Today he admits that he returned from the army a different person, his life was divided into “before” and “after”:
“I suddenly find myself on a ship where people have nothing to do with poetry. The Navy ground me, made me stronger, helped me change my perspective on many things.”
After serving in the army, the future famous journalist returned to Moscow. From 1990 to 1993, his professional biography was chaotic and searching for himself. For some time he worked as an electrician at a television center, and later entered two universities at once - the faculties of construction and sociology.
