Abroad, her name is well known not only in modeling circles, but also in the world of cinema. At the age of 10, Evgenia GUSEVA played the role of one of the sisters of the heroine MADONNA in the famous “Evita”. In Russia, her acting career is just beginning.

— Evgenia, tell us what impressions did you have from filming “Evita”?

— The film was shot in Budapest, Hungary portrayed Argentina.
And then I lived there with my parents. I remember that during filming the weather was very bad. I practically didn’t communicate with Madonna; she was constantly surrounded by a ring of security. But I often talked to Antonio Banderas and his wife Melanie Griffith; they are very approachable, nice people. — Did you already know English at the age of ten? — Very good, I had wonderful teachers. I am a Muscovite, but I studied in Switzerland. I decided to continue my education in the States. — How did you get into the Stella Adler Acting Academy in Los Angeles? This is practically unrealistic... - After filming Evita, they gave me a letter of recommendation. They were horrified there when they learned that a Russian girl had come to see them. For them, Russia is a foreign, incomprehensible world, another planet. But I successfully passed the entrance exams, studied for free, and moreover, received a scholarship. Without false modesty, I will say that I have the best acting education in the world. Robert De Niro, Melanie Griffith, and other stars graduated from this school.

Childhood and youth of Evgenia Guseva

The future domestic star was born on April 21, 1970 in the capital of Russia - Moscow.
Evgenia was born into a wealthy family of businessmen, so from childhood, any of her wishes immediately came true. Parents understood how important knowledge of foreign languages is for a successful person. That is why at the age of 10 the girl spoke fluent English. From a young age, Evgenia began to show herself as a creative and artistic person. She loved to show her parents little performances and delight them with excerpts from films or plays that she had memorized. However, despite the obvious talent of their daughter, the parents still planned to give her a prestigious education, which in the future would help Evgenia become successful and independent.

Since childhood, the girl began to travel. For some time, the whole family lived in Switzerland, where the future actress received secondary education. A little later they moved again, but this time for permanent residence in Hungary, namely in Budapest. Thus, the girl chose the National University of Economics and Politics as a higher educational institution in order to later have all the necessary knowledge to build a successful business.

The beginning of the way

Evgenia Guseva, whose biography is no different from the fate of girls from ordinary families, was born in the city of Kirov. After graduating from school, the girl decided that it was time to leave her hometown to receive a more prestigious, higher education. The choice fell on the university of St. Petersburg, namely the Department of Tourism Business. After graduating from school, Zhenya got a job in a company near Moscow. Evgenia also did not forget to constantly learn new things: she completed choreography courses and learned to play the violin. In addition, the girl knows several languages and enjoys drawing.

Evgeniya Guseva

For many years, Evgenia had an affair with a major Moscow businessman, but the girl understood that she could not live permanently with this man and would never build a family. The businessman proposed to her, but the girl refused. Evgenia always believed in true love and sincere feelings.

In 2009, the girl decides to leave her job and goes to the casting of the largest project on the TNT channel. The spectacular brunette easily received a ticket to the famous show and captivated all the participants with her charm. During her stay on the project, the girl tried to build relationships with the most prominent participants such as Nikita Kuznetsov, Andrey Cherkasov and Ilya Gazhienko. Evgenia Guseva, whose photo was unknown to anyone before the project, appeared on the covers of magazines.

The beginning of the acting career of Evgenia Guseva

While studying economics, Evgenia began to become truly interested in theatrical art.
The girl received her first experience at the age of 10 years. Then she successfully passed the casting for the film “Evita”. Evgenia played the role of the main character’s sister, played by the famous pop diva Madonna. In addition to her, Antonio Banderas, Jonathan Pryce, Jimmy Nail and Victoria Sus also took part in the filming of the film. Eugenia admits that between filming she never managed to communicate with Madonna, since the star was surrounded by many security guards all the time, but she managed to truly become friends with Antonio Banderas and his wife.

Around the same time, she was offered to become a presenter on one of the Hungarian TV channels. She led a youth project in which she managed to express herself and show herself to be a very sociable girl who was not afraid of difficulties.

After that, the girl did not appear on television for a long time, because she devoted all her time to studying at the university. It was there that she found many new friends who also worked as actors. Evgenia was very inspired by this idea, so she set off to conquer Los Angeles. In an incredible way, she managed to become a student at the famous and very prestigious acting academy of Stella Adler.

In the future, she admitted that the director of the film “Evita” wrote a letter of recommendation that introduced her as a talented and capable actress. She was invited to show her abilities in the entrance exams. It is worth noting that Evgenia did not have to pay for training, moreover, she even received a scholarship. The actress herself considers her education to be the best in the whole world.

Fortunately, her talent did not go unnoticed, so immediately after graduating from the acting academy, she was invited to work at the Los Angeles Central Theater. At that time, during the distribution of roles, she received only minor or episodic characters, but the experience of working in such a theater was repeatedly useful to the actress in the future.

Popular groups

One day at the airport I mixed up the cars and accidentally got into a stranger's jeep. “Andrey,” the handsome, smiling driver introduced himself. How could I then imagine that in a month I would marry this man?! The stranger turned out to actually be a popular actor who played the main role in the sensational film “Little Vera”... I confess that chance plays a fatal role in my life. I met director Alan Parker by chance in Budapest, and he became my godfather in the profession. There, thanks to Parker, I accidentally starred in Evita with Madonna herself. Then, in Moscow, I accidentally ended up in the TV series “Kulagin and Partners”. She also accidentally married Andrei Sokolov and just as accidentally broke up with him...

