The Akhmedovs decided to move from Baku to Moscow when their daughter turned 8 years old. A war broke out in the country, and the parents were forced to take their daughter away from danger: an interethnic marriage raised many questions among fellow citizens of the Akhmedovs. In the Russian capital, Sabina finished school.

At an early age, she was an introverted child, and when, a month before the entrance exams, Sabina announced to her parents that she wanted to become an actress, they were surprised. Nevertheless, the daughters found an acting tutor, and a month later Akhmedova became a student at the Institute of Contemporary Art. Sabina chose the acting department and took a course with teacher and Honored Artist of the RSFSR Vladimir Komratov.

Childhood

Sabina was born on September 23, 1981 in Baku, in an Azerbaijani-Armenian family (her mother is Armenian, and her father is Azerbaijani, an engineer by profession). She is the only child in the family. In the winter of 1990, after the “Armenian pogrom,” the actress’s family was forced to move to Moscow.

After graduating from school, 16-year-old Sabina applied to the Institute of Contemporary Art for the acting department (workshop of Vladimir Nikolaevich Komratov).

Personal life

The actress is not married yet. The girl claims that she is an opponent of the theory of a biological clock for women. The personal life of Sabina Akhmedova does not depend on conventions. In her own interviews, Sabina claimed that she would get married only when she met a man in whom she was confident.

In mid-2021, information appeared online that Sabina Akhmedova was finally going to change her marital status. The actress's fiancé was the president of the group, Daniil Khachaturov, an Armenian oligarch whose fortune, according to Forbes, reaches $2 billion. The billionaire broke up with his previous wife, Ulyana Sergeenko, back in 2013. But so far no photos from the wedding have appeared on Sabina’s personal Instagram account; children are also only in the plans for the couple. The actress’s posts are dedicated to work, going out, relaxing with friends and her mother.

Akhmedova maintains warm relations with Milla Jovovich and her mother Galina Loginova. The girl met the family of a Hollywood star while studying in America. Now Sabina lives in two houses - with her parents in Moscow and in her own apartment in Los Angeles.

The actress's height is 175 cm and her weight is 58 kg. Like many attractive stars, Sabina is suspected of resorting to plastic surgery to maintain her beauty, but confirmation of this fact cannot be found. A woman keeps herself in shape by maintaining a proper diet. For the past few years she has not eaten meat, but does not give up dairy products. The actress prefers Pilates among sports activities, but due to her busy schedule she often replaces it with a swimming pool, where she can go at night.

Theater

For the first time, the girl managed to prove herself precisely on the theater stage, making her debut in the graduation performances “Summer and Smoke” and “Where it is thin, there it breaks.” While still a student, Sabina Akhmedova set out to look for her own place in the sun. On the way to him, she changed a number of theaters: at first it was the stage of the Shalom Theater, after a few months Akhmedova moved to the School of Modern Play, after which she appeared on the stage of the Stas Namin Theater. In 2002, the young actress received a diploma, but considered her education insufficient and went to the USA. Akhmedova studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute for two years.

In the USA, the actress participated in the Marilyn Monroe Theater production of King Lear. After this, the girl was invited to a closed experimental project, the founder of which was Lee Strasberg. Members of the studio, whose centers are located in Los Angeles and New York, are Hollywood stars De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep.

Not many people are allowed to participate in closed performances. Sabina was lucky enough to become a performer in a production of “Three Sisters” by Anton Chekhov. At an open reading of the play, the Russian actress met Al Pacino, as well as other popular American artists.

Movies

The cinematic biography of Sabina Akhmedova began during her student years. In her 4th year, the aspiring actress appeared in an episode of the melodrama “New Year's Gift.”

Later, Sabina went to the United States to perform on the local theater stage, but Sabina was forced to return to Russia by the popular TV series “Club,” where Akhmedova was offered one of the main roles. The actress starred in all seasons of the sitcom and gained first fame in Russia.

To participate in the filming, Sabina was torn between two countries, because in the USA the girl was involved in the production of “The Seagull”, and then in the play “At the Depths”. At the same time, the artist played in the project “Men Don’t Lie.”

In the film comedy “High Security Vacation,” Akhmedova appeared in the image of the carefree pioneer leader Lena Bichkina, and in the military drama “Saboteur-2: The End of the War” she played the heroine Lana, an oriental woman who lost her beloved.
