“Rasa” is a mega-popular Russian duet, thanks to its “promotion” on YouTube. It consists of a bright blonde with model appearance - Daria Sheiko, and a brutal man - Viktor Popleev. The group was created in November 2021 and immediately attracted attention.
At the beginning of 2021, the team presented to the public their debut single, “Under the Lantern,” which gained millions of views on YouTube in a matter of months. The group performs songs in the style of hip-hop, pop and deep house.
The most interesting thing is that until 2021, the team members didn’t even know about each other. Dasha lived in Ukraine, studied at one of the universities in Dnepr, and in parallel with her studies, she won the titles of beauty queen at various competitions, even reaching “Miss Intercontinental”. Victor generally lived in the east of Russia, in Achinsk. Two young people at about the same time set out from different parts of the world to meet each other. True, they were traveling to Moscow, and each of the group members pursued their own goals, which had nothing to do with music.
In 2016-2017, Dasha from Dnepr and Victor from Achinsk began to conquer the capital one by one. They did not achieve fame, but in 2017 they met each other and got married. In 2021, they already performed together in concerts in different cities of Russia as part of the group “Rasa”. In 2021 they became stars of Russian show business.

It's no secret that Dasha and Victor are a married couple. The young people met in Moscow and got married in 2021. Previously, Daria lived in Gorlovka, where she went to school. After graduation, she came to Dnepr to enter university. In 2014, war began in Dasha’s hometown, Gorlovka, and her parents could not provide for their daughter. Daria was studying in Dnepr at that time and found a job in the modeling business.
Her husband, Viktor Popleev, was born in Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, into a simple family. I lived in this city for more than twenty years. Later the guy moved to Moscow.
Childhood and youth
Dasha was born in Gorlovka, Ukraine, in 1993. She went to school in this city. Daria has always been a bright and sociable girl. During my school years, I was involved in organizing holidays, at which I myself performed. After graduating from school, I went to Dnepr (formerly Dnepropetrovsk) to enter a university.
Daria was lucky enough to become a student at the University of Customs and Finance. During her student years, she took part in the Miss University competition and won it. After that, I received offers from various modeling agencies in the city. But she perceived modeling as a hobby. In parallel with her studies at the university, she studied at the ProFashion agency modeling school.
When the war began in Ukraine, and the parents could not send the girl money, her hobby turned into a profession. Dasha participated in various fashion shows, posed for magazines, and traveled to Moscow. In 2015, she received the opportunity to represent Ukraine at the international competition “Miss Intercontinenta”. At this competition, the girl took 15th place out of 63.
Victor was born in Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory in January 1994. The future artist spent his childhood in this city. Then there was study at a technical college and military service. At 22, Victor left Achinsk for Moscow.

Dasha Sheiko studied in Dnepr at the University of Customs and Finance in the budget department. I was going to become a customs lawyer. True, during my student years I got into the modeling business. At first, I perceived modeling work as a hobby. After school, Victor studied at a technical college. At the age of 18 he left to serve in the army. After the service, he returned to Achinsk, worked, and in 2016 he left for the capital.

Victor Popleev was born on January 31, 1994 in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the city of Achinsk. The guy spent his entire childhood in this small town. There he received secondary specialized technical education and served in the army. In 2008, I realized that I wanted to devote myself entirely to creativity, namely, to try my hand at the musical field. As Victor admitted, he always dreamed of popularity and universal recognition. In 2021, the guy moved to the capital and firmly decided to pursue his goal, despite the difficulties. At the same time he created a personal blog called “Province in the Capital”. In it, he talked about moving to Moscow, about the features of life in the center of a concentration of chic and luxury. But after some time, he stopped blogging due to lack of time, which was required a lot to create quality content.
Thanks to determination and perseverance, in 2021 Victor opened his own recording studio called “RASA MUSIC”. There he helps young artists get promoted and get on the radio.
Moscow gave the young man not only the opportunity to realize his lifelong dream, but also love. Here he met his future wife Daria. The girl also comes from the province - from Gorlovka, in the Donetsk region in Ukraine. Until 2021, the guys had no idea about each other’s existence.

The duet "Rasa" has existed for only two years. During this time, the group became famous throughout the country and acquired an army of millions of fans. At the end of December 2021, the members released the mini-album “PRIDE”, consisting of 7 tracks. The hit “Under the Lantern” was ranked 28th on “TopHit YouTube” in the “Top Year-End Hits” category and received an award from “New Radio”.
The most viral song heard on many radio broadcasts in 2021 was the song “Beekeeper”. The group was nominated for the “RU.TV Award” in the “Powerful Start” category.

Currently, the RASA duet is very popular among young people. Not long ago, a new song “Supermodel” was released in collaboration with VSEGDA17 and a video for it, similar to a live broadcast of a ride in a car. Fans undoubtedly liked this video format, which can be seen in the comments to the publication dedicated to this song in the official VKontakte group. The content of the group is handled by the artists themselves, as well as their assistants. Guys often hold competitions for likes for fulfilling very simple conditions. RASA releases songs in collaboration with famous artists such as Kavabanga, Depo, Kolibri. Now fans of RASA’s work are looking forward to the release of the new song “Beekeeper”. The group conducts tours with concerts in Russian cities. As for reference points in music, both Dasha and Victor consider the West to be their ideal. The young man considers the group Imagine Dragons to be his idols; according to him, these people inspire him. For his wife, her idols are Rihanna, Cardi B, Beyoncé and Adele.

The group “Rasa” confidently conquered the musical Olympus of Russia in 2018-2019. The team's YouTube channel has only 23 videos and 1.2 million subscribers. On Dasha Sheiko’s Instagram (335 thousand followers) there are several photographs taken during concerts. Judging by the photographs, the group gathered entire stadiums of fans for their performances.