— Zhenya, what were you doing in Budapest?

— The best years of my life passed in Budapest. My family moved there because of the political situation in the country. It was a difficult period in the 90s. One putsch, then a second... Tanks rumbled across Moscow, the White House was burning... And if we take into account the fact that we lived in the very epicenter of events, right next to the White House, then the question of why we left Moscow disappears in itself.

One day a man called to our apartment. Mom saw through the peephole a heavily armed man in camouflage. The military man asked permission to fire a grenade launcher from our balcony at a government building. Naturally, his mother indignantly rejected his offer and did not open the door, but the neighbors who lived on the floor above were scared and let him in. Later we heard a terrible explosion. It turns out that the White House fired back at us.

After this incident, the parents did not doubt for a second - they needed to escape from Moscow! And since my mother’s brother was married to a Hungarian, we rushed to Hungary to survive the hard years there.

From Budapest, my parents sent me to a private school in Switzerland, for which I am very grateful to them, because they gave me an excellent education. Children of presidents and sheikhs studied at my school. I can’t help but boast that I was courted by the son of the famous designer Ishimiyaki Yoshi!

One day I was walking along the school corridor, dressed in all beige: jacket, jeans, boots. Even the hair was dyed to match. And suddenly a guy in the same jacket, trousers, boots and with golden hair comes towards me, only with a Japanese face. I don’t remember how long I stood there with my mouth open. Yoshi came up to me and without any preamble declared: “I want to be like you in everything. I love you".

In general, Japanese passions flared up in earnest. One day, Yoshi, having once again received his resignation, in front of all the students, lay down on the rails along which a train was about to pass. After this incident, he was expelled from school, although after some time he recovered.

A Japanese woman, my roommate in the dorm, was in love with Yoshi. One day I’m walking into my room, and suddenly a loving vixen suddenly attacks me and starts strangling me. Thank God she is still alive! For this outrageous act, the Japanese woman was called to the carpet to the director. And I, having calmed down, asked to leave her at school.

Then the period of the “Arab” war began. Once in a cafe one of the sheikh’s sons dared to pinch my buttock. In response, I poured hot coffee on his head.

He grabbed a chair and threw it at me in a rage - I barely managed to dodge it.

And then they declared war on me. Since we lived in Switzerland, the students were required to ski. I remember the Arabs attacked me on the slope, trying to knock me down. I sobbed into the phone, begging my mom and dad to take me home. But they were adamant...

In the summer I went on vacation to Crimea to visit my parents, where we had a house. I spent my childhood there. Horses, hunting, weapons are part of my life. As a child, my father taught my brother and me to shoot and ride horses. I stayed in the saddle perfectly. Once she even won a horse race in Switzerland. When I returned to school, I brought with me a pile of photographs from the “combat operations”: I was standing in the forest in camouflage, hung with guns, rifles, and walkie-talkies. One Arab, looking at the pictures, said through clenched teeth: “Everything is clear, Russian mafia.” I replied pointedly: “No, it’s even worse!” But, to my surprise, the “war” has since subsided...

Then I returned to Budapest and entered the university at the Faculty of Economics for foreign students. Lectures were given to us in English. At the same time, she worked on television and hosted a youth program.

At that time, the American film Evita was being filmed in Budapest. Everything around was immersed in the atmosphere of the forties - ladies and gentlemen in elegant suits of that time walked along the streets.

One day on television I received an assignment to interview the director of Evita, Alan Parker. The meeting was scheduled for early in the morning, but out of excitement I arrived much earlier. To pass the time, I dropped into a cafe to drink a cup of coffee and read the latest newspaper.

Suddenly the door opened and an energetic man jumped into the cafe. He approached the sleepy waiter and began to quickly say something to him in English. The poor Hungarian, who had not yet really woken up, clearly did not understand a word, he just nodded his head tiredly and constantly asked the foreign client questions. The nervous visitor, clearly an Englishman, at first became irritated, and soon began to shout. I couldn’t stand it, I went up to him and offered my help. Finally, the waiter took the order, and we, satisfied, each went to our own table.

I lazily picked at the scrambled eggs with a fork, and I watched the Englishman with curiosity. Suddenly I noticed that he was also looking in my direction.

Finally he sat down next to me with his cup of coffee and asked without any preamble: “How do you know English so well?” I replied that I have been speaking it for a hundred years. The stranger laughed: “You are well preserved, miss. My name is Alan. What are you doing here so early?” I answered: “I’m waiting for some director. They say he is nasty and evil. But I need to complete the editorial task.” Alan laughed: “And I’m waiting for some girl. They say she is eccentric and also unpleasant.” To be honest, I didn't really know what Parker looked like.

We are having a nice conversation with Alan, when suddenly he asks me to say some phrase in English. And after a minute he declares: “So, you suit me! Very similar to Argentinean. You will play Evita’s sister in her youth.”

On the set I was lucky enough to see Madonna, who played the main role in this film. She made a strong impression on me - small in stature, well-proportioned, with a strong aura and very intelligent, deep eyes. The star was constantly surrounded by six bodyguards. They say that she really did not like Budapest and practically did not leave the hotel. She had stunt doubles on the set, Hungarian actresses. They were quite often filmed instead of Madonna, from the back. Maybe that’s why the film, in my opinion, wasn’t very successful...

