She is accused of having close ties with the “powers of this world,” but none of the spiteful critics dare deny that she is incredibly smart and has achieved everything herself. Looking for incriminating evidence on her social networks, ill-wishers cannot deny themselves the pleasure of watching her most interesting programs.

Nailya Asker-zadeh - now these women's first and last names are perhaps arousing the greatest interest in the press and on television. A young woman of extraordinary intelligence, beautiful and stylish, she is a welcome guest of leading glossy publications; the top electronic magazines are eager to get her photos. How did a girl from Baku, who had no acquaintances or connections, get not just on TV, but on a leading TV channel, and become mega popular there? What motivated her when the desire to get a second higher education, no less prestigious than the first, matured? How does she manage to get uncommunicative and secretive political figures to talk? Does she know some “secret levers” that they have, that they tell the most secret things about her project? How many apartments does she actually have, they whisper - that there are as many as eight, one more expensive than the other? And why is such a charming woman, smart and beautiful, still not married?
Childhood
Little Nailya was born in Azerbaijan on December 13, 1987. The parents chose an unusual name for the child. Translated, it means “gift” or “success.” The girl's father was an engineer, her mother was a nurse. The family did not need money, since Naili’s grandfather was a military man and the head of a large factory.
Family photo of Naila Askerzade
The TV presenter does not like to talk about her childhood, hiding information behind the phrase “there was nothing interesting to talk about.”
Little Naila was 2 years old in 1990, when military events in Baku forced the Askerzade family to urgently leave for Crimea. The girl remembers the ship on which they sailed. At the end of the trip, the whole family fell ill and came down with a fever. “But we survived,” Naili’s father joked.
It is known that Naila had a sister, Inara, with whom she did not get along. As children, the girls swore, fought, and did not communicate for a long time. Today the situation has changed radically. The sisters have become more tolerant of each other's shortcomings; they meet often and get together on holidays.
At school, Nailya was an excellent student, her favorite subjects were literature and fine arts. In her free time, the girl went to rhythmic gymnastics and a theater group. Nailya loved to ask her grandfather to pick her up from school. He arrived in a luxurious Volga, was dressed in military uniform, and his driver at the wheel killed his granddaughter’s classmates on the spot.
Nailya Asker-zade: childhood
0
First of all, the correct spelling of her first and last name raises many questions. Nailya is a name of Persian origin, derived from the masculine “Nail”. The meaning of this name is “gift”, “reward”, another meaning of the translation is “receiving the gift”. Girls named “Nailya” are usually calm and modest in childhood; in later life, they demonstrate perseverance and will to others, have a sharp mind, and pay a lot of attention to health. Now about the surname: the Azerbaijani prefix “-zade”, which is often mistakenly written without a hyphen and with a capital letter, is the same as the ending in Russian surnames. For example, “Askerov” and “Asker-zade” are practically the same thing, only the second option is purely Azerbaijani.

First, about the glorious family of Asker-zade, about the ancestors of our heroine. Great-grandfather on my mother’s side, Gerey Karimovich Valeev, fought during the Great Patriotic War, was called up to the front and ended up near Moscow in 1941. He was awarded many military awards, received three serious wounds - the consequences of the latter “came back to haunt” him in 1963, when he had to urgently remove a “walking” fragment from his body. His wife Raviya Sharafutdinovna worked at the post office during the war and was a lawyer. This profession has long since sunk into oblivion, but during World War II it was in great demand: using the Hughes machine it was possible to directly transmit urgent messages, which were immediately printed by the recipient on a paper tape. In her biographies they often write: “The young woman hides information about her childhood, and only on social networks can one find a hint that she was born and raised in Baku.” No one is hiding anything! Nailya, if asked, talks in detail about her early years and parents. The father of the future “star” of Russian TV was a physics engineer by training, and his mother was a nurse. The daughter mentioned about her mother that she worked for many years in the physiological department at the Baku maternity hospital named after Krupskaya. The journalist said that her childhood was very happy at first: “I remember the kindergarten where Inara (sister) and I went. I also remember well that we had a lot of toys, huge, soft ones - mostly bears. My sister and I sat the dolls in a circle, and I interviewed them.”
0
A blue skittle instead of a microphone, a mother preparing a delicious dinner, a father tired after work - wonderful memories are interspersed with more dramatic ones, because then the events of the 1990s in Azerbaijan burst into the girl’s childhood... “I was very little, but I immediately realized that something was happening scary. Tanks drove through the streets, a curfew was imposed, you couldn’t even go out onto the balcony,” from the journalist’s memoirs. And my father, coming from the street, said that they were shooting on the street, and not over their heads, but often at living people. The suppression of the political opposition in Baku and the subsequent conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh - that’s what was happening in her home country then.
