More than half a century ago, the public considered people with non-traditional sexual orientation to be sick or disabled. Medicine at that time treated this extremely “serious disease” in simply barbaric ways: people were fed pills containing a huge amount of hormones, which led to the fact that a person could forever lose sexual desire or simply grow breasts. But the world has come to a tolerant attitude towards homosexuality: now gays and lesbians in a number of modern countries can enter into same-sex marriages and adopt children, that is, their rights in relation to heterosexuals have been equalized. But in Russia the public still cannot come to terms with the fact that there are gays in the world. Homosexuals often have to hide their involvement with people with non-traditional sexual orientation. After reading this article, you can find out who the most famous gays in Russia are.
Boris Moiseev
Boris Moiseev
This man's name is often used by Russians to insult other people in whom they see the makings of homosexuality. Boris Moiseev himself has repeatedly admitted to the whole country that he adheres to less traditional views. Later he refuted all this, taking back his words. But the fact remains a fact - a certain, as it is now fashionable to say, coming out - out was present in his words. To describe the entire rich creative life of Moiseev, more than one biographical book will be needed: he danced, and in one of the most famous trios in the history of Russian show business, then Boris discovered his vocal abilities and became closely involved in his musical career, singing a duet with Lyudmila Gurchenko, Alla Pugacheva, but fame came to him after the hit “Blue Moon”, it was this composition that prompted many people to believe that Moiseev was still gay. Later he participated in a show on Muz-TV, which, at one time, was wildly popular. Now the artist is in search of his new self, after recently suffering a stroke.
Max Barskikh
The Ukrainian singer is popular among Russian viewers. There is no information about his affairs with girls. The exception was his unrequited love for Svetlana Loboda, which few believed. Many considered this a clever PR move. Max Barskikh is credited with an affair with producer and video director Alan Badoev, with whom he lived for some time.

Sergey Penkin
Sergey Penkin
A man with extraordinary vocal power and magnificent timbre burst onto the Russian stage with his unusual songs and elegant costumes. It was Sergei’s outfits, often shocking and not very clear to the average viewer, that made many people think about the singer’s sexuality. Penkin said many times in his interviews that he never had relationships with men and that he does not consider himself homosexual.
Roman Viktyuk
Roman Viktyuk
Roman Viktyuk, when he was a director, worked in one of the theaters in Moscow. The public has always had an ambivalent attitude towards his performances. The fact is that all the actors in his theater are men, and since the plays almost always contain people of both sexes, they had to play female roles, which often, when kissing on stage or depicting love between partners, put them in an unenviable position. Therefore, many questions always arose to the odious theater director about his sexual preferences. Viktyuk always denied everything.
Danila Kozlovsky
This actor is also very popular with journalists from tabloid newspapers, who spread rumors about the gayness of this or that star. To be honest, Danila himself periodically gives rise to these inventions.

The actor recently said that he is ready to defend freedom of sexual orientation, even if this contributes to rumors about his homosexuality. In 2009, Danila Kozlovsky starred in the “unconventional comedy” Veselchaki. He, by his own admission, easily mastered the “technology of female existence” by playing an actor in the travesty genre. There were even rumors that Kozlovsky was having an affair with Philip Kirkorov.
Fans of the actor who closely follow his personal life are sure that their idol is of traditional sexual orientation. There is no need to hide the fact that he “changes his companions like gloves.” Danila has already managed to divorce actress Urszula Magdalena Malki and break up with Yulia Snigir. Now Kozlovsky is passionate about model Olga Zueva.
Rudolf Nureyev
Rudolf Nureyev
Probably, this man is remembered in history more as the first Soviet person to admit his unusual views than as a dancer. The reason for such a significant conclusion was the unexpected emigration of Rudolf to France in the sixties of the last century. In the Soviet Union, people with unconventional views were very harshly punished, and it was because of this that the dancer had to leave his homeland forever. Nureyev died of AIDS in England; the artist fought the terrible virus for more than 10 years.
