Sergei Aksenov: biography of the head of Crimea
Sergei Aksenov was born in the Moldavian SSR (now the Republic of Moldova), in the small town of Balti, on November 26, 1972. There is very little information about the parents - Valery Nikolaevich (born in 1949) and Nina Semenovna (born in 1949). It is known that they were citizens of Ukraine. Sergei's father was the chairman of the Russian Community party. He worked as the general director of Panel Systems LLC in Simferopol.
Sergei Aksenov began to show the makings of a leader while still at school. At first he actively participated in pioneer activities. Then in Komsomolskaya. At school he was chosen captain of the football team. He played well. Sergei studied almost “excellently”. If circumstances had been different, he might have been able to have a good football career.
Family of Sergei Aksenov
Sergei Aksenov's family was the most ordinary. He was born in Moldova in a small village. His mother, Nina Semyonovna, did a lot of housework, grew vegetables and spent all day weeding the garden. Their father, Valery Nikolaevich, worked at a local factory as a radio equipment tuner, so they did not live richly.
Only real desire and an active life position, inherited from Sergei’s mother and father, helped him enter a university in a big city, in Simferopol, where his own family is today.
Where did Sergei Aksenov study?
Sergey Valerievich Aksenov studied at local school No. 6. In 1989 he graduated with a silver medal. The Komsomol gave him an excellent reference. After receiving the certificate, Sergei immediately left for Simferopol. There he entered the military polytechnic university, majoring in military construction. After graduating, he successfully defended his diploma.
But Aksenov did not stop there and entered the university of management and economics. There Sergei received a bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Economics, then a master's degree in Finance and Credit. Graduated from Aksenov University with honors.
Childhood and youth
Aksenov Sergey Valerievich was born on November 26, 1972 in the Moldavian city of Balti. There is no information about parents and childhood. It is only known that the parents Valery Nikolaevich and Nina Semenovna were citizens of Ukraine, and the father of the future Crimean leader at one time chaired the Russian Community party.
At a young age, Sergei was not distinguished by excellent behavior or success - the boy was a strong "average". Aksenov studied at local school No. 6, from which he graduated in 1989 with a silver medal. Having received a certificate of secondary education, he went to Simferopol and entered the Higher Military-Political School, where he received a diploma as a military builder.
Already in his youth, Sergei Valerievich became involved in entrepreneurship in the production and sale of canned food and food products. Over the next 10 years, Aksenov’s biography did not change - the future Crimean head was deputy director in several companies and cooperatives.
In parallel with doing business, Sergei Valerievich continued his studies at the University of Economics and Management, where he first received a bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Enterprise Economics, and later became a master's degree in finance and credit.
Aksenov’s activities before his political career
After graduating from SVVPSU, Sergei Aksenov began doing business in the production and sale of food and canned food. Held the position of Deputy Director:
- 1993-1998 – cooperative “Hellas”;
- 1998-2001 – Asterix LLC;
- 2001-2014 - Escada LLC.
Being one of the managers in several cooperatives and companies, Sergei Aksenov was engaged in this activity for many years. During this time, his biography did not add anything noteworthy.
Success in the political field
Thanks to his active work, Sergey Aksenov in 2010 became the leader of the Crimean movement “Russian Unity”. He had to fight many political opponents. Aksenov and the movement he led were accused of raider seizures of real estate.
Only Sergei’s opponents could not do anything, since there was no evidence of criminal activity. Despite the accusations, in 2010 he became a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Crimean Peninsula of the sixth convocation. Sergei Aksenov won recognition from fellow politicians and the population of Crimea thanks to his views, which prioritize:
- national interests of Russia;
- self-sufficient economy of the Russian Federation;
- support for Russian manufacturers;
- differentiated tax systems, their abolition for low-income citizens of the peninsula.
Since February 27 last year, Sergei Aksenov has been the head of the Council of Ministers of Crimea. He retains this position to this day.
Sergey Aksenov today
In 2010, the young politician became the head of the Russian Unity movement, formed by combining several related structures. From this political force he was elected a member of the parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (ARC).

In 2014, when armed Russian special forces occupied the building of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and hoisted the Russian flag over it, parliamentarians elected him head of the regional government and scheduled a referendum on the status of the republic. According to official information, the election procedure met the requirements of the law, but according to other sources, the number of deputies was not sufficient to recognize it as legitimate.
According to the results of the referendum, an agreement was signed in March on the annexation of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia. Most states characterized the change in the status of Crimea as aggression and occupation by the Russian Federation, which violated the 1997 friendship treaty, the 2003 state border treaty, and respect for territorial integrity. The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on the non-recognition of the referendum, which was held at gunpoint. Russia considers the change in state ownership of Crimea to be the realization of the right of peoples to self-determination.
