New generation: the son of actor Mikhail Trukhin Egor about working as a waiter, “Streets of Broken Lights” and his parents’ divorce

Childhood and family

Egor Trukhin was born on January 31, 1997 in St. Petersburg into a creative family: his father is the famous actor Mikhail Trukhin (Lieutenant Volkov in the series “Streets of Broken Lanterns”, Alexey Viktorovich in the series “Ivanovs-Ivanovs”), his mother is an actress of the St. Petersburg theater " On Liteiny" Lyubov Yeltsova.

Due to the fact that Mikhail Trukhin was constantly busy on set and in the theater, Yegor’s mother most often sat with him. The financial situation in the family was not very rosy at first. “We lived in a communal apartment, without a bathroom or hot water, in a room with a window overlooking the wall of a neighboring house,” recalls Trukhin Sr. However, the role of opera Volkov in “Streets of Broken Lanterns” allowed the actor, a year after the birth of his son, to earn money for his own apartment, where a few years later he brought his daughter Daria from the maternity hospital.

Constant travel and crazy work schedules do not improve family relationships. Yegor and Dasha witnessed violent quarrels between their parents, which began “somehow suddenly and never stopped.” In the mid-2000s, Mikhail received the role of Hamlet in the capital's theater, moved to Moscow, and soon divorced his wife. In one of the nightclubs, Trukhin met the young actress Anna Nestertsova, who became his second wife and in 2008 gave birth to Trukhin’s daughter Sofia. The children from the previous marriage remained to live with their mother, but Mikhail tried to continue to occupy an important place in their lives.

At school, Yegor studied well, went in for sports, played football, mastered karate, played at the Theater of Young Creativity, and later won girls’ hearts by playing the guitar and ukulele. No one doubted that the talented boy would follow in the footsteps of his parents. And the guy himself was confident in his abilities and without much difficulty entered Oleg Tabakov’s Moscow Theater School, which he graduated from in 2017. Mikhail Trukhin said in an interview: “I know, and Oleg Palych told me that he treats him tenderly, appreciates him as a student and a growing actor.”

Then Egor Trukhin entered GITIS, where he began to master the specialty of “theater directing” (workshop of Sergei Zhenovach). His sister Daria, a year after her brother, entered the same institute at the acting department, in the workshop of Oleg Lvovich Kudryashov.

Student years

After graduating from school, Mikhail Trukhin and his friend Dima Barkov decided to enter the Institute of Culture.
Their choice fell on the directing department. However, the friends failed the entrance exams. But Mikhail was lucky. He joined the supporting cast of the Alexandria Theater. For a young guy without a higher education, this was considered a great honor and success. In the play "Leaders" Misha was part of the crowd. Small roles in productions soon followed. Trukhin understood: he needed to learn the basics of the profession. Otherwise, the main roles will not be seen. To do this, the guy signed up for Igor Gorbachev’s studio, opened at the Alexandria Theater. The experience gained at this institution allowed Trukhin to enter LGITMIK. He was enrolled in the course of Veniamin Filshtinsky. It was a real success.

Actor career

Yegor Trukhin was lucky enough to star in a movie for the first time at the age of 5 - his father brought his son to the set of “Streets of Broken Lanterns.” The boy played a small role in one of the episodes of season 4, meeting such famous artists as Yuri Kuznetsov, Alexei Nilov, Alexander Polovtsev and Sergei Selin.

Five years later, Yegor appeared in one of the episodes of the detective series “Opera. Chronicles of the Homicide Department,” in which he worked with actors he already knew from “Street of Broken Lanterns” - except for his father, who conquered the capital in those years.

When Egor was 16, on the Mir TV channel, several years after its creation, the dramatic series “Live First” was released, based on the book by Ekaterina Matveeva, who went through Stalin’s camps. In the series, Trukhin got a very small role, but this project was extremely important and interesting for the teenager.

Yegor’s first “adult” role took place in the detective series “Hunting the Devil” with Sergei Bezrukov in the title role. The action takes place in the late 1930s around a director named Max Livius, who is filming a horror film about a mummy in Helsinki and at the same time trying to unravel the mystery hidden in the old boarded-up mansion next door. The series premiered on March 13, 2021 on the NTV channel.

Trukhin experienced real interest in his person after the release of the series “Secretary” - a detective story about an employee of the Investigative Committee Ekaterina Morozova (Ksenia Lavrova-Glinka), her adult son Oleg (Ilya Korobko) and the new boss from the capital Vasily Gromik (Mikhail Trukhin), part-time the father of her only child. Egor’s hero, Stas Mirsky, the son of the “enemy of the committee,” is not the main character, but it is around him that the main plot line of the story unfolds.

Movies

10 years before serious work in the troupe of the Theater of Youth Creativity, the actor, at the encouragement of his famous father, decided to try his hand at cinema. The role of Major Volkov’s son in “Streets of Broken Lanterns - 4” demonstrated that the young man had been ready for filming for a long time.

Then the family appeared together in the new crime series “Opera 3. Chronicles of the Homicide Department” in episode 8 called “Blackmail.” Egor liked standing in front of the cameras and following the directors’ instructions, but the main thing was that the young man “caught courage” at that moment.

The teenage filmography ended with the television project “Live First,” which told about the difficult life in the Gulag concentration camp. Then Trukhin graduated from college and starred in the drama “Hunting the Devil,” where Maria Lugovaya and Sergei Bezrukov played the leading roles.

