« Girls

"is a Russian musical group founded in 1999 by producer Igor Matvienko and composer Andrei Zuev.

Story

Out of several hundred girls at the casting, four were selected for the group. They were Valya Rubtsova, Tanya Gerasimova, Lipa Teterich and Ira Dubtsova.

“Girls” made a name for themselves with the humorous song “I Want to Be a Bird,” which was taken too seriously by music critics. However, already in 2000, the song “Mom Spoke (U-la-la)” was a great success, and the video, directed by Maxim Osadchiy, took 13th place in the top 100 videos of MTV Russia 2000.

Introducing the group at the “Baby Riot” festival vj MTV, Alexander Anatolyevich said: “This is the most frivolous group!” In 2001, Ira Dubtsova left the group. The producers did not look for a replacement for her and the team continued to exist as a trio. In the summer of 2002, the single “After all, I’m so beautiful today” was released, followed by the debut album “Don’t Ju-Ju.” The record was released in June 2002 and consisted mainly of songs by Andrei Zuev - some of them were recorded with vocals by Irina Dubtsova.[1]. In the fall of 2002, the Star Factory project was launched on Channel One, the music producer of which was Igor Matvienko. Due to the fact that after the completion of the project, Igor Matvienko’s production center was replenished with several new artists, the producer did not have time to engage in the work of “Girls”. However, the group continued to perform, and in 2003 they performed at the Bomb of the Year festival with the song “Island of Love”. In the fall of 2003 it ceased to exist.

According to group member Tanya Gerasimova:

We decided with “Girls” that, having such competitors as “VIA Gra”, “Brilliant”, we are losing a little. We didn't have such open suits. And we were very embarrassed to wear such things, so our prospects were not bright. We decided not to delay and just move on to other things. For example, television”…[2].

In 2010, the members of the group were present in full force at the anniversary of Igor Matvienko[3]. And in 2015 we visited the Let Them Talk studio. The issue was dedicated to Irina Dubtsova’s birthday, thanks to which the group reunited for a few minutes.

Members of the team

Every Moscow producer on the threshold of a new era, inspired by the popularity of world-famous youth groups, sought to create his own, operating at least within the country. Some succeeded, others turned into fly-by-night bands, recording a maximum of a few compositions.

In 1999, the idea of creating a girl group was decided to be implemented by a talented and respected Moscow composer and producer, Igor Matvienko. Out of hundreds of applicants, he chose only four. These were young, carefree and very cheerful girls with a pleasant appearance and good vocal abilities. The team received the appropriate name – “Girls”.

Excerpt characterizing Girls (group)

- Look, Anisyushka, are the strings intact or something on the guitar? I haven’t picked it up for a long time - it’s pure marching! abandoned. Anisya Fedorovna willingly went with her light tread to carry out her master’s instructions and brought a guitar. The uncle blew off the dust without looking at anyone, tapped the lid of the guitar with his bony fingers, tuned it and adjusted himself in the chair. He took (with a somewhat theatrical gesture, placing the elbow of his left hand) the guitar above the neck and, winking at Anisya Fedorovna, began not the Lady, but struck one sonorous, clean chord, and measuredly, calmly, but firmly began to finish the famous song at a very quiet pace: Po li and ice pavement. At the same time, in time with that sedate joy (the same one that Anisya Fedorovna’s whole being breathed), the motive of the song began to sing in the souls of Nikolai and Natasha. Anisya Fedorovna blushed and, covering herself with a handkerchief, left the room laughing. Uncle continued to finish the song cleanly, diligently and energetically, looking with a changed, inspired look at the place from which Anisya Fedorovna had left. There was just a little something laughing in his face on one side, under his gray mustache, and he laughed especially when the song progressed further, the beat quickened, and something came off in places where it was too loud. - Lovely, lovely, uncle; more, more,” Natasha screamed as soon as he finished. She jumped up from her seat, hugged her uncle and kissed him. - Nikolenka, Nikolenka! - she said, looking back at her brother and as if asking him: what is this? Nikolai also really liked his uncle’s playing. The uncle played the song a second time. The smiling face of Anisya Feodorovna appeared again at the door and from behind her there were still other faces... “Behind the cold key, she shouts: girl, wait!” Uncle played, made another deft move, tore it off and moved his shoulders. “Well, well, my dear, uncle,” Natasha moaned in such a pleading voice, as if her life depended on it. The uncle stood up and it was as if there were two people in him - one of them smiled seriously at the merry fellow, and the merry fellow made a naive and neat prank before the dance. - Well, niece! - the uncle shouted, waving his hand towards Natasha, tearing off the chord. Natasha threw off the scarf that was draped over her, ran ahead of her uncle and, putting her hands on her hips, made a movement with her shoulders and stood. Where, how, when did this countess, raised by a French emigrant, suck into herself from that Russian air that she breathed, this spirit, where did she get these techniques that pas de chale should have long ago been supplanted? But these spirits and techniques were the same, inimitable, unstudied, Russian ones that her uncle expected from her. As soon as she stood up and smiled solemnly, proudly and slyly with gaiety, the first fear that gripped Nikolai and everyone present, the fear that she would do the wrong thing, passed and they were already admiring her. She did the same thing and did it so precisely, so completely accurately that Anisya Fedorovna, who immediately handed her the scarf she needed for her business, burst into tears through laughter, looking at this thin, graceful, so alien to her, well-bred countess in silk and velvet. , who knew how to understand everything that was in Anisya, and in Anisya’s father, and in her aunt, and in her mother, and in every Russian person. “Well, the countess is a pure march,” the uncle said, laughing joyfully, having finished the dance. - Oh yes niece! If only you could choose a good guy for your hubby, it’s pure business! “It’s already been chosen,” Nikolai said, smiling. - ABOUT? - the uncle said in surprise, looking questioningly at Natasha. Natasha nodded her head affirmatively with a happy smile. - What a great one! - she said. But as soon as she said this, another, new system of thoughts and feelings arose in her. What did Nikolai’s smile mean when he said: “already chosen”? Is he happy about this or not? He seems to think that my Bolkonsky would not approve, would not understand this joy of ours. No, he would understand everything. Where is he now? Natasha thought and her face suddenly became serious. But this only lasted for one second. “Don’t think, don’t dare think about it,” she said to herself and, smiling, sat down next to her uncle again, asking him to play something else.

