Working on television
Olga Parshina’s career path was varied and interesting:
- first there was an internship as a producer in the television program “Morning of Russia” (channel “Russia-1”);
- then Olga received the position of correspondent in television and radio;
- worked as an editor at;
- further – assistant editor-in-chief of the television program “Great Expectations” (on “Russia-1”);
- anchored news on the regional TV channel “Kvarts”.
Finally, fate brought her to the Zvezda channel, where she does what she loves - she forecasts the weather.
Parshina considers her current job her calling. She talks about the weather not only from the studio, but also outside, on the street, in any weather, and posts the resulting videos on the Internet.
Favorite hobbies of Olga Parshina
The stunningly beautiful weather presenter from the Zvezda TV channel has many hobbies. But even among them, she highlights studying and driving. The fact that Olga is an “eternal student” has long been no secret to her fans. For example, in 2021 she was able to receive her third diploma of higher education: the girl became a certified translator from English.
Olga Parshina during her studies
This is interesting: according to Olga herself, she was prompted to study English by one unpleasant incident that happened to her in her youth. She could not find a common language with the young man she liked. The reason is the language barrier: the guys simply did not understand each other.
Olga's learning a foreign language was difficult. She even jokingly called the learning process a “battle.” To cope with her unruly English, every evening, in addition to her main studies, she learned a dozen new words. The girl also regularly watched TV series and talk shows in English, and listened to English-speaking radio while traveling by car. Olga's determination and assertiveness yielded simply excellent results. She received her third higher education in two years, and she combined the study process with her main job.
Olga's second favorite hobby is driving a car. The girl got behind the wheel after constant persuasion from her mother. Olga remembered several bright moments from the learning process itself. This was her first training car, which was older than her. And her first independent drive, when she squeezed a “crazy” 70-75 km/h out of the car.
Olga Parshina driving
The girl has been driving her own car since 2013. For her, the stereotype about a woman driving is a stupid and untrue myth: Olga knows girls who drive a car much better than the average man. The girl also believes that the appearance of the car should match its owner: a man driving an Opel Astra will look comical, just like a woman driving a bulky Mitsubishi pickup truck.
Achievements and successes of the presenter
In addition to her main job, Olga Parshina is engaged in translations from English.
In 2013, the TV presenter joined the ranks of motorists, although previously she was afraid to drive a car and could not even think that she would get behind the wheel. Her mother encouraged her to study at a driving school. At first it was hard for Olga, she felt discomfort from the fact that they were overtaking her, trying to cut her off, that experienced drivers were shouting at her and getting irritated. But today the girl feels confident behind the wheel; the car has become an integral part of her life.

What is the beauty secret of Olga Parshina
Without exception, all fans and many envious people of the TV presenter note that the girl has a magnificent figure and she herself is endowed with natural feminine beauty. Haters claim that her beauty is the result of plastic surgery. Olga Parshina categorically disagrees with these accusations: her ideal body is the result of daily and hard work on herself.
Olga Parshina on vacation
Firstly, in terms of nutrition, she adheres to a special diet that was developed specifically for her. For example, every morning she starts with a glass of water with lemon, and during the day she drinks about three liters of liquid. The girl excluded fried, smoked and sausages from her diet. She also had to give up mayonnaise.
Secondly, she adheres to a healthy lifestyle. She does not smoke or abuse alcohol. One alcoholic cocktail at a party is the maximum that Olga can afford. In her opinion, you can enjoy life without intoxicating your body with alcohol.

Thirdly, the girl does sports and regularly visits the spa. Every morning she does mandatory exercises. According to Olga, it helps you feel cheerful even after a short sleep. However, Olga was not able to force herself to do exercises every morning right away. Spa treatments help her relieve the stress that accumulates from daily and routine work. And Olga has to work a lot: her schedule is irregular and often the girl has to participate in filming in the evening or at night.
Olga Parshina in the winter season
Another time-tested way to relieve stress is an annual vacation at sea. Olga tries to get out to sunny regions every year in the summer in order to have a good rest from interesting, but hard work.
Olga Parshina: my first car was older than me
The presenter of the Weather Forecast on the Zvezda TV channel, Olga Parshina, has never been passionate about the topic of driving, however, by decision of the family council, she graduated from a driving school and has been driving for several years. Olga is an exemplary driver: she does not violate traffic rules, finds a common language with traffic police officers, and could even marry one of them...