0
Mannaf Abbasovich Asker-zade, Naili’s grandfather, at that time was a captain of the first rank - he and his wife Elena Alexandrovna devoted their entire lives to the army. He helped his son’s family leave Baku so that they could wait out the bloody events in a safe place. As part of the Caspian Flotilla, as members of the family of senior officers, they leave the city. “Everyone left Baku with the sole purpose of surviving. There was not enough space for everyone on the ship; they accommodated two or three families per cabin. Those who were lucky were lying on their beds, the rest were on the floor,” another fragment from an interview about leaving Azerbaijan. After a difficult journey on a sea vessel, a train journey to Sevastopol awaited them. The TV presenter recalled that upon arrival in Sevastopol everyone became very ill; For example, she had a temperature of about forty - the road was so difficult.
0
They stayed in Sevastopol for about two weeks, then returned to Baku. The situation had stabilized, but for a long time everyone was still worried. “When I remember those years after returning, I think: nothing now, no difficulties, no nervous shocks can be compared with what we experienced then,” says Nailya Asker-zade. She went to a specialized school with in-depth study of French. Mom and dad went to work again, and the girl’s grandfather-officer picked her up from school: he came to pick her up in a black military uniform in a state-owned Volga. The journalist remembers how her classmates looked at the car with admiration: “Teachers, parents, children turned around, and I was proud that next to me was my grandfather, who loved me more than anyone.”
0
Then the parents unexpectedly divorced (the story is silent about the reason), and the mother and the girls moved to Volgograd. There Nailya graduated from high school with a gold medal. This was also a special school, with French, where “they tortured me with foreign literature, technical translations and communication ethics,” from the girl’s memoirs. She still has memories of the eleventh grade, sleepless nights preparing for exams, visiting tutors in literature, Russian language and mathematics - these subjects were already planned to be taken as entrance exams to the university.
0
Volgograd State University, exams for the Faculty of Economics - the next, last stage of childhood. Nailya, as a “gold” medalist, having passed one exam with an “A”, could not pass the rest. That's what she did: she got an A in math and passed. “Grandfather was the most happy of all, he was so proud of me! When I found out about my admission, I showered him with gifts,” she said today.
Youth
Nailya began to be interested in English in elementary school. In the theater group, she participated in the production of English-language plays. The role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet was her favorite. Naila managed to make the whole audience laugh at the moment of the death of the main character.
Dead Juliet lay down in an uncomfortable position, and, forgetting about the performance, cheerfully turned over to the other side. Even the theater director laughed, who decided not to scold Nailya for the positive emotions she delivered.
Askerzade sisters
After a difficult divorce from her parents, Naila, her mother and sister go for permanent residence in Volgograd. The city opens up new opportunities for girls. Nailya continues to actively study English and goes to study at a French special school, where she studies a specialized language.
Mom puts a lot of effort and money into educating her daughters. Nailya studies with the best tutors. The efforts are not in vain, the girl graduates from school with a gold medal. After graduating from school, Nailya applies to the local university to study economics. The future TV star graduated from the university with honors.
First successes
The economics department graduate moved to Moscow at the age of 19. She started looking for work and completed an internship at the NTV channel. The girl received her first position in the audit department of a local raw materials company. Soon the girl was invited to RosBusinessConsulting as an international news editor.
Nailya worked a reduced schedule, got up early and went to bed late. In her free time, she worked as a correspondent for Kommersant. Good earnings at the newspaper became the reason for his dismissal from RBC. The girl devoted her entire time to the interview.
At the anniversary of MGIMO
Columnist Nailya began to reach heights in her new profession. The girl wrote about 600 notes on financial topics, interviewed successful rich people: politicians, businessmen, including foreign partners of local large organizations, financial experts and people responsible for regulating the currency and stock markets.
On her next assignment, the journalist interviewed Alisher Usmanov himself, after which she remained on good terms with the billionaire. Rumor has it that Nailya was in a love affair with him for a long time, which allowed the girl to climb the career ladder faster.
After Kommerstant, Nailya got a job at the Vedomosti newspaper. In 2010, the journalist improved her qualifications at the Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting. At the newspaper, Nailya worked in the economic sphere, specializing in banking.
