After successfully graduating from university, she worked for several years at the Nikolai Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.

In 1993, she married her first husband, Denis Anatolyevich Murashkevich, who is the head of a branch of the Belarusian television. After eight years of marriage, they divorced, but kept their spouse’s last name.

Subsequently, already a student at the Faculty of Biology, Natalya was offered to act in films.