A businesslike and enterprising politician overnight, from an entrepreneur and deputy of the autonomy from a relatively small party, he turned into a real leader and director of the Republic - the Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
Aksenov Sergey: Crimea. Biography of a Russian politician
In 2014, during the coup in Ukraine, a Russian flag appeared on the building of the Supreme Council of Crimea. An extraordinary meeting was convened, at which Aksenov, by a majority vote, was appointed prime minister of Crimea, which at that time was still part of Ukraine.
Turchinov considered the decision of the AR Supreme Court illegal, and a criminal case was initiated against Aksenov. Sergei was accused of forcibly seizing the government building of the peninsula. But Aksenov was not idle either. Immediately after his appointment as Prime Minister on the Council, he subjugated all Crimean security forces and turned to Putin for help, asking for support for the Crimeans.
Sergei Valerievich had to go through a lot before the referendum (he was one of its organizers), in which the population of the peninsula almost unanimously voted to leave Ukraine and join the Russian Federation. After the annexation of the peninsula to the Russian Federation, Sergei Aksenov, along with some other politicians, found himself on the “black lists” of the West. Personal sanctions have been imposed against his person. And it is extremely undesirable for him to travel to Europe.
Sergei Aksenov becomes head of Crimea
Despite protests from Ukraine and the West, on March 18, 2014, Crimea became part of the Russian Federation. The agreement was signed by the Prime Minister of the peninsula Sergei Aksenov, the chairmen of the coordination council Konstantinov and Chaly, and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
On April 9 last year, Sergei Aksenov joined the Presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation. On the 14th of the same month, he was appointed acting head of the peninsula. In September 2014, the State Council of Crimea thoroughly considered Aksenov’s candidacy. And since October 9, 2014, the official head of Crimea is Sergei Aksenov. He was elected to office unanimously. The post of prime minister remained with him part-time.
As for ordinary Crimeans, they approve of his activities in his post. Residents of the peninsula respect Aksenov, and many consider him a savior. After all, thanks to his initiative, they live under a peaceful sky and do not hear artillery cannonade. Punishers do not break into the homes of Crimean residents, and their children do not have to take up arms and defend their land. People can speak their native language fluently, attend Russian-language schools and feel completely safe.
Undoubtedly, Aksenov will go down in history, and his name will be remembered by descendants. Because the important steps he took deserve to be talked about and remembered.
Sergei Aksenov has a criminal past - first president of Crimea Yuri Meshkov
Yuri Meshkov published the documents on his Facebook page. There, he suggested that only the fact that Gennady Moskal, who was then the head of the Crimean police, made Aksenov an informant, helped him avoid going to jail and getting shot.
In his post on Facebook, Yuri Meshkov wrote (we provide the text without cuts):
“The other day, employees of the former 6th department of the Crimean Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (department for combating organized crime - author's note) handed me documents that I am now posting on my Facebook page.
They shed light on what the current Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, used to do. I carefully studied this dossier... “Goblin”’s track record as a person involved in operational reports is impressive - contract killings, extortion, participation in organized crime groups, etc.
I cannot but agree with the chairman of the “Russian Society of Crimea” Anatoly Los, who concluded in his recent analytical article that Aksenov managed to avoid the fate of most of his colleagues in the craft (“some are no longer there, and those are far away”) only through cooperation with police general Moskal.
The head of the oldest Russian organization in Crimea cooperates as an agent.” Indeed, heading the Crimean police, Moskal, who is a top-class specialist in the fight against organized crime, carried out a total cleansing of the peninsula from gangs and their leaders. Having such a bright “track record,” Aksenov could remain untouchable only in one single case - cooperation as an agent.
I share the opinion of the patriarch of the Russian movement of Crimea, Anatoly Nikolaevich Los, that the cooperation between Aksenov and Moskal continues to this day. And Gennady Gennadievich probably has a more extensive dossier on “Goblin”. This circumstance cannot but pose a real threat to security and stability in our Crimea.”
There is every reason to believe that only cooperation with police general Gennady Moskal helped Aksyonov escape...

In the same post, Yuri Meshkov published photocopies of the operational reports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Here are photographs of these documents as they are and without comments:
He also pointed out that after the annexation of Crimea to Russia, Sergei Aksenov issued a regulation on the enemies of Crimea and banning them from entering the peninsula. The list of enemies includes not only politicians from Batkivshyna, Svoboda, etc. But also the opposition Shufrich, Novinsky, and the late Chechetov. But Gennady Moskal was not included in this list.