First job, beginning of a career in the Kommersant publication
0
After graduating from the Volgograd Institute, she decides to move to Moscow, look for work there - without relatives, friends, let alone connections, the young economist had none at all! A rented apartment on the Kaluzhskaya metro station, a modest position as an auditor in a small raw materials company - this is how her working life in the capital began. Then Nailya joked that the company’s employees themselves needed a strict audit: “They had lunch instead of an hour, sometimes for three or four hours, the rest of the time they wandered around the offices.” The girl understands that it is unlikely that her career will take off in such a “lazy” company, and she applies for an internship at the NTV channel. One of the teachers confidentially told the student that NTV was looking for a young man or woman for the position of international editor, and Naili had knowledge of foreign languages and a higher education in economics. She immediately submits an application, and as soon as she receives the go-ahead, she quits her previous job, moves to TV, the harsh everyday life of working at NTV begins: getting up at four, or even earlier, the shift starts at five in the morning, the shift ends at half past three . And so - a week, then a week - a weekend. At that time, Mrs. Asker-zade met a wonderful woman, her best mentor - Svetlana Makarova. An experienced teacher of speech techniques, Svetlana Kornelievna “put” on TV such famous announcers as Leonid Parfenov and Katya Andreeva. Nailya also became her student, and Svetlana constantly repeated to her: “You are a wonderful student, you deserve to become a TV presenter.” At NTV, Nailya was then involved in stories about international events: she wrote texts, edited and read them, and monitored the editing of economic programs. Everything would be fine, but “shifts starting at dusk, and the same hopeless salary,” are her words about that period on NTV. She had two whole weeks free in the month, and the girl is looking for additional work, which she finds in the Kommersant publication. Luck again: the newspaper is looking for a person with knowledge of two foreign languages (and Nailya knew English perfectly well) in the financial department. The first work published by the girl in this publication is dated March 10, 2007 and is called: “The US stock market has been overcome by spammers.”
0
Here are her words about starting work at Kommersant: “Although they were paid generously (a dollar per line), one gold medal was not enough to become the “golden pen” of the most influential printed resource in the country.” It was necessary to find a common language with businessmen, attend economic forums, read foreign publications to keep abreast of events. Her immediate supervisor, Liza Golikova (who, by the way, hired Nailya), urged the girl not to hesitate, to cast aside indecision: “They all (businessmen) need you no less than you need them.” Asker-zade is immensely grateful to Lisa, which she never ceases to talk about in an interview: “She taught me the basics of journalism and “trained” me to be courageous.” It became increasingly difficult to travel from Kaluzhskaya (she continued to work for NTV) to Sokol, where the Kommersant editorial office was located. The number of published articles grew, earnings increased, and after two months of working at the publication, Naila was offered to quit her second job in order to work full-time at her main job. Of course, it was a pity to leave NTV, but the “twilight” salary there was no longer so necessary, and Asker-zade left there. In total, during her work at Kommersant, she published... Not one hundred, not two hundred, but five hundred and forty-four full-fledged, interesting articles! The latter was released on May 5, 2010, with the name “Euro-Russian Standard”.
Working on television
Her career as a TV presenter began with work on the Russia 24 channel. Initially, Nailya was doing her usual thing - interviewing and reporting. In 2013, the Rossiya 1 TV channel invited the journalist to observe business meetings of major executives.
After 2 years, the TV presenter began to host her own author’s project on “Russia 24” called “At Working Noon”. After the successful launch of the project, Nailya continued to host it on the Russia 1 channel under the new name “Characters”.
The essence of the program was frank conversations with famous people. The highlight of the show was meeting the characters in unusual places - in a coal mine, playing billiards, in a relaxed atmosphere.
Swiss Davos became an interesting experience for the TV presenter in 2018. Nailya communicated with political leaders and major businessmen. However, not everyone was ready to answer Askerzade’s tricky questions. Merkel and Poroshenko flatly refused interviews, citing lack of time.
Naila Askerzadeh with Andrey Kostin and Alisher Usmanov
Naili's work brought unexpectedly good results. At the TEFI award ceremony, the girl was recognized as the best interviewer, awarding her a victory and a long-awaited statuette. Many colleagues criticized the judge's choice, expressing the opinion that the victory was a fantasy, because Posner deserved it more than Naila.
Don't sigh on the bench. Social networks - about Naila Asker-zade and her “prince”
Alexey Navalny and FBK again managed to publish an investigation that gained enormous success among the public: the story of the alleged relationship between VTB head Andrei Kostin and TV presenter Naila Asker-zadeh set a new viewership record for the FBK Youtube channel.
Navalny claims that thanks to his relationship with Kostin, Asker-zade has the opportunity to fly on a private jet worth $60 million and relax on a 62-meter yacht:
This story is the whole vile essence of the Putin regime. An official, a state banker in a country where people cannot get free medicine for months, maintains another mistress who is really cooler than a royal person. Real estate, an airplane, a yacht—several hundred people around the world can actually afford this. And Naila.