Pyotr Tchaikovsky
Pyotr Tchaikovsky
A great composer and master of his craft. Pyotr Ilyich's sexual preferences became known to the wider world after his death. In his diaries and letters to his brother, the author of great classical music often mentioned his “unhealthy attraction” to the male sex, stated that he had been to brothels and indulged in pleasures with men there. He understood that the public would condemn him and then turn away from him, so he had to carefully hide his views, but still, St. Petersburg society often whispered about Tchaikovsky’s adventures. The composer himself was ashamed of one incident that happened to him and his partner, the poet Apukhtin. In the restaurant, they did not take their eyes off each other all evening and held hands for a while, after which the journalists made a huge revealing extravaganza out of such a trifle.
Romanov Sergey
Romanov Sergey
An older relative, uncle, of the last Russian emperor, Nicholas 2, had predilections for members of his own sex. Despite the fact that many authoritative historians, having read Sergei’s diaries, believed that he led a same-sex sexual life, people of the Orthodox faith consider him almost an equal saint of the apostles, trying in every possible way to convince the Russian Orthodox Church to canonize him. Of course, it is difficult to trust opinions about a person you have never met, especially if they say strictly opposite things about him.
Sergey Drobotenko - gay?
Recently, a rumor spread through the capital’s social scene that the avid bachelor parodist Sergei Drobotenko had finally decided to get married. Nothing is known about the artist’s bride, except that she is, of course, a real beauty. “Only the Stars” called Drobotenko’s mother in Omsk to find out the details of the upcoming event. But instead she talked about the strange relationship between a parodist and... a priest!
Sergei Drobotenko has been making audiences tear their bellies with laughter at his comedy concerts for more than fifteen years. He will appear either in the form of a stupid colonel, or a concerned mother with many children, or a botanist student.
All these years, his most devoted fans, his mother Vetta Anatolyevna and his father Anatoly Fedorovich, have been following his son’s career. They have been living in Omsk for many years. Every visit of Sergei is a real holiday for them! On such days, Vetta Anatolyevna does not leave the stove from the very morning - she cooks goodies for her only son, and then sits by the window and waits for her Serezhenka to appear...
The news about the imminent marriage of the parodist clearly took the parent by surprise. At first the woman was silent for a long time, as if recovering from the shocking news. And then she said with difficulty:
– Is Serezhenka really getting married?
“The whole of Moscow is discussing this news,” I assured the artist’s mother. – Didn’t you know anything?
“Actually, no,” admitted Vetta Anatolyevna, and then, as if realizing that she had said too much, she hastily spoke: “Of course, my son told me that he was preparing for the wedding.” And I know his fiancee. Nice, sweet girl.
Something in this phrase seemed unusual to me. The parodist’s mother reacted painfully calmly to such good news. This is especially strange, considering that Sergei has been followed for many years by a trail of sticky rumors about his unconventional orientation...
Indeed, in all the years of work on the humorous front, Drobotenko was never seen in the company of women. Perhaps with Klara Novikova and Regina Dubovitskaya. But it’s somehow inappropriate to suspect these respectable ladies of having an affair with a young colleague. Sergei himself, perhaps on the advice of his older comrades, talks about some mysterious girl in every interview, but, like a real spy, he does not even reveal the name of his chosen one. It was this “closedness” in terms of his personal life that gave rise to rumors that the parodist is indifferent to women...
Then rumors leaked to the press about Drobotenko’s close friendship with Maxim Galkin. Apparently someone noticed the ambiguous glances the parodists cast at each other from under their sunglasses, how they smile when they meet, barely hiding their joy, and how one praises the other’s pumped up abs. Sergei and Maxim furiously made excuses, saying, how could you think such a thing about us!
Apparently, in order to regain his reputation as a ladies' man, Galkin hastened to take action. And after a couple of weeks he was spotted in a chic nightclub hugging a mysterious brunette. Drobotenko, in turn, began to talk in an interview about his beloved, with whom he has a long-term relationship. Soon they forgot about the close friendship of Galkin and Drobotenko, but, as they say, the sediment remained...
I decided to ask what the name of Sergei’s fiancee is. If a mother claims to know a girl, then she must know her name. No matter how it is! Instead of answering this simple question, Vetta Anatolyevna, noticeably nervous, began to get confused in her words.