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, on the contrary, loved walking around Budapest. When we were filming scenes at the university where my mother taught, I offered to give Melanie a short tour. Melanie graduated from the American Acting School in Los Angeles, and it was she who advised me to study there.

I was terribly excited about this idea. Alan Parker wrote a letter of recommendation asking for my admission. All that remained was to tell the “good” news to the parents. As a result, I told my father that I was going to America for the summer. My family was not surprised by this - they considered it quite normal that my daughter decided to travel.

I was lucky to be accepted into the famous Stella Adler Acting Academy. I spent a whole year in America. Soon my parents found out that I had left the university in Budapest and was studying to become an actress. There was a terrible scandal; they said that from now on I would not receive any financial assistance from them. But they paid me a scholarship, and thanks to this I was able to complete my studies. Today I am proud to have graduated from the same academy as Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Robert De Niro and Melanie Griffith.

While studying in America, I managed to star in the famous Canadian series “Her Name was Nikita.” Mostly she played Russian spies or bandits.

— Evgeniya, how did you meet Andrei Sokolov?

— This chance meeting took place at the airport in Moscow. By that time, the parents had already returned to their homeland. Before my arrival, my dad called and warned that his driver Sergei would meet me in a jeep.

To be honest, I really missed Moscow. So tired of American one-story cubes made of cardboard and plastic! Therefore, my mood was high and enthusiastic. At the exit from the airport, as we agreed, a jeep with a driver was waiting for me. I boldly opened the door and plopped down in the back seat. Later I kept wondering: how could I mix up the cars?

A handsome, smiling man was sitting behind the wheel. “Are you Sergei?” - I asked. He replied: “No, Andrey.” It seemed strange to me that another driver arrived instead of Sergei, but I did not attach any importance to this, because in the end I returned home. We set off. The driver was very nice, charming, and joked all the way. Apparently, he immediately realized that I mistook him for someone else and, being an actor, out of curiosity, he decided to play along with me. Or maybe he thought that the girl was probably pranking him - after all, the whole country knew Andrei Sokolov at that time. He could not imagine that I had not lived in my homeland for a long time, so I had not seen either “Little Vera” or performances with his participation.

At the end of the journey, Andrei finally admitted that I had made a mistake and got into the wrong car. We laughed and exchanged phone numbers. Andrey scribbled his number on a piece of a poster with the repertoire of the Lenkom Theater. But that didn’t tell me anything either...

Soon we got on the phone, and Andrei invited me to the play “Bed,” which he himself staged. To be honest, I didn’t really like the performance. And after the theater I decided not to call him. Andrey showed up himself. "What it is? — He was in terrible anger. “She started dating me, and now she’s decided to give it all up!” What does it mean?" You could feel from the voice that the man was clearly offended: he was so famous, and some girl decided to turn up her nose!

Since then we started dating. Andrei took me to his friends’ dachas, invited me to theaters where he was involved in plays.

Of course, he tried to impress. He told jokes, read poetry, was kind and polite.

And most importantly, he looked after me in the old-fashioned way, gallantly, saying beautiful words: “You give me such a ringing feeling... You are my half...”.

Andrei was very handsome - a tall, strong, light-eyed Viking with golden curls. He seemed real, sincere and kind to me... Of course, I immediately fell in love with him.

In addition, it soon became clear that we had one common passion - hunting. We met with Andrey so actively that a month later he proposed to me. I remember it was on Annunciation. It was on this day that Andrei asked for my hand, one might say, he brought the good news...

— Your father probably helped you?

— I have always been a very independent person. Returning to Russia from America, she began working at the Children's Fund for symbolic money and at the same time studied to become a announcer at the Ostankino School of Television. I worked at the foundation for a very short time - exactly as long as Andrei looked after me. When we got married, the family needed other money, and Andrei got me a job with his friend in an advertising agency. I had to travel far to work, but they paid more money.

As for my father... He was so against our marriage with Andrei that he immediately lost interest in me. “I decided to live my adult life - live!” - said it suddenly and bluntly. I hesitated until the last day. Well, how can you get married without your father’s blessing? I even bought a dress only on the wedding day in the first store I came across...

We got married on Krasnaya Gorka. And at first they got married in church. Andrey put an engagement ring with a small diamond on my ring finger. By the way, after the wedding he immediately took off his wedding ring and wore it on a chain around his neck like a yoke.

But for some reason he didn’t really want to go to the registry office to officially register. He probably thought that a wedding was enough. I remember on the day when we were getting ready to go to the registry office, he woke up terribly angry and did not want to get out of bed. I decided not to even wear a suit. I put on some kind of plaid shirt and old trousers. His friend, who was present at our gathering, I remember, shamed Andrei: “Are you going to get married in this? Change your clothes".

We signed after all. It was enough for the charming Sokolov to smile a couple of times at the registry office aunts - and our passports were instantly stamped. True, the very next day Andrei went to the police with a statement that his passport was lost and exchanged it for a clean one. But I never got around to putting a stamp in the registry office...

The wedding took place in a restaurant. Mostly there were relatives: Andrei’s mother and her sister, his cousin and her husband, my parents.