And on this plane she flies around all Putin’s cronies to conduct laudatory interviews with them. While her “prince” has been incompetently managing an unprofitable state bank for 18(!!!!) years. The Ministry of Finance, the Federal Property Management Agency, the Deposit Insurance Agency - the state in a variety of forms over the past 10 years has provided VTB with assistance worth more than a trillion rubles. Each of us, from old people to babies, gave 7,300 rubles to support the endlessly unprofitable VTB bank. Which, as you now know, also went for this.
And all thanks to the comparison of travel dates with photographs from Naila Asker-zade’s Instagram, where she generously shares scenes from her glamorous life with the public.

What Nailya Asker-zade wanted, but could not boast of
Nikolai Rudensky
In connection with the sensational story about banker Andrei Kostin and TV star Nail Asker-zade, I remembered: “And here’s my opinion. Women are the main stumbling block in human activity. It's hard to love a woman and do anything. For this there is one means to love comfortably without hindrance - this is marriage. How, how can I tell you what I think... wait, wait! Yes, how to carry a fardeau and do anything with your hands is possible only when the fardeau is strapped to your back - and this is marriage. And I felt this when I got married. Suddenly my hands were empty. But without marriage, dragging this fardeau with you - your hands will be so full that you can’t do anything. Look at Mazankova, Krupova. They ruined their careers because of women.” “What women!” - said Vronsky, remembering the Frenchwoman and the actress with whom the two named people were in a relationship.” ("Anna Karenina")
Anna Mongait
What dualism. Here is Nailya Asker-zade, like an ordinary girl, she wants to show off her loved one’s gifts, all these apartments, planes and yachts. Declare to the whole world, but it’s mine! I want her Instagram to be the most popular, so that everyone admires her dresses (I found only one repeating red coat on social networks, but with different bags), so that everyone quotes her interviews “about the weather” with the most inaccessible interlocutors. After all, it was Sechin who spoke to her! And the last episode is a conversation with Nabiullina. Just think about “personal” inflation! Naila wants to be both Oprah Winfrey and Melania Trump, she wants fame and admiration. And it seems that it almost came true. Tatler wrote about Naila, though without mentioning anywhere where the money came from, where all her obscene fame came from... Well, how? After all, nothing is possible. You can’t say that it’s all he, Kostin, her generous prince, who doesn’t mind any state money for her quirks, you can’t take pictures with your loved one, you can’t show off your common children, tell the Caravan stories of how you met, how you fell in love, how you gave the first multi-car racer, how proved to him that she was better than both his legal wife Natalya Vladimirovna and her former lover Oksana Tsypkina. Instead, all references to common life and common property are erased, maybe this hurts her more than the publishers and editors-in-chief of the media that came under the knife. And now Navalny has set fire to the bench - the only open declaration of love. The heart bleeds. Nailya, hold on!
A bench in New York's Central Park with a dedication to Andrei Kostin and a distorted quote from Kipling, that is, in this case, apparently from the cartoon “Mowgli”: “You and I are of the same blood,” shocked commentators the most.
Corpuscle
What impressed me about the presenter and One Banker was not the stupid yachts with airplanes, let Oksana Lavrentieva pull out his hair, but the romantic bench in Central Park. After all, she could simply write “Andrey, I love you” with oil paint on the asphalt under the windows of the VTB office, as our local “romantics” do here. Or climb a tree, like the cat in front of the Tauride Bank, and sit there for two days until the firemen knock you down with sticks. But no. I dragged myself to New York, bought this sign, all in order, and wrote my full name - Andrey Kostin. On every joint visit, they probably sat on this bench, holding hands. Who is there to be ashamed of in America? Now Russian tourists will take pictures on it, laughing demonically. And when you see Kostin, ask for a joint selfie and a loan on preferential terms.
Sergey Parkhomenko
Horror.
This is how you have to idolize money, how you have to want more money, how you have to yearn for even more money, in order to declare your love for your own wallet with the help of personalized shops in Central Park.
Boris Lvin
In fact, this bench is the only touching episode of the whole stinking and vile story.
Maria Slonim
It seems to me that the investigation of FBK “Yacht. Airplane. Girl" is not about a banker and his mistress, but about "Achotakov." When no one is ashamed of anything anymore. A state channel journalist shamelessly receives billions of dollars in gifts from a state banker who cannot have that kind of money for such gifts, does obsequious interviews with government officials, no one hides anything, but on the contrary, even somehow flaunts it. Achokogo, “you and I are of the same blood.” We can even write in English. And immortalized in New York. How disgusting this is!