In 2021, the actor recreated the image of Stas Mirsky in the serial film “Secretary”, where the main character was played by his father. The young man appeared on camera for eight episodes and was quite upset when his work on the series ended.

The next significant hero of Yegor was the character of a musical comedy, which was shown by the entertainment channel in March 2021. In the film “90s. Fun and Loud”, a promising line-up of participants was selected, and Trukhin’s duet with Stasya Miloslavskaya received applause and praise.

The young people acted out scenes from the life of the pop ensemble, and the actor’s knowledge of the technical structure of electric guitars came in handy. For filming, at the request of the producers, he had to grow and lighten his hair, and at first he regarded this as “horror and a nightmare.”

At the same time, an original photo appeared on Instagram, where Yegor appeared in makeup typical of the 90s. In the comments, subscribers suggested that the series would have a continuation.

Personal life of Yegor Trukhin

Nothing is known about Yegor Trukhin’s personal life. The young actor is not yet married and has no children. Trukhin devotes all his time to filming and studying - to the great pride of his father.

On his social networks, Egor prefers to share work moments and random photographs of nature and cityscapes that most impress his subscribers.

A copy of my father?

Viewers were able to see the heir to the famous actor with their own eyes in the role of rock musician Vasily, a platinum blonde. Egor specially lightened his hair for this purpose. Despite this, fans have discovered clear similarities between father and son. True, Mikhail Trukhin does not dwell on this. He finds that his son is more similar to him in character, so he chose not to watch the debut role, since any of his professional comments could be perceived quite painfully by Yegor. Not long ago, he showed his father his own script, about which disputes arose between them.

Yegor dreams of his own film, but does not set himself the goal of winning an Oscar. The young man is deeply convinced that films are not made for the sake of awards. The young man’s personal life is still in the background; he is not ready for responsibility for his family and child, although he loves children very much. Everything has its time.

Egor Trukhin now

On March 25, 2021, the STS TV channel will premiere the comedy musical series “90s. Fun and loud." At the center of the story is an unexpectedly formed pop group, which included two guitarists (Egor Trukhin and Philip Ershov), a choir school student Zhenya (Stasya Miloslavskaya), paratrooper Bob (Roman Kurtsyn) and vocal teacher Ptitsyn (Dmitry Nikulin). The audience will be presented with a nostalgic story, imbued with the spirit of the 90s with their pagers and Tetris, chewing gum and video cassettes, crimson jackets and everyone’s favorite music. For the role in the series, most of the actors had to undergo changes in their image. So, Yegor Trukhin dyed his hair for the first time in his life, and Philip Ershov inserted an earring into his ear. The producer of the series was Fyodor Bondarchuk, and the director was Igor Voloshin (known under the pseudonym Yegor Karma), creator of the famous TV series “Olga” and “Fizruk”.

Lyuba-Love

He starred in films for the first time in 1991, in Cynics. The following roles were very minor. Mikhail was more involved in his studies and, of course, his personal life.

The actor met his first true love within the walls of his native university. Her name was Lyubov Yeltsova. The girl also had ambitions to become an actress, but fate turned out completely differently. In her senior year, the girl realized that she was pregnant.

The house could not tolerate two willful owners.

I didn’t want to have a wedding with a belly. The lovers agreed that they would give birth first. Mikhail moved Lyuba to his parents. Their first child, Yegor, was born there. Lyuba’s mother really wanted to help with the baby. And after getting married, the couple moved in with their wife’s parents. The mother-in-law greeted her son-in-law warmly, but the relationship with the father-in-law did not work out. The house could not tolerate two willful owners.

"Streets of Broken Lanterns"

In “Streets of Broken Lanterns” Trukhin received the role of Lieutenant Volkov. It’s interesting that the people responsible for casting the actors found him from Lenfilm’s card index. The roles of operative Vyacheslav Volkov's colleagues were played by Nilov, Polovtsev, Selin, and Lykov. When agreeing to film a television project, Mikhail could not even imagine that for many years he would become akin to the image of a crime fighter. However, the series is still a huge success among viewers, which forces the creators to film its continuation.

Now Mikhail is not sure whether he made a mistake by agreeing to the role of Volkov. The actor believes that he has become so close to his character that he is no longer perceived separately from him or seen in other roles. In addition, the busy filming schedule, as well as frequent trips on tour, negatively affected his health. However, Trukhin has not yet decided to say goodbye to “Streets of Broken Lanterns”, while many other actors who starred in the first seasons left the television project.

Hamlet

She was happy. The Trukhins argued very little, except over some nonsense. Misha almost didn’t participate in the eternal actor’s get-togethers with alcohol, babysat his son, regularly brought home money, but only Lyube hinted that it was inappropriate for the hostess to go to work. Let her not return from maternity leave and become an actress, but continue to run the house and raise children.

Trukhin was invited to the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov, to play Hamlet himself.

Lyuba was offended by this, but not for long. The husband not only spent more and more time on the set, but also went to rehearsals in Moscow. Trukhin was invited to the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov, to play Hamlet himself.

Later, in one of his interviews, he will say that he was terribly worried, that they prepared the performance very responsibly, and by the time the curtain opened, he no longer remembered or understood anything, he was completely in character, detached from the external and immersed in his Hamlet.