On the wedding day, a tragic incident occurred: my uncle had an accident on Klyazma. The father immediately rushed to the scene of the disaster. I, leaving my husband and guests, rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, as a result of the accident, my uncle lost his leg. By a mystical coincidence, my uncle, who had suffered terribly all year, actually died on our wedding anniversary.

— Did Andrei introduce you to his parents?

— Before the wedding, Andrei decided to introduce me to his mother. She lived in a small apartment in Chertanovo. My mother and I, taking flowers and gifts, went to meet each other. Andrey's mother is a simple woman. It was clear that her son was the meaning of life for her.

By the way, I immediately noticed how amazingly Andrei looks like his mother. We sat down at the table. There was an iron stand on the uncovered kitchen table. On it is a frying pan with burnt sausages, and next to it is a pan with boiled buckwheat.

Andrei's father left the family and married another woman. After the wedding, Andrey took me to visit him. His father's family welcomed us very warmly...

— What impression did your parents make on Andrey?

“When he met my mother, I saw that he was impressed by her couture coat, fox hat and diamonds.

Mom is a representative of the old Swedish surname Bagge-af-Bu. Her ancestors came to live and work in Russia three hundred years ago. One of them, Baron Bagge af Bu, was close to the family of the Swedish kings.

Mom is a writer and professional critic; at one time her articles were published in Soviet Screen. Then she lived for a long time with her father in Germany, where she published a unique biography of Romy Schneider, “The Fall of a Star.” In Europe this book became a bestseller. Mom taught in Germany at universities, gave lectures on “Existentialism in Cinema.” Now he writes and publishes books on the history of cinema in England. A few years ago she separated from my father and married the BBC finance director.

It seems to me that Andrey might have gotten the impression that I was a bride from a rich family. After all, he knew perfectly well who my father was. Dad previously worked at Sovexportfilm, then at trade missions in Europe, after perestroika he had his own investment company in England, and he was also involved in construction and real estate along the way.

Andrey always knew how to get what he wanted. His charm opened any doors for him. And even if he counted on my father’s help, he never said: “Zhenya, go ask dad for money.” He is very proud. I myself didn’t think of asking for money...

True, one day he went with his relative to his father’s friend and asked for two hundred thousand for the film. “What will you leave as bail? “I need guarantees,” he replied. “What other collateral?” - Andrei was offended.

Immediately after the wedding, my husband and I went to Croatia. Andrey practically didn’t talk to me there. We didn’t look like a couple in love: he walked around with a face like he was serving some kind of punishment. It was so strange to me... I didn’t expect this at all from a romantic trip...

Andrey was not only my first love, but also my first man. I was completely inexperienced and thought that if my husband didn’t sleep with me, then that’s how it should be. During the year we lived together, we were very rarely close... Stupid! This is what my patriarchal ideas about marriage led to! You had to first live with the person and then get married.

Of course, I was not immediately disappointed in my husband. When I was young, it was very difficult for me to quickly figure everything out. Andrey turned out to have a very complex character: Tiger and Leo in one bottle! For example, he had a very strange way of remaining silent when you asked him a question. He never said anything about himself. I told him: “Let’s talk,” and in response he silently gets up and leaves the apartment. From his meager stories about himself, I only know that it was his mother who brought him to Slava Zaitsev when the famous fashion designer announced a set of models. And Stas Sadalsky brought him to study at Shchuka.

Andrey was a real “star boy”. He really was very lucky in life. After “Little Vera” he immediately became famous. And that’s probably all I know... Such a strange person with no past...

And I tried to be his best friend. After all, he chose me as his wife! I was a romantic girl and didn’t understand how to behave with this grown-up, reserved man. And all the sublimation of my love for him resulted in culinary exploits. Like crazy, I prepared several dishes every day: cutting salads, stewing meat, baking cookies. Andrei, who was always inclined to be overweight, was terribly angry with me: “Why did you prepare so much! I'm on a diet! And at night he couldn’t stand it and ate everything. He’s used to eating differently: he’ll buy a piece of cheese and a stick of sausage and sit on sandwiches all day. He also loved oranges. His car always smelled of citrus fruits and there were oranges and dried peels everywhere, on the seats and under them...

I tried my best to turn it around

a bachelor’s apartment into a cozy nest: I bought dishes, bed linen, pillows.

She ran around the markets, and then rushed home like a bullet to fry cutlets when her husband arrived. Andrei had a car, but he did not consider it necessary to go to the market and buy food.

But I managed to study at the Ostankino Television School, and also work.

Andrei immediately said that he would not allow a single maid into his house. I'm used to something completely different. My father took great care of my mother and spoiled her.

Andrey once pointed to the nightstand and said: “There’s money there if you need it.” But, firstly, there weren’t that many of them, and secondly, I didn’t want to take my husband’s money. On the contrary, I tried to help him, because I earned money myself.

-Where did you live? In his apartment?

— Andrey lived on Oktyabrskaya in a high panel house. He had a two-room apartment with a tiny sauna, where he often steamed.

This apartment was carefully hidden behind numerous doors and bars. At the beginning there was a door that separated the elevator from the apartments on the landing. Then an armored door, followed by a second, internal one. And castles, castles, castles...

I lived like on a military base. Andrei's home was literally stuffed with pistols and shotguns. I was frightened by his passion for collecting weapons. When I was doing the next cleaning, it was scary to accidentally touch a dangerous arsenal with a mop. For example, there was a rifle with a telescopic sight under the bed. "It's called 'Tiger'!" — Andrey was very proud of his acquisition. And in the nightstand there was... a grenade. Not fake, real!

