I imagine how I will tell the story of how Vasya proposed to me, to my children, because it is full of magic. We decided to celebrate 2015 in Amsterdam, with its noisy streets, endlessly beautiful canals and gingerbread houses.
We chose a small, cozy Italian restaurant to celebrate the beginning of the new year in our little Italy, after which we went to celebrate in the central square. And so, finding ourselves in the middle of the crowd, we happily looked at the fireworks, making our wishes, congratulating each other on the holiday, and suddenly Vasya turns to me, gets down on one knee, takes out that very box and asks: “Will you marry me?”
As I remember now, the enthusiastic “Yes, yes, yes” came from all sides, it was supported by applause, but I just froze and couldn’t believe my eyes. He had to ask again before I woke up and said the most important “yes” of my life. Of course, now this is the most unforgettable New Year's Eve in our history!