Kirill Martynov
Banker Kostin, as you know, clears any mention of his hobby from the Internet: the budget for legal and PR events is probably comparable to other material expenses in this line. At the same time, Asker-Zade openly announces their connection on a special sign in a New York park - she spends 10 thousand dollars on this trinket, the amount on which many Russian families live for a year.
What is important, perhaps, is not the specific tastes of this cosmopolitan couple, and not even the rustic style of the text (“you and I are of the same blood, Andrey”), but precisely the fact that the information that the couple forbids to be disclosed to Russian citizens is the subject of their own public pride in the first world.
In Russia, Kostin pays for no one to know how he spends his money. In the USA, he pays money so that random passers-by can be touched by this circumstance.
This is not surprising, considering that here in Russia they have rotational trips, but there they spend their whole lives. I’m not sure that the world knows examples of such a colonial administration, whose homeland is not even a specific occupying country, but simply any part of the world where there is a good climate, where laws apply, and where you can hang a romantic sign in the central park.
Tatyana Malkina
for some reason I’m completely amazed by the Kostin-Naili bench published by Navalny in the central park... I’m always for love and against judging it and making dirty jokes. In general, I’m always against shaking up the dirty yachts of businessmen and even their fish. I generally can’t Navalny, but for some reason this bench made me shudder. and out of pity. and from stupidity (after all, if it was for a lover, then one could get by with just “Andrei”), and from the clumsily translated “you and I are of the same blood”... probably from the latter most of all. like suddenly discovering that your favorite childhood book is also loved as best they can by strangers from the party committee.
Sergey Kalvarsky
Comrade, believe: she will rise, the Star of captivating happiness, Russia will rise from her sleep, And our names will be written on the benches of Central Park!
Alexey Belyakov
And this summer I wandered around Central Park a lot, just reading what was written on these signs, and even took pictures of some of them. But I passed the most important one.
Tourists actually flocked to the bench.
Tanya Kor
It’s already a pilgrimage, they say if you sit on it, you’ll receive generous gifts for Christmas. I'm afraid they'll tear it to pieces.
Moscow City Duma deputy Lyudmila Stebenkova went the furthest, suggesting that Navalny ordered the sign.
Nailya Asker-zade responded to the publication of the investigation with a joke on Instagram.
I hated Nailya Asker-zade in absentia for many years until we met. Nailya is very modest and shy in real life, and also extremely sensitive. Nailya also donates a lot to charity, but asks not to talk about it. I know exactly what I’m talking about: Nailya responded to requests for help in front of me. Navalny actually attacks her simply on the principle of “she’s rich.” So, Nailya is one of the responsible people. I am very sorry that she was attacked by a populist.
But she is, of course, in the minority: class hatred is already raging on the Internet.
Mikhail Svetov
Putin’s Russia is when there are murderers in the Duma and the Federation Council, the deputy chairman of the Presidential Administration rides on a yacht with prostitutes, the deputy chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation carries cocaine to Russia, and the president of the state bank squanders his funds on expensive gifts for his mistress.
In the 90s, entire prosecutors general were fired for a video with a prostitute. Now is a special era about which it is even difficult to be ironic, because it is difficult to come up with something more powerful than what reality offers.
Although the point here, of course, is not the journalist, but who probably supports her.
Vladimir Milov
In fact, the business of the swindler Kostin is not a banking business. This is a business of distributing money to people for thieves’ projects and then receiving “state support” when everything is stolen. At the beginning of this year, VTB, when transitioning to IFRS-9, was forced to recognize a hole of 20% of capital for such “loans”. That is, this is a deliberate fraud. We use fraudulent proceeds to buy yachts for girls, etc.
Anastasia Kirilenko
In my opinion, the episode with Malofeev, who was forgiven for the episode with the theft of $225 million from VTB, as Girkin’s commander-in-chief, is very indicative. A court in London ruled that the loan was issued through a kickback to VTB itself.
Major Russian media ignored the investigation: there was an unspoken ban everywhere on publications about Kostin, not to mention his possible connection with Asker-zade.
Alexey Navalny
Now let’s see what those who love to tell us about journalism and teach us have written.
RIA Novosti - 0 TASS - 0 Kommersant - 0 Vedomosti - 0 Interfax - 0
Moreover, the first two at least showed an attempt to find courage in themselves and first wrote and then deleted them. Commerce, Vedomosti and Interfax censored the topic completely. Not a word. <…>
So how should we feel about this?