— Do you think Andrei was afraid of something?

- Don't know. He never talked about it. Maybe Andrei was hiding from bandits? He always wanted to do business. He once mentioned that at one time he and Zhenya Belousov produced vodka. Then there were some minibuses, computers... It was during that period that, according to him, an attempt was made on Andrei’s life. Someone shot at him near the house. I don't know anything else. Everything he did was top secret.

I remember that some people often called home and, upon hearing my voice, immediately hung up...

And one day an incident occurred that frightened me greatly. One morning I was in the kitchen washing grapes in the sink. Suddenly I feel someone standing behind me. I turn around and the bowl falls from my hands with a crash: in front of me is a completely naked Sokolov with a pistol in his hand! Seeing my frightened face, he said: “I thought thieves had broken into the apartment.” “What thieves? - I thought. “We have double iron doors!” But then I turned everything into a joke...

— You said that Andrei looked after you very nicely, and when you got married, he was attentive and gave gifts?

— For my wedding, my husband gave me a thin engagement ring with a small diamond. One day he presented me with a gold watch. So Soviet, round. It was a pleasure. I remember asking me to buy me a jacket. I’m married after all, I shouldn’t go to my parents to ask for money... But it was so hard for him to part with the required amount that he gave me the money in parts for several days...

We practically never went anywhere together. I don’t remember Andrey inviting me to a restaurant...

I thought Andrey and I would be one team, I would become his right hand. I’ll introduce him to the right people in America and help his talent break through. I listened to Andrei’s endless complaints about directors who don’t appreciate him and don’t give him leading roles, and I got upset. “I will no longer appear in “Juno and Avos” as an extra!” - Andrei said with offense. I was completely on my husband’s side and believed that they were simply jealous of his talent. “Everyone here is unworthy of my Andrey!” - I told myself.

I noticed that he was not friends with either the actors or the directors. Mostly his friends were military men and business people.

I dreamed that I would grow up as an actress next to him, that he would teach me a lot about the profession. Strange, but my husband was categorically against this. In his opinion, I could do anything - new technologies, software, but not television and cinema! Although Andrei never wanted me to become a housewife. True, for some reason he said this not to me, but to my father.

— Has your parents’ attitude towards Andrey changed over time?

“My father didn’t like him; it seemed to him that our marriage was short-lived. “I won’t give you money for a house! - he warned. “If you want, earn it yourself!”

Andrey, feeling this hostility, preferred the company of my mother. He really liked her. At the same time, he was jealous of me all the time. “You married me, not your mother. Why are you constantly running to her?!” - the husband was angry. And I was bored with him! I got used to discussing everything I read about and saw with my mother. And Andrei read almost nothing, was not interested in anything. I learned that he was interested in hockey from the newspapers. I've never noticed anything like this about him. I only remember that Andrei loved the poems of Sergei Yesenin and books about vampires. And in a prominent place lay a huge tome about the Freemasons. Funny - Andrey and the Masons!

Recently I was very surprised to learn that he published his collection of poems. I never saw Andrei write them... He was obsessed with sorcerers, he always went to some elders. One day I even took my mother to a friend of mine, the sorcerer Vasilich, who lived in Istra, at a camp site. He took only his closest people to this protected place. Vasilich’s guests drank tea, sat by the fire, and talked about mysticism.

It seems to me that he looked for new sources of energy from such people. Charging. And then Andrei was often sick: constant sore throats, colds, runny noses. And he preferred unconventional methods of treatment.

Once upon a time, according to his stories, Juna helped him get out of severe depression. Andrey also knew a grandmother, Georgian Teri. She sold flowers at Belorusskaya, and he endlessly ran to her to tell fortunes on the coffee grounds. Terrible - horror! One day Andrei was admitted to the Central Clinical Hospital with pneumonia. So this Teri handed him a newspaper into his room, all covered in pencil. Andrei put this newspaper with mysterious lines to his chest and lay there for hours. "What is this?" - I was surprised. "Medicine. Only it will help me,” he said with conviction. It seems to me that he trusted anyone, but not me.

Before the hospital, Andrei was at home. He had a very difficult time with the disease: high fever, delirium and a terrible cough. I didn’t leave his side, fed him tea from a spoon and changed my shirts, wet from sweat, every hour.

Suddenly, waking up, Andrei called his friend: “Come…” This man immediately rushed to his call and, pushing me aside, began to look after him. He also took Andrei to the hospital. I was very offended and told my husband about it. In response, he, as always, remained silent...

When Andrei was discharged from the hospital, I rushed to the market: I bought meat, fish, and vegetables. His mother came, looked at me with hatred and said: “Only grated carrots will help him!” I remember she once complained to my mother: “Zhenya spends so much money. Why cook so much?”

— You dropped the phrase that you and Sokolov had common interests - hunting, fishing...

— Once we were hunting with Andrei near Ryazan. September. Slush. He left me alone in a dark field and said: “Now I’ll chase the ducks for you. Just try to miss!”

And opposite, by the way, there was a military base. I’m standing, shifting from foot to foot from the cold. I'm wearing my husband's sweater and rubber boots. He left and disappeared! No ducks, no Andrey. But I, as an honest squire, did not dare to disobey. The already hungry foxes began to cut circles around. Thank God, Andrei’s friends remembered me and took me away for the winter.

