Education

After graduating from high school, Daria did not immediately rush to conquer Moscow, but entered the theater department. Educational institution: Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Her course was taught by Nikolai Kirichenko. The girl was very interested in her studies, and she began to actively participate in the student theater. At the 12th International Festival of Student Theaters, a 3rd year student was awarded a diploma “For Best Actress” in 2015. Her role in the production of “Viy” based on Gogol’s story brought her her first success, followed by other offers.

Daria Parmenenkova is a Belarusian theater and film actress. Russian viewers met the young actress after the release of the melodramas “Uneasy Happiness” and “Simpler than a Steamed Turnip,” in which Daria played the main characters.

Daria was born in Minsk in the summer of 1995. As far as we know, Parmenenkova’s parents have nothing to do with the acting profession. But this did not become an obstacle for the girl, who already in childhood decided that she would become an artist.

Daria took her first steps on stage while still at school. The girl gladly participated in amateur performances and studied in the drama club. And she also dreamed that they would talk about her too, as about idols who had reached the top in Russian cinema. For the girl, they have always been an example of work in which the legends of Soviet cinema participated: Alisa Freindlich, Innokenty Smoktunovsky, Andrei Mironov and Evgeny Evstigneev.

After receiving her school certificate, Daria Parmenenkova decided not to go far from her home and entered the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, which has graduated more than a dozen famous artists. The master of the course where the future melodrama star studied was Nikolai Kirichenko.

Career path

Along with the theatrical stage, Daria was undoubtedly attracted to cinema. And in the same year, 2015, she received her first role in the film “Don’t Tell Me Goodbye” directed by Andrei Khrulev.

But the next film brought the young actress the main role. The first melodrama, “Uneasy Happiness,” turned out to be a very good start for Parmenenkova. The film was directed by Mikhail Zhernevsky. Dasha played the unfortunate Lida, who ended up in an orphanage from an antisocial family. An employee of an orphanage takes the girl into her home to raise her. In her family, she receives a good upbringing, gets introduced to serious books and real music. Many years later, feelings flare up between the grown-up Lida and the son of her benefactress, but this development of events does not suit the mistress of the house. This film was shown in Russia on Channel 2 and was liked by the audience.

To date, the best role of young Daria Parmenenkova is called Nadya Limonova, which she embodied in the melodrama “Simpler than a Steamed Turnip,” filmed by Ivan Krivoruchko. A story about a girl who had a dream of becoming a cook, like her father, but by the will of fate she ends up in a provincial workers' canteen in the tram depot of the city of Belaya Glina.

The four-part melodrama ends with a complete happy ending - Nadya manages to turn the canteen into one of the most visited establishments in the city.

Of course, after the first melodrama, other directors began to invite the actress with an unusual, interesting appearance. Alexander Khvan decided that in his film, “Life without Faith,” Daria Parmenenkova would be suitable for the role of an excellent student who falls in love with a boxer like no one else. This is the story of two lovers, whom everything in the world tried to separate, but love conquers the most unpredictable obstacles. The film was released in 2021.

The dramatic role of Polina in Armen Harutyunyan’s series “My Love Keep You,” in which the heroine suffers from an eye disease and during treatment falls in love with ophthalmologist Kostya, from whom she is deliberately separated. Polina hides her pregnancy from her lover, but when her daughter shows signs of the same illness, she goes to Moscow, where she meets Kostya again.

Viewers highly appreciated Dasha’s role in the film “I Want to Be Happy,” which was also filmed in 2021. The role of Marina in “Just Be Next to Me,” Katya in “Let’s Start All Over,” Lyudmila in “Golden Autumn” and others brought Daria Parmenenkova real fame as an actress of Russian melodramas.