“I think it’s Svetlana,” Drobotenko’s mother said hesitantly. - Oh, no, sorry, I mixed it up - Tatyana.
I decided to find out the truth to the end and asked:
– Vetta Anatolyevna, do you know your daughter-in-law?
“Yes, of course, that is, no,” answered the completely agitated woman. – Well, in general, Sergei promised to introduce us to each other soon. And yet, no, I haven’t seen her.
– Why did you say at the beginning of the conversation that you had already met her?
“Well, it’s just... I misunderstood you,” answered the parodist’s mother.
Apparently, Vetta Anatolyevna wants to create the illusion that everything is in order with her famous son’s personal life. And Sergei, in order to appease his parents and the press, simply invented a bride for himself! After all, until now the only girl Drobotenko known to the general public was... his kindergarten love named Alla. The parodist’s mother loves to talk about their adult romance, laughing.
– Yes, Allochka was Serezha’s first love. She was a very pretty girl, with long braids and big blue eyes. Her parents worked in the North, and Allochka’s grandmother took her to kindergarten. Probably just to see her, Seryozha always went to kindergarten with pleasure, while other children whined and were stubborn. The son was ready to break into pieces to please her. They were so friendly! And one day, when my son and I were leaving the kindergarten, he stopped and so seriously told me: “Mom, I will marry Allochka!” With difficulty holding back a smile, I said that I don’t mind, but first they need to grow up. Then fate scattered them. Unfortunately, I don’t know how Alla’s life turned out later.
– You probably want grandchildren?
- You're right, I really want to! – the star’s mother exclaimed passionately. “All my friends already have three granddaughters, but I can’t boast of anything yet.” I used to tell my son at every opportunity: “I want grandchildren!”, but now I’ve stopped. As it will be, so it will be...
– Who does Sergei meet when he comes to his hometown?
– He has few friends left in Omsk. Everyone left in all directions. When my son comes to us, he always visits his close friend, the priest Father Ilya. They have known each other since college. Together we came up with pranks and wrote scripts for the holidays. Seryozha is very kind to Ilya’s daughter Nastenka and brings her gifts all the time. Father Ilya is a man of few words, so don’t be surprised if he begins to be reluctant to answer your questions.
I called Drobotenko’s old friend, Father Ilya. He serves in one of the churches in Omsk, the parishioners love him very much. They say that real miracles often happen in the church: icons stream myrrh, and people who have lost all hope of recovery begin to feel better. A little girl answered the phone.
“My name is Nastya,” she politely introduced herself. - Uncle Seryozha? Of course I know him. He is very nice and often visits us. Dad often goes to visit him in Moscow. But he never takes me with him. Dad, they’re asking about Uncle Seryozha,” the girl said and handed the phone to her father.
“Good evening,” Father Ilya greeted dryly.
Having learned that I was writing about his student friend, the priest, oddly enough, became even more withdrawn.
– When did you meet Sergei? – I asked.
- At University. “We studied together,” my interlocutor answered barely audibly.
– Were you surprised when you found out that your friend became a famous comedian?
- No. He was always talented,” Ilya’s father’s voice noticeably warmed up.
– Father Ilya, did you know that Sergei is going to get married?
“No,” he answered after a long pause. - So, is he really getting married?
- Yes, that's what they say. Tell me, do you see him often?
– Sergey rarely comes to Omsk. We meet in Moscow when I am there on business. Sorry, I can't talk anymore. God bless you.
I retold our dialogue with Father Ilya to Mother Drobotenko. Vetta Anatolyevna was not surprised at the isolation of her son’s friend.
– Yes, Ilya doesn’t like to talk much. But believe me, he is Serezha’s closest friend. He has no one closer.
They say that at the Omsk Institute of Railway Transport Engineers, where Drobotenko and the future priest studied, their close communication was viewed with suspicion. But the young people managed to convince others that they simply had a strong male friendship. And nothing more.
– Vetta Anatolyevna, what about Maxim Galkin? Or does he no longer communicate with Sergei?