Should I call them “nailes”, mortgagers and cowards, ridicule their discussions about journalism (ah, “protest journalism” is in demand now), saying: well, where are you going, what kind of journalism do you want?
or
get into position. Remember about this very mortgage and little children. Pretend that I didn't notice anything.
Leonid Volkov
They sold a “negative block” - now we have to work it off. And nothing remains of “standards” and “professional ethics”.
Many were especially annoyed about the leading business publications.
Konstantin Sonin
Vedomosti, RBC and Kommersant are wrong in not mentioning the investigation by FBK and Navalny about the presenter of the Rossiya channel Nailya Asker-zade and VTB President Kostin. This is big business news, but the even more important news is that this investigation was viewed by three million people on YouTube on the first day. Why is this important business news? Because “conspicuous luxury” - yachts and private jets - really infuriates citizens. At all times, fighters against revolutions hunt for student proclamations and appeals of secret parties, and during revolutions it later turns out that no one read the proclamations or heard about the parties, but “let them eat cake,” the immortal expression of Marie Antoinette, infuriated them a lot years. And it turns out that these “cakes” were the main news every time.
Maria Snegovaya
Even TASS and RIA Novosti at least tried to write something about Kostin and Nailya Asker-zade. Vedomosti is simply silent.
Sergey Sumlenny
Or they could make her the face of their advertising campaign on the labor market: “Working at Vedomosti is your path to success!”
Navalny also recalled in the preface to the investigation:
As some of you probably remember, I am a shareholder of VTB. The bank is completely thieves. That is, they simply steal everything there. Guide: thief chases thief. I did a lot of research into their activities. Sued. And he went to shareholder meetings to say everything to Kostin’s face. Almost the only newspaper that covered my activities at that time was Vedomosti. Therefore, at meetings I often sat next to their correspondent. A girl who couldn’t stand Kostina even more than I did. We listened to the lies from the stage, were indignant and discussed what a thief and fool Kostin is. The correspondent's name was Nailya Asker-Zade. Therefore, during the preparation of this investigation, my eyes were especially wide open in surprise.
The first editor-in-chief of Vedomosti, Leonid Bershidsky, tried to provide a basis for the media’s decision not to publish anything about the investigation, but in the comments he was pointed out inaccuracies in the post.
Leonid Bershidsky
I don’t want to offend anyone, but if I were now editing some Russian publication (but not a rollicking tabloid), I would not be able to put anything in it about Navalny’s investigation into Nail and Kostin. Not because I would be afraid of censorship, but for two reasons of a craft nature: 1) About Naili’s real estate was in the Project in August (see the first link). They sucked the Project, they should have reacted back then. 2) About Navalny’s yacht and plane it is said that they are Naila’s own. But this has not been confirmed by anything. Both hang on some opaque offshore companies. We need to dig into whose they are and who else uses them. (Here, by the way, interesting results are possible). PS. In general, of course, when you summarize someone else’s work (Vedomosti about blocking, Project about real estate) - even if you double-checked everything and found it again, you must refer to the first publishers, this is good form. PPP - there are links there, sorry. Well that's good, right.
Michael Nuckey
The first direct confirmation of Asker-Zade’s connection with Kostin. Show who has had this, or you can try to explain that it doesn’t matter (I don’t recommend the second option).
The owner of Vedomosti, Demyan Kudryavtsev, meanwhile apologized for his silence on the air of the Dozhd TV channel:
The fact that information about this investigation was not published in all three, I must say, leading business publications in the country is terribly regrettable, I’m not afraid of this word (although it is inaccurate) - a shameful, I would say, upset fact. Personally, as a reader, this makes me terribly upset. I am inclined to think in general, but about Vedomosti I can absolutely say that there are a number of reasons for this and none of them is censorship. But on the other hand, I also believe that none of these reasons justify why it was not done. This is public information that should have come out. Another question is that I have neither the way, nor the desire, nor the tools to influence this.
Meanwhile, Asker-zade’s program began to be actively advertised on Rossiya-1.
Anastasia Mironova
“Russia 1” hastily removed an advertisement for Naili this Asker-zade’s program. “The presenter they talk about.” “You can never have too much advertising.” They pumped donor saliva into their mouths with an enema, and now they spit at us on command. How do you have to hold on to your job to film something like this? She doesn’t do video design and editing herself, does she? Any future should be given only to politicians who promise total lustration of the ruling party, members of the government, all power blocs and managers of state-owned companies. With the creation of a special investigative body and a special trial of former corrupt officials and with the bringing to justice of absolutely all family members, mistresses, paramours and friends of cannibals who, at an adult age, used the property and money of the villains as knowingly obtained illegally. Children and mistresses are guilty and go to prison if they wear an expensive watch or go on a yacht more than once. Any use of obviously illegal property of the lustrated, committed two or more times, should be criminally punishable. Even when Vasilyeva from Molochny Lane was tried, I wrote: if we put at least one “prostitute” in jail or put on the sanctions list, we’ll immediately live easier... And any politicians who are hesitant about the fate of the current corrupt officials under the new government should be kicked out.