Childhood and youth

Valentina Pavlovna Rubtsova was born in October 1977 in the city of Makeevka, Donetsk region, into a large family raising five children. Vali's dad worked in a mine, his mother was first a teacher at a school for the deaf and dumb, and then went to work at the police department. The girl’s mother and grandfather were involved in art. Grandfather worked as the chief director at a local amateur theater. Valya’s mother once tried her hand at the stage of the same theater.

To become a popular artist was Valentina Rubtsova’s cherished dream. The girl gave her first “concerts” in the courtyard of her house at the age of 3. Moreover, they were quite diverse: songs, skits, pantomimes, acrobatic performances. Neighbors from all over the yard came to listen and see the amazing girl. Even in kindergarten, the artistic little girl was respectfully called Valentina Pavlovna.

From the first grade of school, Valentina attended the Makeevka Theater Studio. The actress remembers teacher Alexander Kozachk with warmth. He taught his students to overcome fears, control themselves on stage and achieve their goals.

Another hobby of the young artist was gymnastics. Rubtsova fulfilled the candidate standard for master of sports. In the 9th grade, during the holidays, Valentina and her grandmother went on a “reconnaissance” trip to the capital. The girl immediately liked Moscow. Since then, she couldn’t wait to graduate from school and move to the metropolis she liked. But fate decreed otherwise.

A day after her school graduation, Rubtsova was in a car accident. The trip to Moscow was postponed indefinitely. But the talented girl, as soon as she recovered, was immediately hired by the Donetsk Regional Youth Theater. For almost a year, Valentina has played many roles on this stage.

In 1996, Rubtsova’s dream came true - she entered GITIS, choosing an acting course. But the joy of admission was overshadowed by the message from one of the teachers that the training would be paid. A large family did not have the required amount of money. And Valya began searching for sponsors. The girl collected diplomas, newspaper clippings, certificates for many years and went to city organizations, trying to find patrons of the arts. But there were no people willing to help.

Mom told the head of the Makeevsky Department of Internal Affairs, Pyotr Dyachenko, about these Valya’s ordeals. He himself is a father of many children. This is probably why he was so imbued with the girl’s problems that he gave her money for her studies from his personal savings.

IRINA DUBTSOVA

Irina Dubtsova managed to get into the mega-popular project “Star Factory”, where she not only declared herself as a solo performer, but also won the victory. There, the artist first performed a song of her own composition, “About Him.” She continued to develop her poetic gift later - she wrote many songs for herself and other artists that became hits. In the transformation show “Exactly” on Channel One, Irina won the hearts of the audience and the jury and took first place. And last year, the star gave a solo concert at the Crocus City Hall, which attracted over 6,000 spectators.

Irina Dubtsova was credited with having affairs with some representatives of show business, but she was married only once. The artist’s marriage to Plazma group member Roman Chernitsyn lasted four years. In 2006, the couple had a son, Artem.

Movies

The cinematic biography of Valentina Rubtsova, like most of her colleagues, began with episodic roles. At one of the auditions, the artist met the famous director Tigran Keosayan. Today Rubtsova considers Tigran Edmondovich her “godfather” in cinema. It was he who offered Valentina her first role in the popular film “Silver Lily of the Valley - 2”.

Soon followed by episodic roles in the TV series “Airport”, “Viola Tarakanova. In the world of criminal passions - 2” and “Who’s the boss?”, but they did not bring popularity to the actress.

