There she was supposed to meet Yuri, bring him to an apartment stuffed with photographic equipment, give him a drink and put him to bed. However, the operation failed miserably. 2 days before the planned implementation of this plan, Brezhnev was suddenly summoned to Moscow. It is possible that Lubyanka was warned in time by one of the KGB agents in Sweden.
About the habits of the Secretary General
It is known that Leonid Ilyich really enjoyed receiving various awards and honors. He had a passion for hunting and was very hospitable.
Brezhnev loved to drive a car on his own. He became addicted to kissing heads of state (especially friendly communist ones) and ordinary citizens three times. The kiss of the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee with the leader of the GDR Erich Honecker was captured in the form of graffiti on the remains of the Berlin Wall.

Divorce from first wife
Andrei's first wife was Nadezhda Lyamina. They had two sons - Leonid and Dmitry. Their marriage broke up when Nadezhda went to the oligarch Alexander Mamut.

Andrei understood that, with all his love for his sons, he was not able to provide the level of education and prosperity that his stepfather provided them with. This was a strong blow to his pride.
In 2002, Nadezhda died young, at only 41 years old, from pneumonia. Andrei suffered even more, suspecting that she would have remained alive if they had not divorced.
Family life did not work out with his second wife Elena. They soon divorced, she lived separately with her children, maintaining virtually no contact with Andrei.
Relationship with cousin