There are also doubts that the investigation will lead to any results other than additional advertising for the TV presenter and Navalny.
Tatiana Narbut-Kondratieva
The feed periodically contains echoes of Navalny’s investigations. Individual objects remain in the memory: a duck, a Fish (or is the Fish not Navalny?), a bench. Well, how to look through Tatler at the hairdresser. There people themselves show their houses, collections of bags, number of servants. I see the result of these investigations - two days of the tape full of jokes and photoshopped images. But maybe I'm wrong. Tell me, please, who understands. What is the point of these investigations?
Critics, as usual, accuse Navalny of working to order.

As for Navalny’s next “investigation,” I read it and am shocked. They simply set him up with the head of (in fact) the state bank VTB and a propagandist, so that he would not get carried away and understand too much about himself. To put it mildly, I’m not a fan of Kostin, but this is a complete paragraph. I imagined Miliukov or Struve discussing Kshesinskaya, or Bukovsky writing about Galina Brezhneva. It looks like now is the time of degradation.
Opposition-minded bloggers do not rule out the possibility that someone is using Navalny for their own interests.

Today I tried to withdraw money from my VTB card in Petrogradka. Not a single ATM was working in one branch. In another, the ATM malfunctioned when attempting to use it. Are these not signs of collapse? A hypothesis arose: Putin finally decided to bankrupt VTB and blame it on Navalny. Like, the romantic Kostin was so upset that he stole all the money at once and disappeared in an unknown direction. We know from the story with O. Sokolov that romantics, as they are, are not without a criminal mind. Well, or invent something else, what's the difference. The main thing is that from a political point of view this would be a very winning move. I give it almost free of charge, provided that you still give the money from the card.
Closed comments on Asker-zade’s Instagram were not the only result of the investigation.
Meanwhile, FBK found another plane registered to the same offshore company as Bombardier, on which Asker-zade flies: Svetlana Medvedeva became the heroine of the new investigation.
Personal life
Nailya keeps her lover's name a secret, although everyone has long known who he is. The girl does not officially admit information about her affair with the president of VTB. She claims that those who can be trusted know the name of their loved one. In 2011, the girl interviewed the head of VTB Bank, Andrey Kostin.
The ensuing romance between the journalist and Andrei led to a conflict of interest, so Nailya quit the newspaper. Navalny spoke about Naili’s work in a negative way, justifying his opinion by the fact that the journalist takes the interview thanks to Kostin’s sympathy.
The head of VTB provides the girl with a personal plane, so the interviewer has the opportunity to catch famous personalities anywhere. Other journalists do not have this opportunity, so they have to be content with little.
Currently, the girl is building a career, family, husband and children are not included in her plans

Despite her incredible popularity, the presenter remained modest and always remembers those who helped her rise to this incredible height. During the TEFI award, she listed by last name everyone who worked with her on the project. She paid attention to no one, starting with the General Director of VGTRK Oleg Dobrodeev, and ended her grateful speech with an appeal to editor Alexei Kolbasyuk: “Thank you, Lesha, for editing the materials often at night!” The audience laughed when Nailya, having accepted the award from the hands of the young dance champion Ksenia Lebed, expressed gratitude to the project participants: “Thank you all for your courage. For allowing me to catch up with you and persuade you! We didn’t talk to you in boring offices, but persuaded you to sit on a horse, put on a helmet, and play musical instruments.” Having an incredibly busy work schedule, she does not stop there and in 2017 she enters MGIMO to get another higher education. By the way, she graduated from her previous university with flying colors, and when asked about studying in Volgograd, she answers: “What questions can there be? Not a single absenteeism, not a single retake, everything was handed in on time with straight A’s.” It is not surprising that she received a honors diploma at her first university. Two years at MGIMO meant almost no free time, because I had to work on television and study without missing a single class, it happens! “Now it seems unreal to me that there will be no more sleepless nights, I will not dream about the English magazine “The Economist,” the happy MGIMO graduate wrote on her Instagram in June 2019.

