My friends Masha and Max, like me, are passionate about extreme sports, so when they had the idea to conduct a love story photo shoot, we decided to combine business with pleasure: take a walk, ride longboards and film their love story.
There was no special preparation - we decided that the appropriate clothing for an outdoor photo shoot would be T-shirts, shorts and sneakers. Masha found a “themed” T-shirt with the inscription “Crazy lovers”.
We started at about five in the evening in the central Botanical Garden. This is a popular place for photo walks, but thanks to longboards, we quickly left the traditional wedding locations for the park area.
It is clear that when you go for a ride on longboards, movement and adrenaline are guaranteed, and the drive is constantly increasing. Ideas during a photo shoot sometimes arise on the fly. For example, in one of the frames it seems that the long is hanging in the air, and Max is controlling it like a magician. How was this filmed? I, completely spontaneously, suddenly tell him: “Throw long!” - For what? - Well, just throw it away! Max threw it, and it turned out to be such a funny shot - the guys were just standing and hugging, and then suddenly a longboard flies past. It appears that Max is making a pass with his hand and the long is obeying him.
In the far part of the park we found ourselves in a real forest, we were attacked by mosquitoes, and had to flee)
Driven by mosquitoes, we quickly reached VDNKh. And if the first part of the love story took place in green scenery, in the second part active terracotta and red colors appeared in the frames.
We discovered an interesting space - an open-air cinema, where we got the best shots in this series.
By this time the walk had reached a stage where the guys stopped paying attention to me. At some frank moments, they were no longer afraid that I might film it, and gave free rein to their emotions and feelings. Usually boys are not particularly eager to be photographed, but after this shoot Max said that he felt so comfortable and cool that he didn’t even notice that I was taking pictures.

The best shots are sometimes taken at the very end of the walk, when the guys completely relax and stop holding back their emotions.

Unlike the first shoot that I talked about, with this couple we did not climb into a remote park area, but went to traditional “wedding” places.
The good thing about the botanical garden is that you can find many different locations there - there are green corners, old buildings with columns, covered with ivy, and a modern greenhouse with a mirrored facade.
Since this was not a wedding shoot, but a love story photo shoot, Sasha did not plan to wear high heels and a long dress, and we could walk for a long time. We immediately decided that it would be some kind of light denim story, so that it would be comfortable to lie and sit on the grass, so that there would be no worries about scratches on the legs, stained clothes, in general, the main thing is that everyone feels comfortable during the shooting.
