Childhood and family
Kirill was born in Tallinn on February 24, 1975 (typically, this is Estonia's Independence Day), into a friendly international family.
Father, Valery Kyaro, is half Estonian, a long-distance navigator. His mother, Russian, worked as a kindergarten teacher. Kirill has an older brother who followed in his father’s footsteps and became a sailor. The actor spent the summer with his grandmother, in border Narva. Almost all of my father’s and mother’s relatives devoted their lives to farming, fishing or sailing, but among them there is one actor, and an Honored Artist of Estonia. This is our hero’s cousin, Valdemar Kyaro, whom Kirill first met after graduating from theater school. As a child, Kirill dreamed of the sea and long journeys, often visited his father on the ship and studied at the Tallinn Young Sailors Club. At the same time, he attended a martial arts school and sang in the Cantilena children's choir. Although the boy did not have outstanding vocal abilities, he willingly performed in the choir. Most of all, he liked to travel with his team on trips abroad and discover new countries.
Kirill Kyaro in childhood
It was not easy for the mother to raise her sons alone, because her husband was on flights almost all the time. Therefore, she tried to load her sons with extracurricular activities in order to direct their energy in the right direction and protect them from the negative influence of the street. Despite this, the boys still periodically gave her surprises, coming home with bruises and abrasions.
At Tallinn school No. 12, Kirill was not very successful - he studied reluctantly, often played truant, and wrote bad marks and comments on his behavior in his diary. But the educational institution had a huge collection of musical instruments and an ideological singing teacher who put together his own group, in which Kirill also played. Although he did not become a rock musician, his musical skills came in handy when he entered theater school.
Kirill Kyaro: about childhood, choice of profession and first successes In high school, his father suggested that he enroll in a theater studio at the Russian Drama Theater in Estonia in order to change his social circle, develop conversational speech and become more sociable. At first, Kirill did not take his studies at acting school seriously, but over time he got involved and became truly interested in theater. He was lucky both with his fellow students and with the teachers who opened the door to him into the magical world of dramatic art. By the end of the tenth grade, he no longer had any doubts about his choice of future profession, and he began to intensively prepare for admission to a theater university.
It was decided to go to Moscow, since Kirill’s native language is Russian, and he planned to work in Russian theaters, of which there were not so many in Estonia. The first attempt to conquer the capital's universities ended in failure, but Kyaro was not upset and returned to Tallinn to properly prepare for the next year. In 1993, the young man, without any problems, managed to enter the Shchukin Theater School (workshop of Marina Aleksandrovna Panteleeva), where his fellow students were Maria Poroshina, Olga Budina, Anton Makarsky and Maxim Averin.
Kirill Kyaro in his youth
At that time, living in Moscow was quite difficult - devastation reigned in the country, there was not enough money, and there was neither time nor opportunity to earn it. He had to get out in different ways - once Kirill even volunteered to be a guide for the Korean delegation that came to visit one of his comrades. But it was very interesting to study, a special atmosphere reigned in Shchuk, teachers and students were immersed in creativity and paid little attention to what was happening outside the walls of the school.
The beginning of a theatrical career
In his last year, during one of his creative shows, Kyaro caught the eye of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, who invited the aspiring actor to his theater. Kirill worked there for two years and, faced with the harsh reality of Moscow and the lack of serious roles, lost a little confidence in his abilities.
Kirill Käro served in the Estonian theater for several years
In 1999, he returned to Tallinn and got a job at the Russian Drama Theater, where he served for five years. But he did not lose contact with Moscow, internally understanding that sooner or later he would return to the capital.

And so it happened - in 2004, the Estonian theater was closed for renovation, and at the same time Anton Makarsky invited Kirill to participate in an interesting project - to stage their graduation performance "Arshin-Mal-Alan" on the stage of the Vakhtangov Theater. Kyaro gladly accepted the invitation, besides, he had a visa and nothing prevented him from returning to Moscow again.
Theater
Kirill received a diploma from the Shchukin School in 1997. The Armen Dzhigarkhanyan Theater opened its doors to a promising graduate. The young man devoted about two years to serving in this theater. The actor still feels a sense of gratitude to Armen Borisovich; this man helped him take his first steps in his chosen profession.
The biography of actor Kirill Kyaro indicates that in 1999 he decided to take an action that surprised all his friends. The young man returned to his native Tallinn. There are several reasons that prompted him to move. The main one is that Kirill is tired of the bustle of Moscow. He realized that he did not yet feel ready for life in a metropolis.
In the same year, the aspiring actor joined the creative team of the Russian Theater of Estonia. He devoted about five years to serving in this theater.
First film roles

Shooting in an advertisement for Whiskas cat food turned out to be a good financial help. The video was bought by several countries, and Kirill, although he lost out in the audience's attention to the charming tabby cat, received good dividends from it for quite a long time. Young Kirill Kyaro in an advertisement for Whiskas In 2002, the actor made his film debut, starring in the short film Deliverance by Estonian director Hendrik Toompere Jr. Kirill appeared in the role of a Russian bandit. Subsequently, the director helped the aspiring actor more than once, giving him work in commercials, which Kyaro approached creatively each time. But the actor made his main bet on cinema - he visited film studios with enviable regularity and did not miss a single casting in the hope of getting a serious role. But they didn’t offer him anything worthwhile, and our hero had to be content with tiny episodes in low-budget TV series. Russian viewers learned about Kirill thanks to the series “Deadly Force.” In 2002, the creators of the project decided to film several episodes (specifically, “Brotherhood in Arms”) in Tallinn and Narva. Thanks to a casting assistant, whose name Kirill, alas, no longer remembers, he got a small role as a weapons salesman named Garik. Although his character was again a stereotypical bandit, the actor not only met Konstantin Khabensky and Mikhail Porechenkov, but also received a lucky ticket to Russian cinema.