From the outside we probably looked very comical. Usually, Andrei walked ahead through the forest - a tall, stately man, followed by me - small, frail, wearing clothes three sizes too big, with a huge gun slung over my shoulder. And he still hissed at me: “Quiet! Don't stomp! You’ll scare away all the animals!” My fellow hunters looked at me strangely and probably thought: “Yes, Andrei’s young wife is a good looking batman, and that’s all!” Moreover, in addition, I did all the dirty work - cleaned the gun, butchered the game...

One day we went on a winter hunt to Pereslavl-Zalessky. There we had to stand waist-deep in snow, waiting for a roe deer. Unfortunately, the poor animal was eventually killed. In fact, Andrei could not even watch how carcasses were freshened or fish were cleaned. I remember once there was very successful fishing. Andrey looked from me to the fish tank in complete confusion. I then thought: “It’s normal that I married a man who doesn’t know how to clean fish.”

What fish is there! Nothing beats butchering game. The meat is dark, bloody, covered in wool and films. And the smell of freshness! This is not at all the meat that is bought at the market. Andrey was even afraid to look at him - he would throw the hare carcass on the table and run away. I’m up to my elbows in blood and fur... Some special hunting knives, what were they worth! They also have a terrifying appearance - with saws, teeth, incredible sizes. Moreover, they were so sharp that if handled carelessly, you could easily cut off your own hand.

Then I baked wild meat in the oven for another twelve hours. Once, after another “execution,” I went to visit my mother. She was horrified: “Oh my God, you smell so bad! Like from a cook in a cheap tavern! What do you do? What are you eating?

And it was impossible to explain to his mother that Andrei loved hunting. That nothing pleases him more than walking through the forest. He listened to any rustle, and when he saw wood grouse, he rushed after them. All I could hear was: “Zhenya, don’t hesitate! Shoot! For some reason he kept throwing me into the breach. I had to sadistically shoot the poor birds and even cook dinner out of them. It's strange, but I've never seen him shoot while hunting. I should have done this. Why does he need so many weapons at home then?

By the way, Andrey ate what I cooked with great pleasure. I remember we killed a wild boar while hunting. Naturally, I had to conjure it for a long time, cooking it over a fire. Andrei then ran around with a piece of meat and suggested to everyone: “Just try how Zhenya prepared the meat! Fabulous!" At that moment I thought: “It would be better if you told me how I cut it up and cleaned it.”

Andrey was very afraid of the cold, he always wrapped himself warmly. Once we had to spend the night in a small hut in the forest while waiting for dawn. There were four of us - three men and me. Before going to bed, they sat at the table, had dinner and entertained each other with all sorts of scary stories. Finally we began to go to bed, at five in the morning we had to go hunting again. It's cold and damp in the hut.

Andrei began to prepare a bed for himself: he took several blankets, a jacket, and covered himself with a blanket on top. The men looked at him in surprise, someone couldn’t stand it: “Andrey, at least cover your wife with a blanket!”

— Why didn’t the press write about your couple?

- Andrey hid the fact that we were married. I was a secret to everyone. When I once saw his interview in a magazine, where he starred against the backdrop of someone else’s red brick country house, I was shocked. Andrei told the journalist that his family has always been only his mother. So it turns out I wasn’t there at all? Not only did he hide me from everyone, he also didn’t allow me to answer the phone! I still don’t understand why he needed this marriage? For me, everything was real...

A couple of times, however, Andrey introduced me as his wife. Once at the Moscow Film Festival, some gangster-looking men were next to us. One of them, introducing himself as a producer, began to court me. Andrei sat silently next to him. Only when he became insolent and began to ask for a phone number, Andrei intervened and said: “This is my wife.” The “producer” almost fell from surprise.

Once again, at the Pushkinsky cinema, he introduced me to his friend Anna Terekhova. She didn’t even say hello to me, she burst out laughing in response to Andrey’s message and, without saying anything, left...

And then I asked Andrey: “Why did you marry me?” He replied: “Because I really wanted you sexually...”

— And Andrey didn’t tell anything about his novels? Was he married before you?

— Andrei was always surrounded by a million mysteries. He had a wedding ring lying in his nightstand next to the grenade, although he said that he had never been married before me. And his mother repeated this more than once. There was a photograph of a child on the nightstand. At first he told me that the child was his. "And where he?" - I ask. In response, he laughed: “I was joking. This is my godson."

There were no photographs of Andrei at all in the house: neither school nor student. I remember his mother kept some childhood photos of him. So strange... As if nothing had ever happened in his life.

I couldn’t understand his relationship with his cousin—she was somehow pathologically jealous of him. I remember calling me at night and asking mockingly: “Well, where is Andrei now? How do you think?" And he told me that he had left for filming...

In all his interviews, Andrei talked about a girl from kindergarten with whom he was in love at the age of four. Apparently, this girl was his only love in life. Now I understand that he never loved me...

Andrey and I lived only for a short time - one year. Our relationship fell apart. Oleg, a friend from my youth, appeared in my life. Andrei, as it turned out, turned out to be a very jealous person. Sensing something was wrong, he overheard our conversation. And he even recorded it on tape...

Oleg looked after me before meeting Andrey. And he even had certain plans for me. We never had physical intimacy, but we had spiritual intimacy. Once Andrei said that he knew about our meeting with Oleg in a cafe. I suspect that he hired a private detective to “expose” his unfaithful wife.

