Luxurious mansion: where Pugacheva and Galkin lived before moving to their famous castle

Moving to a mansion

On Filippovsky Lane, the Prima Donna owned a five-room apartment.

The celebrity's ex-son-in-law, the second common-law husband of Kristina Orbakaite, Chechen businessman Ruslan Baysarov, gave the luxury real estate to the celebrity. It was in these apartments that Pugacheva and Galkin initially settled. More precisely, it was Maxim who moved in with the Diva when they started dating.

Alla Borisovna also owned a house right on the shore of the Istra Reservoir. This is not a gift from a son-in-law or a loved one: the singer earned it herself. The house was purchased by Diva in 1991 and became special to her.

After all, it was here that she created, was inspired by picturesque landscapes when she wrote songs. Pugacheva and Galkin moved here while they were building a family nest in the village of Gryaz.

Castle interior

The interior decoration of the room is no less luxurious than the exterior of the building. The interior also follows the style of the Victorian era, which makes the room similar to real medieval castles.

Despite the antiquity of the interior decoration, the most modern technology betrays the current era.

Let's talk more about the rooms:

  • The palace has twenty rooms, among which there is its own cinema hall, swimming pool, and storage rooms.
  • In the front room there is a chandelier similar to those located in the door of Nicholas II, which was custom-made from expensive glass. There is an oak table in the center of the room, the walls are covered with wallpaper with a fleur-de-lis pattern, and the ceiling height is a full four meters.
  • The Diva's bedroom is made in delicate cream shades. The floor is made of rosewood and the bathroom is made of Italian marble.
  • In the showman's personal office, the design is also in Victorian style: chairs with leopard upholstery, an oak table, and a chair made of genuine leather.
  • The pool where Liza Galkina swims deserves special attention, its furnishings reminiscent of oriental motifs.
  • In the tallest tower of the castle there is an observatory, where there is a huge variety of astronomical devices.

It’s not for nothing that the star couple’s house is called a castle, because the structure amazes with its luxurious appearance.

The grounds of the mansion are no less impressive than those of the current castle. Judging by the photographs that were taken from a bird's eye view, there was a barn, a gazebo, a three-story house, a bathhouse, and a garage. A separate special bridge led to Istra, so the artist had the opportunity to swim in the river.

The prima donna was not too fond of showing this mansion to journalists. Only the closest people were included here. And yet, one day the artist made an exception to the rule. These shots are the only ones by which one can judge the situation in the house.

What's outside?

The exterior of the house of the Diva and her chosen one attracts attention. The area adjacent to the castle is 3 thousand square meters. Of these, one hectare is allocated for housing. The estate was built six stories high. An elevator is provided to move between floors. The house is not the only thing that lovers have in their possession. The area includes underground parking, a private greenhouse and a swimming pool located in a separate building. There is a servant's house and a winter garden. Not long ago, the public learned that the owners even thought out a system of secret passages. There are two wings. One is for owners, the other is for guests. The design solution is to follow Victorian classics.

Living room and kitchen

The living room occupies two floors at once, so it appears very spacious and majestic. Apparently, even then Alla Borisovna gravitated toward castles. Furniture includes comfortable sofas, armchairs, and a piano. There was also a separate rocking chair. The decoration included all kinds of figurines, paintings and portraits hung on the walls. To create coziness, the hostess put a carpet on the floor.

On the ground floor there was a kitchen in a rather minimalist style. This is not surprising, since the Diva lived here alone at first, and then Maxim Galkin joined her.

One small dining table was enough for the couple. Well, when guests came, a large table was brought out for them.

Diva's Residences

Let's briefly go over the main places of residence of the famous performer, where she has lived since the onset of popularity.

1. Apartment at the intersection of 4th Novokuzminskaya and Academician Scriabin - here the Prima Donna lived in 1972-1974 with her first husband Mykolas Orbakas.

2. One-room apartment on Veshnyakovskaya Street - Alla moved here after divorcing her husband, and her second husband, Alexander Stefanovich, soon appeared here. Pugacheva lived in this apartment until the early 80s. After the move, the apartment went to Alla’s brother Evgeniy.

3. The first truly luxurious living space went to Alla Pugacheva in the early eighties. These were four-room apartments at 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, building 7. Now Kristina Orbakaite and her family live in this famous apartment.

4. In 1994, after the wedding with Philip Kirkorov, the famous star couple settled on Zemlyanoy Val, buying several apartments located nearby. As a result, they got a seven-room, two-level penthouse. The apartment had its own studio, cinema, sauna and jacuzzi. After the divorce, the mansion remained the property of Philip.

5. In 2003, Alla received as a gift from her former son-in-law Ruslan Baysarov a five-room apartment on Filippovsky Lane, the windows of which overlook the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. It was this living space that became their first joint nest with Maxim Galkin. Pugacheva and Galkin lived here for quite a long time, periodically going to the Diva’s country house.

Bedroom and workshop

The second and third floors could only be reached using a spiral staircase. The second floor is the holy of all saints, where no one except those closest to him was allowed. It was here that the Diva's bedroom was located, where she loved to retire.

But the third floor was a kind of workshop. There were easels here, which indicates that Alla Borisovna loved to draw. In fact, many would probably have such a desire if they were in this room. After all, it was from here that a stunningly beautiful view of Istra opened up. It is not surprising that in this workshop the Diva was inspired to create new masterpieces.

In addition to easels, there were cozy sofas so that you could sit down or lie down to relax at any time.

More details about the rooms

The bedroom of the owner of the mansion is designed in the most delicate shades. Rosewood was used to make the floor. Expensive Italian marble was brought in to decorate the bathroom. Galkin has his own office. Its interior strictly follows the Victorian style. All chairs are upholstered in leopard print. The table is made of real oak, and the chair is upholstered in genuine leather. The swimming pool is extremely attractive. Its furnishings evoke thoughts of eastern countries and the luxury accepted there. The tallest tower of the mansion is dedicated to the observatory. The owners of the castle did not skimp on purchasing astronomical devices, so they can enjoy beautiful pictures of the starry sky. In a word, it’s not for nothing that this building is called a castle - its appearance and luxurious design are truly amazing.

Russian village and its unusual appearance

A Victorian-style castle is not what you'd expect from the village of Mud. Such a structure would be appropriate in the Scottish hills or in Iceland, filled with mysteries. Well, Maxim, who dreamed of his queen and their mansion at an early age, made his desires come true. By the way, when the couple decided to get a castle, there was not a single such offer in the entire real estate market of our vast country! That's why they decided to build everything themselves. The village of Gryazi is located 5 km from Zvenigorod. In the 18th century it was in the possession of the Tolstoys. At that time, about 30 peasants lived here. Now 123 people live permanently in the village. Most came here to live next to famous artists.