WEATHER FORECAST WITH OLGA PARSHINA (TV CHANNEL “STAR”).
-Olya, how long have you been driving a car? Are you comfortable in the driver's seat?
-I’ve been driving since April 2013, to be honest, I’ve never been passionate about the topic of driving, sending me to driving school was my mother’s sole decision - because: “Olya, it’s time.” I remember very well the feeling of my first trip to the city in a VAZ 2105 training car, which was older than me (smiles). At that very second, I felt like an extremely important participant in the road traffic and, instead of the required 60 km/h, I “flew” at a speed that at that moment seemed prohibitive - 70 km/h, or even all 75 (smiles).
At first, driving my own car on my own caused wild panic. I was incredibly afraid of disturbing someone and being scolded by experienced drivers. But after a year and a half, I started to feel quite comfortable behind the wheel, so my answer is “yes.” I like being behind the wheel.
-A lot of jokes have been made up about women who drive... Are you offended by this stereotype?
-The stereotype is generally true, I agree with this, but, as with everything, there are exceptions. I know a girl who drives more confidently than many men. And the actions of the stronger sex while driving sometimes cause bewilderment on my face (smiles).
-Do you agree that there are women's and men's cars?
-I agree (smiles). For example, a yellow Opel Astra is a typical girl’s car, but a Mitsubishi pickup truck is unlikely (smiles).
-What cars do you like?
-Sports sedans. When I was studying at a driving school, I dreamed of an Audi A5, it was the ultimate dream. Now there is no longer any ideal.
-Why?
-Because over time it constantly changes (laughs).
-For you, is a car a luxury or a means of transportation?
-The car is a 2 in 1, under a fortunate combination of circumstances (smiles).
-What model do you have? Do you change cars often?
-I wouldn’t say that I change it often. Now I have an Infiniti crossover.
-What criteria should your next car meet?
-I see my next car as beautiful, comfortable and giving driving pleasure.
-Which model will you not buy under any circumstances?
-Circumstances and goals are different, so I won’t promise.
-Do you like speed? Do you ever break the rules?
-I love speed when an experienced driver is behind the wheel, and I’m in the passenger seat. I myself prefer not to drive more than 100 km/h. I don’t break the rules, at least I try very hard.
-So you’ve never had problems with the traffic police?
-There was a funny situation a year ago - two days in a row in different places of the city I was stopped by the same traffic police officer. On the first day he asked for about 30 minutes about my health, leisure, personal life, etc. The next day, stopping me, he was so surprised by the second meeting that he said, “Olga Vladislavovna, well, if we meet a third time, we’ll go straight to the registry office.” There was no third time, so if the wedding that didn’t happen can be considered a problem, then yes (smiles).
-Do you like to travel by car? Have you ever driven abroad?
-I have never driven abroad. I don't have enough courage yet. I prefer to travel long distances not by car.
-How do you behave in a traffic jam?
-I humbly wait for it to resolve. I don’t freak out, I don’t swear, I enjoy the music and read messages on my phone.
-What will you do if your car breaks down in the middle of the road and there is no one around? Can you open the hood and figure out the problem?
-I was lucky until today, this has never happened to my car, so there is no answer to the question of what I will do. I can open the hood, but I’m unlikely to be able to try to figure it out... (smiles).
-Have you ever found yourself in unusual situations on the road?
-I was late for the final job interview - I rushed from the region to the very center, I was terribly worried and, as usually happens, a traffic police officer stopped me. Instead of presenting documents, he heard from me an emotional story about how important it is for me now not to waste a minute, otherwise I will miss my dream job, and he will be involved in all of this. (I don’t know why I mustered up such courage, it was all nerves (laughs)). He smiled and asked to somehow prove his words. He let me go after seeing an SMS about setting up an interview, and promised to remember my first and last name so that he could see it on the screen later.
-Olya, thank you very much for giving us your time! Your wish to car enthusiasts.
-High-quality road surface, no obstacles on the way and no emergency situations! And also good weather! (Smiles).