I was very worried about our breakup. At that time, it was very important for me - my marriage, Andrey... It seemed to me that fate had united us for life. After all, we got married in a church. And, by the way, it was Andrei who insisted on this. Then I thought that we would live our lives together and die on the same day. But they didn’t live and die. ..

— Andrey has always enjoyed great success with women. He is credited with having affairs with the most beautiful actresses...

- I wasn’t jealous of Andrey. She gave him absolute freedom, never asked him about anything, never inquired about why he came late.

Being his wife, I never knew whether he was a womanizer or not.

Andrey himself tried to make me feel jealous. He enthusiastically talked about his affair with Patricia Kaas, about how they met at some party and she fell madly in love with him: she went on dates with him. He also scattered letters from his fans throughout the apartment. By the way, I was never indignant or asked why he kept them so carefully. Maybe he wanted me to read them for bedtime?

- So, you are to blame for your divorce, Zhenya?

“If Andrei wanted to stay with me, he probably would have given me the opportunity to at least explain myself. But the conversation did not take place...

With a recording of my telephone conversation, Andrei came to my father. I let him listen to it. By the way, he constantly complained about me to my parents. They, in his opinion, should have transferred all his complaints to me...

The parents were terribly outraged by Andrei’s act. They said that husband and wife should solve their problems themselves.

I'm sure everything would become clear in the end.

If not for one incident. The last straw in our breakup was that I dared to pick up the phone and talk to his friend from Canada. "What? - he was surprised. - Wife? Ha ha ha! Andrey got married? Can't be! I wonder how long?”

Surprisingly, Andrei immediately found out about this conversation; perhaps the phone was wiretapped. He was so furious at my disobedience that he immediately called me from the set and announced: “I’m divorcing you!” Moreover, he spoke to me like a failed bandit: “Well, kisulya, are you tired of living? I warned you..."

And with my mother he behaved like Chertanov’s punks. She tried to talk to him, and in response, threats rained down: “If you decide to blurt out something, you will feel bad!” He sent me our divorce papers by mail.

Then someone told me that Andrei ran around churches and begged the priests: “I need to get married to my wife! She's crazy! I think he succeeded...

— Last year, in an interview with one of the newspapers, when asked: “Were you the wife of Andrei Sokolov?” you answered that you don’t know him at all...

— As I suspect, Stas Sadalsky told this newspaper about me. A journalist came to me and, in addition to neutral questions about my acting work, unexpectedly asked: “Wasn’t Sokolov your husband?” I denied everything.

Andrey forbade me to give any interviews. “Zhenya, don’t say a word to anyone! Don’t you dare take advantage of my popularity!” - he warned sternly. As if if I mentioned that I had anything to do with him, I would steal a piece of his fame! Andrei seemed to be terrified that someone would find out about his marriage. I even wanted to initially give an interview to all the newspapers to spite him after the divorce, but then I changed my mind. One day a man came to me and warned: “Zhenya, you better remain silent. Don't tell anyone that you were married to Sokolov. If you blurt it out somewhere, you’ll regret it!” .

..Andrey and I never met again. One day, several years after the divorce, I came to one of the law enforcement agencies - I needed a consultation. I was received in a huge meeting room. I looked around and froze in surprise - there was a huge portrait of Sokolov hanging on the wall. Expensive portrait, painted in oil. He clearly posed more than once for this portrait. Andrew was depicted in the pose of a Roman patrician. Half naked, he sat on a gilded throne. A scarlet robe is thrown over the shoulder, draping the sensitive areas. It was under this portrait that I received legal advice. This, I believe, was our farewell meeting...

- Why aren’t you afraid to talk about your marriage now?

— Everything is in the past... I have already starred in many films and TV series in Europe and Russia. I play in London at the National Theatre. I just finished filming two big budget American films. I have my own show on the British channel. I write scripts and dream of making a film based on Chekhov in Russia.

And most importantly, I have lived in England for a long time. Married a wonderful man

person. George is a Liberal politician and co-owner of IBM. Graduated from Cambridge. As a talented financier, George is included in the Who's Who directory. His hobby is racing cars. We met him by chance on the street and have not parted since then. I took him on an amazing trip to Taimyr, where scientists once found the skeleton of a small mammoth...

When Mom saw George for the first time, she exclaimed, “Oh my God! This is a copy of Henry VIII!” I'm offended. Compare my fiance with this murderer?! And he laughed: “What a great fellow your mother is!” She saw aristocratic roots in me!”

Half of England constantly spends the night in our house in London! My husband is a very generous person and loves his friends. And, thank God, he doesn’t like hunting. And he doesn’t have any skeletons in his closet or grenades in his nightstand...

Modeling career of Evgenia Guseva

In addition to a successful acting career, Evgenia was also able to prove herself well in the modeling business. And even though she did not have very positive memories associated with this line of work, she managed to make her name even more popular and recognizable.

Evgenia Guseva started as a model

Evgenia Guseva started as a model

It is worth noting that the girl did not get into this area on purpose. She needed to take a few pictures for herself, and it all turned out that the director of a modeling agency offered her a job. In return, the woman gave Evgenia a free, high-quality portfolio.