Since 2006, Valentina Rubtsova began appearing in television shows. First she was invited to the program “Thank God you came!” STS channel. Then the already popular artist began acting in the Channel One entertainment program “Big Difference.” In this program, Rubtsova appeared in the role of a parodist.

All-Russian success and recognition came to Valentina Rubtsova with her appearance in the TV series “Univer”, where she played Tanya Arkhipova. And again a happy accident. At the birthday party of her friend, singer Sati Casanova, Valentina met Garik Martirosyan. He invited her to try her hand at a new series.

Rubtsova passed the audition and was hired for the role of Tanya Arkhipova. Now it’s hard to even imagine that another actress could play this role.

In “Univer,” Rubtsova portrays the sensible and serious girl of Sasha, played by actor Andrei Gaidulyan. Other members of the cast also became famous - Vitaly Gogunsky, Maria Kozhevnikova, Ararat Keshchyan, Alexey Klimushkin, Alexey Lemar, Stanislav Yarushin.

The project was popular, so after its completion a sequel, “Univer. New dorm." New characters appeared in this film, played by Anna Kuzina, Nastasya Samburskaya, Anna Khilkevich, Natalya Rudova, Elena Valyushkina. As for the couple Rubtsova and Gaidulyan, they were one of the few left in the film, but now, according to the plot, they no longer lived with friends, but in a separate apartment.

Over time, the story about the family life of yesterday’s students grew into a separate series “SashaTanya”.

TATYANA GERASIMOVA

In the “Girls” group, Tatyana Gerasimova was in the foreground. Many even believed that over time she would become the main vocalist of the group, and, perhaps, begin a solo career. Life decreed differently. In 2005, Tatyana replaced Dana Borisova as host of the “Army Store” program. During this time, the star visited many hot spots, communicated with defenders of the homeland in training grounds and units. Men in uniform dote on her. When Maxim magazine came out in 2015 with an erotic photo shoot of Gerasimova, the circulation was sold out in a matter of days.

Tatyana prefers to keep the details of her personal life secret.

Personal life

Valentina’s personal life is the actress’s least favorite topic of conversation. Therefore, little is known about her. Valentina and her future husband were brought together by chance.

One day, Rubtsova, the lead singer of the group “Girls,” was invited to the premiere of the film “From Hell.” Unlike other invited representatives of the fair sex, who dressed up like they were on the catwalk, Rubtsova came in a tracksuit. This intrigued businessman Arthur Martirosyan. His friend, “red-haired Ivanushka,” introduced Arthur to an unusual girl. The couple began an affair, which ended in marriage in the 8th year. Only in 2009 did the official wedding take place. In 2011, Arthur and Valentina had a daughter, Sophia. The actress's boyfriend is 10 years older than his wife.

Now Valya’s parents live with Valentina and Arthur’s family, and they help raise little Sophia. Rubtsova and Martirosyan insisted on their move from Makeevka to Moscow in connection with the events in Donbass.

The artist lives in 2 cities. Moscow remains for her the city in which she works. Valentina spends her free time in Sochi with her husband and daughter. Many of Arthur’s relatives live at the resort. Sofia is also delighted with the sunny city and the proximity of the sea and mountains, and in 2021 the girl went to 1st grade here. The couple preferred a regular Sochi school rather than a private institution.

It is known that Rubtsova is a vegetarian, she leads a healthy lifestyle, does yoga and visits a fitness club. Many viewers simply do not believe that the actress is much older than her heroine Tanya Arkhipova. In addition, the artist never ceases to amaze fans of her work with photographs in which she appears in a swimsuit. There are many such photos on Valentina’s Instagram.

LIPA TETERICH

Olympics Teterich received such an unusual name due to the fact that she was born in 1980, when the Olympic Games were held in Moscow. After the girl gained fame, she took the creative pseudonym Lipa. After the group “Girls” ceased to exist, the singer went into journalism. She got a job as a DJ on Dynamite FM radio, and soon moved to television. Lipa won the love of the audience as a Muz-TV VJ. However, the exploration of new horizons for the star did not end there. She recently decided to become a professional artist. Lipa's long-time passion for drawing grew into an intention to get a second higher education in the field of art.

Valentina Rubtsova now

The main project in which Rubtsova participates is still the series “SashaTanya”. In the 4th season of 2021, the film spouses celebrated a tin wedding. As the actress notes, she has developed a warm and friendly relationship with her film husband, which only helps in her work. The 5th season of the sitcom, which is announced as the final one, is scheduled to be shown in 2021.

In addition to her acting career, Valentina occasionally appears at social events. In the fall, the artist attended the presentation of Zhanna Levina-Martirosyan’s book “The Diary of a Humorist’s Wife.” Previously, she starred in Denis Klyaver’s video “When You Get Big,” which was shown on Mother’s Day. Other celebrity mothers appeared in the video: Lera Kudryavtseva, Albina Dzhanabaeva, Yulia Baranovskaya, Natasha Koroleva, Natalya Podolskaya.
