Personal life of Roxana Babayan
Roxana Babayan has been married to the main man in her life, Mikhail Derzhavin, for many years.
They are happily married and spend almost all their time together. What is the success of such family stability between two creative people?
Roxana Babayan Her story Probably lies in Roxana’s confidence, which she expressed in many of her interviews: any relationship must be cultivated. She compares friendship and love to plants: some grow, while others break. And for a plant to live, it must be watered, flavored, cared for, and talked to. So in love, diplomacy is important, the ability to understand another, to treat some things with humor. There is so much wisdom in the words of the famous singer: “under no circumstances should you re-educate a person.” Just for harmony to reign in a family, two people who live nearby must correspond to each other.
This is how, from small compromises and common care, the sprout of Roxana Babayan’s family happiness grew, which over the years did not wither, but rather became a strong, as she put it, plant. Yes, unfortunately, the couple has no fruits, that is, children, but Mikhail has a daughter from a previous marriage. Perhaps this is part of the reason that Roxana Babayan found herself in another noble pursuit - protecting animals.
Personal life and social activities
Roxana first married while working in an Armenian orchestra to saxophonist Evgeniy. The couple lived a short life together, parting as friends. The main man for her was the famous actor Mikhail Derzhavin, whom she met during a tour in the Kazakh Zhezkazgan. At that time, both had their own families, but in both marriages divorce was brewing. The couple formalized their relationship in 1980. For many years of marriage they did not have children.
Babayan is active in social activities. She joined the ranks of the United Russia party and was part of President Putin’s headquarters in the 2012 elections. He is the head of the Animal Welfare League, fights for the rights of homeless animals on the streets, and promotes the sterilization of stray dogs.
Currently, he is engaged in little creative activity, is on a well-deserved rest, devotes more time to housekeeping, loves to be outside the city, and communicate with his family. Roxana Rubenovna is on good terms with her husband’s daughter and his grandchildren. She and Derzhavin live in a two-room apartment on Arbat and built a house in the Moscow region.
Big and friendly family
Roxana and Mikhail got married on September 6, 1980. Despite the age difference (Mikhail is 10 years older than his beloved), they felt like peers. Babayan easily found a common language with Derzhavin’s children from his second marriage, with the actor’s sisters and his mother.
However, the artists were in no hurry to have children together. Roxanne explained the reason for this. The woman said more than once that she and her husband met as adults, mature people, and therefore both understood perfectly well that children are a big responsibility. If the actress had given birth to a child, she would have had to devote less time to her career, since she did not want to hire a nanny.
Working on your own television program
The year 2010 can be called important from the point of view of Roman Babayan’s career.
By this point, Roman had life and professional experience, and his desire and love for work, multiplied by his innate hard work, led him to his own author’s program. The author's program is first broadcast on Channel Three, and then on TVC.
It was from this year that Roman Babayan introduced the genre of political shows on Russian television, which is released daily. There was no analogue of such a program on television at that time. And if at first there were difficulties with inviting program participants, then after the first “Right to Voice” programs were aired, politicians, journalists and scientists themselves offered to participate in the discussions.

The audience also loved Roman's program and provided it with high ratings, of course, paying tribute to the talent and truthfulness of the presenter. In the author's program, the novel, justifying its name, gives each of the participants the opportunity to speak out and identify a specific point of view, no matter how absurd it may be.
It is more difficult to understand who is right, but here the role of the presenter comes first, who, thanks to the gift of persuasion, and in some cases, natural charisma, leads the audience to this or that idea. This is the art of discussion, creativity, and journalistic experience. Roman Babayan has all this, which is why the program has been loved and relevant among viewers for many years.
Critics also noted Roman Babayan's original program in 2017, awarding him the TEFI award .