Having seen her pictures, the director of the Elite modeling agency became interested in the aspiring model. However, their cooperation never worked out, and all because Evgenia is not tall enough to be a model. Nevertheless, she was often invited to take part in highly paid photo shoots and even advertising campaigns for fashion brands. For example, the girl was chosen as the official face of their brand by such fashion giants as Guess, Sue Wong and French Connection.

Personal life

Evgenia also entered the history of the famous project thanks to her long and stormy relationship with one of the show’s participants, Alexander Zadoynov. TV viewers rejoiced in front of the screens, watching the romantic couple. But the guys had completely different ideas about happiness and love, so they soon broke up. The girl accused the guy of insolvency and chronic laziness. But Evgenia, of course, was not left alone: another participant in the project, Anton Gusev, began to court her. The guy’s intentions were so serious that after 3 months he proposed marriage to Evgenia. The lovers did not hide the reason for the hasty decision - Evgenia Guseva was expecting a child.

After the birth of the baby, the couple left the project for some time so that the young mother could recover from pregnancy and childbirth. Besides, it's obvious that the baby has no place on a television show. After a three-month absence, the couple appeared on the screens again, which delighted TV viewers and fans of the project. But the joy was short-lived; unable to withstand the onslaught of the team and presenters, Evgenia Guseva decided to leave the famous television kitchen forever.

Film career of Evgenia Guseva in Russia

In 2004, the detective television series “Kulagin and Partners” was released, in which Evgenia played one of the key roles for the first time.
This project is based on real stories, based on which the writers write each episode. A few years later, Evgenia began filming the melodrama Megapolis, in which she played the main role. The plot of the film tells the story of a single mother whose son accidentally disappeared in a large metropolis. Now among the main character’s main problems is not to find a loving husband, but to find a living son.

Evgenia Guseva in the film “Megapolis” In 2008, the actress appeared in the title role in the film “Contract Wife”. The girl appeared before the audience in the role of confident Natasha Pogozhina, who managed to build a successful television career, but did not find a worthy man. A few months later, Evgenia was invited to play a small role in the series “The Gift of God.” In the same year, the girl starred in the crime drama “Summer Resident,” appearing in the role of journalist Zhanna, who rents a dacha from a former bandit.

At the end of 2008, the premiere of the television series “Adrenaline” took place, in which Evgenia again played a key role. It is worth noting that before the broadcast of the series, her character was voiced by another woman, since the directors thought the actress’s voice was not melodious enough.

Modeling is a hell of a job

— What brought you to the fashion industry?

— I got there absolutely by accident. I went to take photographs, the simplest ones, at the lowest price. And the owner of the agency offered to work for her, promising to make me a free portfolio in return. Of course I agreed. Then the vice president of the Elite modeling agency called me. Although I was not suitable for them due to my short stature, these auditions became a starting point for me. I earned very little; they paid a maximum of 36 thousand dollars for a video. Some had to be given to the agency and taxes paid. And when the next shooting will take place is unknown.

IN THE FILM "MEGAPOLIS": she played a young mother who lost her child in the crowd

— You talk about this work without much enthusiasm.

“This is a very complex, strange and tragic business.
Girls constantly go hungry to drown out the feeling of hunger and turn to drugs. In the West, this profession is not at all prestigious. Every model dreams of opening her own business and saving up for university studies. Hell of a job, eyes burned out by spotlights. For us, this is some kind of bohemian life. Models are offered as escorts to wealthy men. In America, in all my practice, this has never happened. Our women don't value themselves at all. — Could you really be interested in a man with low financial resources? “The main thing for me is to fall in love.” Then this person is the best for me. I like guys my age or guys who are not much older. When there are common interests, a similar worldview. I don’t understand how you can be with a man who is old enough to be your father. Therefore, I never accept gifts that oblige me to something. -Are you in love now? - While there is no one next to me whom I would like to marry. - And I read that you were the wife of actor Andrei Sokolov... - I don’t know where the journalists got this from. We don’t even know each other; I’ve never seen him. I suspect that I have secret enemies who constantly attribute some actors or officials to me. There are many envious women in our world. - Any publication, rumor or gossip is good PR for a young actress... - I don’t need that. One of my friends told everyone that she was Guy Ritchie’s mistress. I warned her: don’t do this! Of course, Madonna is far away, but there is word of mouth. And after a series of publications, she was attacked near her house and beaten very badly. Such fictions don’t just end like that. — You lived in the West for a long time, probably didn’t try to put a stamp in your passport? — By the way, their attitude towards the institution of marriage is much more serious than ours. Russian men are spoiled in this regard. Maybe because there are much fewer of them than women. Everywhere, on the contrary, they meet a girl and try to marry her as quickly as possible. As for me, I am not yet striving for official marriage. — Could you forgive your beloved man for betrayal? - No, the sediment is too heavy. I haven't cheated on anyone myself. I am also familiar with unrequited love. But the pain of love is also beautiful in its own way.

Personal life of Evgenia Guseva

Evgenia tries to carefully hide all the details about her personal life and not get involved in any scandals.
However, sometimes the actress still becomes a victim of the yellow press. For example, in the early 2000s, she was involved in a scandal involving actor Andrei Sokolov. According to journalists, Evgenia claimed to be married to the actor, while he in every possible way denied her arguments. In fact, they were indeed married, but it was not happy and lasted only from 2000 to 2001. After this incident, Evgenia had several more famous and influential men, whose names she did not disclose.