“My son doesn’t let me in on his affairs, but he once mentioned that he and Maxim rarely see each other. They mostly communicate by phone. Both have a lot of work to do. But Maxim remembers Seryozha and always invites him to his birthdays.
– Galkin said in one of his interviews that he started making everyone laugh and cracking jokes almost from the cradle. Did Sergei also show his talent as a parodist early?
- Oh yeah! The whole family gathered for his performances. Even the neighbors were invited. Seryozha adored Pugacheva and Zykina; he could sit at the player for hours and listen to their songs. Then he began to parody these singers. He approached this matter responsibly. First, I carefully painted my face. He took my lipstick, traced it around his lips, so neatly, it was a sight to behold, then he took out the blush. I even drew eyelashes on myself with a pencil. He put on my old beads, which he really liked. Then he took my dress from the closet, put it on himself and appeared in front of us in this form. We almost fell off our chairs laughing when he showed it to Pugachev. Well, it looks like it! And that's what! Neighbors in the communal apartment where the future famous parodist spent the first years of his life probably still remember his antics. The fact is that little Seryozha loved to perform. Usually they and the girls from neighboring apartments put on performances, which greatly amused their parents who were tired after work. But one day the girlfriends did not want Drobotenko to participate in the next number. Seryozha harbored a grudge and decided to take revenge. During the performance of the popular song “In Africa, the mountains are so high,” a little boy brought a huge knitting needle and, at the right moment, stuck it into the “soft spot” of one of the girls!
“But the phrase “A-a-a-a” was sung extremely emotionally,” the comedian recalls this funny episode with a smile.
And this is far from Drobotenko’s only trick. His mother says that as a child, the future parodist... loved to steal cherries!
“Not far from our house there was a hospital courtyard with a garden,” recalls Vetta Anatolyevna. “Of course, he was guarded by a watchman, but the children still managed to trick him and pick cherries from the trees. Seryozha was one of them. Thank God, my son was never caught, otherwise he would have suffered a lot. Serezha even wrote a story about this adventure of his, “How Oksanka and I picked cherries at the garden.”
By the way
Sergei Drobotenko is famous for his difficult character. He demonstrated it in full during a concert in the city of Yaroslavl. A parodist took up arms against journalists from a local television company. Allegedly because they began filming his performance without the consent of the comedian’s director.
Another artist would not have paid attention to this. But Drobotenko suspended the concert and asked the television crew to leave. The cameraman moved away from the stage and began filming at the door at the end of the hall. This was not enough for the satirist. Drobotenko left the stage, flew up to the taken aback operator, grabbed him by the chest and pushed him out the door.

The famous musician thought all his life that homosexuality was a disease. For a long time he wanted to get rid of his addiction: he resorted to electroshock therapy many times. He emigrated to America, where he started a family with a woman. But soon the marriage broke up.
Homosexuality is not a disease. These people have always existed and will exist in our society. Of course, you can treat them however you like, but it is important to remember what makes a person a person - the mind and the tolerance towards others that comes from it. Scientists have long proven that same-sex relationships exist in many species of animals; there is nothing reprehensible about this. We need to educate ourselves so that we don’t so easily offend innocent people.

Our country has never been known for its tolerance and tolerance, which is why many political and cultural stars live undercover. In public, they pretend to be exemplary family men, cauldrons, and ladies' men. They play romances with one or the other, post romantic pictures on social networks. However, on the other side of the ramp, women’s charms are not at all needed.
The names of those who love thicker, longer and more powerful ones were carefully collected into a single list and “merged” into the World Wide Web. Express Newspaper published several names, the presence of which on this list may come as a surprise to many.
Among male lovers, the publication names, for example, showman Andrei Malakhov. They say that the marriage of the “Live Broadcast” presenter with Natalya Shkuleva is fake, and the media mogul’s daughter has a real husband from another country. Neighbors of the star couple assure: Andrei and Natalya do not live together, but communicate exclusively on business matters.

The list of the sweetest includes 30-year-old singer Max Barskikh, who is crazy about 39-year-old producer Alan Badoev. Also here were Boris Korchevnikov, who works on the Orthodox TV channel, the father of KVN, Alexander Maslyakov, and singer Mitya Fomin.
