On March 10, 1946, the talented actor Vladimir Vasilyevich Gostyukhin was born in the city of Sverdlovsk. The boy grew up in a creative family. Father Vasily Gostyukhin was in charge of the House of Culture, and mother worked as an actress in an amateur theater. The child’s life looked predetermined, but Vladimir surprised the family and after school went to study at a radio technical school, while working as an electrician, after which he became the chief power engineer.

In 1970, Vladimir entered GITIS (then the Lunacharsky State Institute of Theater Arts). In the same year, he starred for the first time in the film “It Was the Month of May,” where he played a cameo role.
Then Vladimir Vasilyevich was drafted into the army. After serving for 2 years, Gostyukhin returned to the capital. The actor initially worked at the Central Academic Theater of the Soviet Army, where he did not work as an actor, but was responsible for furniture.