It is worth noting that similar documents indicating the participation of Sergei Aksenov in an organized crime group were previously released by the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Mikhail Bakharev, at a press conference in Simferopol.
In response to this, Aksenov filed a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity and won it. After this, Mikhail Bakharev, insisting that he was right, filed an appeal with the Court of Appeal of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which ruled in favor of Bakhaev with the wording that Aksenov could not prove his innocence in court. Sergei Aksenov believes that a precedent has been created, following which any person can be publicly slandered with impunity, and at the same time he must also prove his innocence.
Later, questions about Aksenov’s criminal past were asked to Natalya Poklonskaya, who responded to similar assumptions that she had heard some rumors, but “I had never touched on the situation with Aksenov before, I didn’t know him, he had never been involved in any of my criminal cases.” didn’t pass.”
Personal life of Sergei Aksenov
Sergey Aksenov does not like to show off his personal life. In the early 90s he met Elena Dobrynya. She graduated from the Crimean Agricultural Academy, Faculty of Economics. Then she married Sergei Aksenov.
Elena is an economist by profession, and she and her husband were engaged in entrepreneurial activities together. In their family “piggy bank” there are several real estate agencies, several travel agencies and companies selling household chemicals, manufactured goods and products.
In 1994, a daughter was born into the Aksenov family, who was named Christina. Three years later, Oleg was born - the son and heir of Sergei. Now his children are studying at prestigious universities.
Sergei’s income for the first year as head of Crimea reaches just over 1,500,000 rubles. The declaration states that there is no real estate owned. And Aksenov rents the land, dacha and apartment.
His wife Elena earned approximately 3 million rubles last year. She is the owner of seven non-residential premises and three apartments with an area of almost 200 m². Plus, Elena is the owner of several land plots. Their total area is 1568 m². Also in the possession of Sergei Aksenov’s wife is a cottage with an area of 577 m² and a BMW 750 car.
From the moment they met, Elena supports her husband in everything. And at the time when Sergei was a simple businessman, and in his political career. In their free time from work, the Aksenov family prefers to travel.
Biography of Sergei Aksenov
The biography of Sergei Aksenov begins in 1972 in the village of Balti. At school, the boy actively participated in amateur performances and social life of the class, loved to draw wall newspapers, and speaking to the public with reports was generally his favorite pastime. Serezha was actively involved in sports, ran as part of the school football team, and was generally a good student. He graduated from school with a silver medal.
After receiving secondary education, he entered the military-political construction school in Simferopol, which he successfully graduated from. After receiving his diploma, the active Aksenov begins to slowly engage in business. At first he gets a job at an insurance agency, but quickly realizes that sitting on the sidelines is not his fate, so he gets a job at a cooperative selling food products. Where he holds the position of deputy chief. The company sells canned goods, food products for public consumption, and food products.
Sergei Aksenov is the head of Crimea, whose biography is quite contradictory. As the media say, at that time, in the 90s, Aksenov got involved in one of the criminal groups that then protected such a business. Although the politician himself now denies this fact, “not comme il faut,” this fact is supported by the fact that in 1997 he was hospitalized with a gunshot wound. Unknown persons fired at Sergei's car, where the crime boss was located at that time. By the way, this attempt was not the only one; later explosives were found in his house, but they were defused in time.
However, times are changing, and with the advent of the 2000s, Sergei decides to give up dating, which almost led to his death twice already. The successful businessman has a number of acquaintances in the structures of the state apparatus, so in the 2000s he tries to obtain a deputy mandate, and also becomes a member of the public organization “Civil Activist of Crimea”.
Since 2010, Aksenov has become a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and two years later he participates in elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and gains 9% of the votes in his district. He is one of the influential people on the peninsula, so when unrest began in Kyiv in 2013, the peninsula held its own protests at that time. Aksenov quickly becomes persona non grata in Ukraine, they try to arrest him several times, the building is surrounded, but the deputies of Crimea are already accepting him as the prime minister of the new government, and the Russian flag flies over the administration building. During the unrest in Ukraine, Sergei shows his civic position, which at that time was supported by many in Crimea: joining Russia. He becomes the head of the revolution, and very quickly finds support from the Russian authorities in Moscow.

Children of Sergei Aksenov
Just like the politician’s personal life, users don’t know much about his children. It is known that Sergei and his wife had two children: a boy and a girl. The children of Sergei Aksenov are not public figures. They are already adults while receiving higher education.
As the politician himself once said, he does not classify his children as “golden youth”, so from childhood he taught them that in order to get something, they must earn it. Despite the fact that his wife spoiled the children secretly from her husband, Aksenov always carefully controlled their pocket expenses.
