in Moscow, a joyful event occurred in May 1945. Natalya Rychagova was born into the family of a housewife and a landscape artist, known in narrow circles. She was barely ten years old when she first appeared on the set. The artistic girl impressed director Ilya Frez, who was looking for an actress for his new film.
The film “Vasek Trubachev and His Comrades,” which tells about the life of Soviet schoolchildren in the pre-war years, became Rychagova’s debut. In this film she embodied the image of the funny and lively Nyura Sinitsyna. The film, released in 1955, was liked by the audience, which made the director soon think about filming a sequel. Two years later, Natalya again played the role of Nyura in the film “Trubachev’s Squad is Fighting”; the film was also a success with the audience.
Early fame of Natalia Rychagova
Natalya Rychagova became famous very early. The famous master of Soviet “school” cinema, Ilya Frez, found her, a ten-year-old girl, in an ordinary Moscow school. She was selected for the role of Nyura Sinitsyna in his film “Vasek Trubachev and His Comrades.”
A couple of years later, Natalya also starred in the sequel of the film and became the pride of her school. Her portrait hung in the foyer, although she was never an excellent student. It would seem that after this it was difficult to imagine any other path for her other than acting. Still, Rychagova doubted her choice until the last moment.

Although Natalya’s family had nothing to do with cinema, they were creative. Her father is the famous landscape artist Sergei Rychagov. The mother was not a celebrity, but she pushed her daughter to the decision to also connect her destiny with art, enrolling her in a theater studio. With such preparation, Rychagova then easily entered VGIK.
Choosing a life path
Surprisingly, the first successes did not turn the girl’s head; Natalya Rychagova still did not see herself as an actress. However, her mother insisted that her daughter begin studying at the theater studio at the House of Pioneers. Natasha was lucky with her teacher; it was Evgenia Galkina who helped her become seriously interested in the art of transformation.
By the time she graduated from school, Natalya Rychagova no longer doubted that she wanted to become an artist. It is not surprising that she decided to continue her education at the famous VGIK. Among Natalya’s classmates there were many future stars of Russian cinema, for example, Ekaterina Vasilyeva, Alexey Inzhevatov, Valery Ryzhakov, Arina Aleynikova.
Already in her second year, the girl again found herself on the set. She was offered a role in the film “No Unknown Soldiers,” the plot of which was borrowed from Rodimtsev’s work “Mashenka from the Mousetrap.”

Natalia Rychagova
The 12-year-old girl was far from choosing a profession, but her mother reasoned: if her daughter had not passed on the talent of her father, an artist, whose paintings are even in the Tretyakov Gallery, then let her try to find herself in cinema. The girl was enrolled in a theater studio.
