Elena Nikolaeva was born in 1985 in the capital of Uzbekistan - sunny Tashkent. There, surrounded by a friendly family, the future journalist spent her childhood. Her grandparents worked in aviation construction, and her parents were mathematicians, but during the crisis of the 1990s they chose a more profitable field and moved with their children to Moscow, where Lena graduated from school, like her brother.