The turning point was Kyaro’s participation in the series “Liquidation” (2007), in which director Sergei Ursulyak assembled a whole constellation of domestic actors (Vladimir Mashkov, Ksenia Rappoport, Sergei Makovetsky, Mikhail Porechenkov, already familiar to Kirill, and many others). Kirill Kyaro in “Liquidation” Kirill got the minor role of Shekhtel’s nephew, but he played it very brightly and professionally and managed not to get lost among his famous partners.

After the resounding success of “Liquidation,” Kirill no longer experienced a shortage of work and over the next five years starred in forty projects. But their quality left much to be desired, and even the main roles in the films “Gone and Didn’t Return” (2011), “Rage” (2011), “Lectures for Housewives” (2012) and “All Over again” (2013) did not bring him widespread success. popularity.

From obscurity to fame

Kirill began actively acting in films and TV series after returning to Moscow. He played a small role in the comedy detective series “Girls”, played the arms dealer Garik in the sixth season of “Deadly Force”, and starred in an episode of the series “Law and Order: Division of Operational Investigations”.

Kirill's hero, nicknamed the Sniffer, has such a keen sense of smell that he can compete with Jean-Baptiste Grenouille from Perfume. But his gift has a downside - the brilliant detective is doomed to loneliness. Series "The Sniffer". The scene on the plane The work was not easy for the actor - the on-screen character turned out to be his complete opposite in temperament, lifestyle and inner worldview. After the success of the series, Kyaro began to be recognized on the streets, and the actor himself loved the Sniffer’s clothing style so much that he changed his unremarkable outfits to formal suits with a tie and elegant coats. And in response to the constant question from journalists about what smells Kirill likes in real life, the actor joked: “Simple ones. The smells of the village, hay. Feta cheese smells good in Greece... In general, I love the smell of milk mixed with manure!” Filming of the fourth season of “The Sniffer” The series was a great success in Ukraine and Russia and became the most popular television project of 2013. A series of this kind about a person with superpowers was easily accepted by the viewer. The most difficult thing for Kirill in all the episodes of “The Sniffer” was not to smile even once. According to the actor himself, it was very interesting to work on this role; it was interesting to be in the shoes of a person with superpowers, who is always alone, living in sterile conditions so as not to be distracted by extraneous matters. By smell, he can tell everything about a person: who he saw today, what he ate for lunch. Kyaro was convincing, played with talent, revealed a new side, once again showing his versatility. Scandals began in the family, and even the mother-in-law added fuel to the fire. As a result, the marriage lasted only six months, and soon after the divorce, Kyaro went back to Estonia. Nastya experienced a breakup with her beloved man for a long time and even left his last name, despite the fact that she got married a second time and gave birth to three children in her new marriage.
Returning from Moscow to Tallinn, Kirill met Yulia Duz, who worked in the PR agency of the Russian Theater of Estonia. Julia became a breath of fresh air for the actor and helped him believe in himself again. The girl shared many difficult moments with her beloved and was always ready to support him with a kind word and wise advice.

When Kyaro went to conquer the capital for the second time, Julia dropped everything and went with him. In Moscow, the girl did not sit idle - she took up photography and making designer ceramics. Many of her works now decorate a large country house, which Kirill was able to buy thanks to his participation in “The Sniffer” and other successful projects. On December 21, 2021, a joyful event occurred in the lives of Kirill and Yulia - they became the parents of a lovely baby Mira. The actor admits that he had long been ready to have a child, but had no idea what it meant to experience the joy of fatherhood. In recent interviews, he happily talks about his baby, who now lives with her mother and her parents in Tallinn. Despite his busy work schedule, Kirill flies to Estonia at every opportunity to spend time with his adored daughter.

Kirill and Yulia take Venya on all their trips, even to the ski resorts that they both love so much. And with the birth of the child, the dog turned into the best nanny in the world, and the young mother can safely entrust Mira to her shaggy assistant.

Despite such a family idyll, Kirill and Yulia are not officially married, but consider their daughter’s birth certificate, which contains their last names, to be their main document.
Personal life
If the directors did not immediately pay attention to the charming Kirill, then the audience remembered the actor immediately after he got a more or less significant role. Since then, the forums of all the series in which Kyaro starred are full of declarations of love, comments, phone numbers and photographs of fans.
But Kirill has a beloved girl, Julia. She is also from Estonia, a creative person, a photographer by profession. They have been together for many years, Yulia is a wonderful, talented, interesting and listening person. Largely thanks to her, Kyaro’s second visit to Moscow was successful. She supported him in everyday things, in the right words, and simply in the fact that she gave him the feeling that Kirill was not alone here.