The TV presenter admits that she sometimes invests in stock exchange projects, but she does it very carefully and competently - after all, she has two degrees in economics. Previously, she said, when she worked as a correspondent, this was prohibited, but now the situation has changed. “Sometimes I make risky investments and close my eyes. The main thing in this matter is that the investment in the game on the stock exchange should not be the main one, so as not to lose a lot in case of loss,” shares Nailya. And another important point in this regard: she categorically refuses to give forecasts to relatives, acquaintances, and friends. “I’m not an oracle, and friendship is more important than money,” is her invariable answer to a request for advice.

Nailya Asker-zadeh interviewed the owner of Alibaba, Jack Ma, three times – in 2017, 2018 and 2019. But she was unable to talk to Mr. Poroshenko, which she sincerely regrets. In the early 2000s, she had an agreement for an interview with Poroshenko, but at the same time the opportunity arose to meet with the then Prime Minister of the country Azarov, and the prospect of a meeting with Nikolai Yanovich outweighed “some Poroshenko.” But this would be, as Nailya later said bitterly, the only interview with Poroshenko for the Russian media! They later met with Pyotr Alekseevich in Davos, and the Ukrainian leader in a stern tone demanded that the journalist “take off her embroidery” - a blouse decorated with embroidered flowers. And so her communication with the “tall” Ukrainian ended, without really taking place.

Social life, according to Naili, is a waste of time, except that she sometimes appears at official receptions in serious companies, or at awards shows. She tries to attend seminars on her profile: according to her, she started going there and “it was incredibly addicting.” According to the young woman, it is never too late to study, and even with two higher educations there is something new to learn - the international economy is developing rapidly, one must always be informed. Living in Baku, as a girl she went to the rhythmic gymnastics section. After moving to Volgograd, dancing became a new hobby. She, in her own words, dances well, but embarrassment does not allow her to “light up” in a large, especially unfamiliar one, admits Nailya. But Ramzan Kadyrov could not refuse, and the audience watched with pleasure her smooth movements during the national Chechen dance Khelkhar. Mrs. Asker-zade also loves the theater very much, she tries not to miss premieres, she especially loves the Vakhtangov Theater.

About sports: of course, you need it if you want to stay young and beautiful! Nailya is not keen on running, like many TV stars: “Many women over the age of forty who actively ran are faced with premature aging of the skin, but I would like to avoid this.” Instead of running, she prefers to walk and tries to maintain the norm of 120 thousand steps daily (about ten kilometers). “It’s especially good to “kill two birds with one stone” if you walk around and listen through headphones to an interesting lecture or podcast in English,” the TV presenter shares her know-how. Walking, according to her, is an excellent form of cardio training, and is also very useful for all women, in her opinion, Pilates is a series of slow special exercises. Brought up in strictness, the girl did not have a boyfriend while studying at school and at her first university - she unconditionally declares this, and no one has denied this. And she had no time to look at boys - all that was on her mind was studying and the desire to get a prestigious education and get a good job. Nailya describes an incident from her youth, when in her last year of school a young man invited her to the cinema. "What film? I need to prepare, get a gold medal!” - that was the answer.

Rumors about her more than close relationship with VTB owner Andrei Kostin are contradictory and full of absurdities. Yes, there are several photos in the media where they are sitting next to each other, but you can find many photos of her with much younger and interesting men, with whom she is smiling in the photographs, standing close, and these individuals look at her with adoration. So, should every man who stands or sits next to some charming woman be “registered” as her lover? And the gossip about Asker-zade’s connection with Kostin can be considered even more unfounded, because the removal of offensive materials about them was carried out after the court’s decision.

Regarding the mythical eight apartments: the journalist lives, according to her, in a single apartment with her mother, and sometimes her sister visits her. The fact that she has many “huge choirs” is not simply denied by the young woman. She advises contacting the tax authorities, where all her real estate is registered: “Yes, I have an apartment in Moscow, declared, and it’s big, why hide it?” Another gossip that is persistently maintained among ill-wishers is about her bad relationship with her sister Inara. "Lies!" – Nailya answers this in one word. To prove the excellent relationship, during an interview with the Tatler resource, Inara arrived at the filming location, several photos were taken of friendly (this can be seen with the naked eye) and loving each other, beautiful sisters.
Without denying the presence of a permanent young man, Naila Asker-zade categorically refuses to mention his name, and she has the right to do so. If we talk about her expensive outfits, in which she shines to the envy of her ill-wishers, she earns enough to afford to buy the most rare things herself. She says about the possibility of getting married: “At the moment, I am primarily passionate about work. Only when I work do my eyes glow brightly and glow. Now, if you ever ask about family, and my eyes light up, it means it’s time to talk about family.”
