Actor's childhood
Feklistov’s thorny path began on December 7, 1955 in St. Petersburg, then still Leningrad. Alexander was an artistic child and loved to perform in front of relatives, reciting poetry. Otherwise, Feklistov was an ordinary boy: he played dirty tricks, was mischievous, and often disappeared on the street with his friends. The actor's father was a military man, and his mother worked in a library. Because of work, the Feklistovs often had to move, so it is not surprising that the family soon ended up in Moscow.
Education
The boy continued to be interested in acting, so he was sent to the studio of Vyacheslav Spesivtsev. Alexander was so inspired that he worked tirelessly throughout his six years of study. As the actor recalls, it was in this place that his career began.
In 1975-1977 Feklistov Alexander Vasilyevich decided to get a pedagogical education, which he immediately did. Alexander was quickly accepted into the Moscow Pedagogical University, where he studied defectology. What was the reason for choosing such a narrow specialty? Defectology has always attracted Feklistov, since his desire to help sick children turned out to be even stronger than his love for the theater. However, he soon returned to acting. After graduation, Feklistov decided to find a more prestigious theater or enter an acting university, but everywhere he heard only refusals. Alexander was quickly losing confidence in his own abilities and was already in despair, but at the last moment he was able to enter the Moscow Art Theater studio. He stood out among his students, always trying to be the best and find his own special approach to roles. For such diligence, immediately after graduating from the Moscow Art Theater, he was accepted into the Moscow Academic Art Theater.
