History of the group

In 2010, the girl’s creative path began. Then the parents sent Leroux to the Open Art Studio, where children and teenagers practice singing, playing various musical instruments, acrobatics, gymnastics, dancing, drawing and acting. Lera began studying vocals and drumming, and she also became one of the best students in her dance group.

In 2012, Yuri Petrov, producer of Open Art Studio and, later, producer of the Open Kids group, and Evgeny Milkovsky, leader of the Nerves group, invited Lera and four other girls to become members of a new musical group.

In her interviews, Valeria said that the offer was quite unexpected: the girls did not think that they would be one of the best in the studio. The main difficulty in creating the group, according to the grown-up participants, was doubting parents. The relatives of not all the girls were ready to give their consent to their daughter’s participation in the group, but through joint efforts the adults were convinced, and for good reason.

In addition to Didkovskaya, the group included Angelina Romanovskaya, Anya Bobrovskaya, Yulia Gimaliy and Vika Vernik. The last member left the group in 2015, having managed to record several hits with the girls. In the same year, Anya Muzafarova, and later Lisa Kostyakina, became a new colleague of Lera and other Open Kids participants.

Lera is the oldest of the Open Kids, although all the girls in the group are about the same age. In the first years of the team’s existence, Didkovskaya shared that she sometimes kept an eye on the other girls.
