– For me, this is a combination of several elements, the main one of which is the soul of the party, its guests. How would you describe your ideal wedding?

– An ideal wedding for me is a revelation. Creating the right content and mood for the guests and, of course, for the couple, a place that can be both indoors and outdoors, which gives the right space to build the different stages of the wedding, so that each next one turns out to be a surprise, new energy and new experiences .

What is the main element of any holiday?

– I sincerely believe that every event has its own main element. If it is a wedding with a large number of guests, this may be the case, for example, where music, food and drink become a major part of the success of the event.

Do you have a large team? Who are all these people?

– We have a fairly compact and close-knit team that has been working together for many years, and we sincerely believe that this is the basis and success of our company, the secret of the highest quality of our work for a long time. Of course, for the event itself we hire contractors, their number and composition depends on the complexity and location, but in general, our core team can make the event literally turnkey, from A to Z. My team has 2 designers, 2 production managers, 1 manager in logistics, 1 warehouse manager, 1 administrator, general manager - my partner, and I - the founder and creative director of the company.

Where do you look for inspiration?

– These are design festivals, fairs and markets around the world – not event-based, but design-oriented, mostly interior-oriented. We, as a team, as an agency, try to participate in at least two. These are fashion shows and fashion weeks demonstrating trends in color palettes, shop windows, magazines, hotel and restaurant interiors and, of course, nature.

What's the most unusual wedding you've ever done?

– Here, for example, is the most recent, very recent wedding at the Cipriani restaurant on 42nd street in New York. We transformed a rather limited space 4 times during the evening so that, firstly, not to disturb the guests, and secondly, so that everything would be like a performance for them. We first converted the 400-seat ceremony hall into a main banquet room, which became a cocktail area, which was later transformed into a Moroccan-style nightclub.

Can you give universal advice to young people planning a wedding?

– I think that these 5-7 hours of the wedding should be spent wisely, and maximum attention and effort should be applied to its two parts: the ceremony and the party. Because the first one is about spirituality, and the second one is where guests spend the most time. And entertainment, music, food and drinks of the second part are the most important elements of success. Yes, although guests usually don't remember much about what they ate and drank at a wedding, the quality of food and drink should be of the highest possible quality. And perhaps most importantly, the couple should feel that their wedding is a pure reflection of their individuality, as unique as their fingerprints.

“You don’t have to choose a place that doesn’t fit your budget. How to understand this: always go from more to less. You need to determine a comfortable wedding budget and then highlight priorities - primary, secondary and tertiary expenses. Distribute the budget and look for a site only within the budget; if you don’t like everything, then increase the cost a little, while crossing out one equivalent tertiary expense from the estimate,” shares Anastasia Fedik.
