Kozakov Kirill Mikhailovich

Biography

Kirill Kozakov is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor who gained all-Russian fame after starring in the film adaptation of “The Countess de Monsoreau” and in the mystical detective story “The Fifth Watch.”
Kirill was born into a famous creative family. Kirill’s father is the famous actor Mikhail Kozakov, star of the Soviet science fiction film “Amphibian Man.” And mother Greta Taar worked as one of the leading costume designers on Central Television. The family also raised Kirill’s younger sister, Ekaterina.

When the boy was three years old, the parents of the future artist separated. But Kirill maintained a warm and friendly relationship with his father. Mikhail Mikhailovich taught his son to classical fiction, and also gradually encouraged his son to choose any profession other than acting.

As a result, after school, Kozakov Jr. tried many specialties, without even thinking about continuing the dynasty. So, Kirill was a concrete paver, postman, baker, cook, lighting designer, and installer. But at some point, the innate craving for creativity won out. Although Kirill initially intended to enter the directing department of the Moscow Art Theater School, he changed his mind during the exams and became a student in the acting department of the M. S. Shchepkin Higher Theater School.

During his career, he changed many theaters: Kozakov performed at the Russian Army Theater, the Moscow New Drama Theater, and spent the longest time on the stage of the theater on Malaya Bronnaya.

He has more than a hundred film roles and 20 directorial works to his credit. The personality of this talented person is multifaceted. And today we remember what he was like, what he lived and breathed.

Mikhail Kozakov was born and lived in the most ordinary family. His father was a writer, and his mother worked as an editor at one of St. Petersburg's publishing houses. Parents were constantly at work, constantly busy with work and business, they hardly had a free minute. And even under such circumstances, the Kazakovs found time for their son and paid due attention to his upbringing. Young Mikhail was brought up by communication. They often talked with him about literature and poetry. At home over tea, young Mikhail Kazakov literally dissolved in creativity and listened to his family with rapture. At this moment, it seemed that no one around existed. The world froze for a moment. Only little Mikhail Kazakov, his mom and dad.

Mikhail Mikhailovich has a mixture of blood in his family. There is also a Jewish one, also a Serbian-Greek one, which the actor inherited from his mother’s relatives. Mikhail Kozakov's mother and grandmother were arrested, which the director recalls with reluctance. These were difficult times for his family, but they persevered. But everything ended well. Apparently, this was an important stage in the development of a future talented person.

And after graduating from school, Kozakov makes an important decision in his life, namely, to enroll in a choreography school. He studied poorly, failed in almost all subjects, but loved literature very much. The future director was lazy and restless by nature. Relatives, of course, did not like this behavior, but they could not improve the situation. I had to adapt to the situation and not see any pranks and antics of my child. After graduating from school, Mikhail Kozakov decided to receive, in the opinion of his parents, a serious specialty. But Mikhail Mikhailovich had to endure disappointment. The dream of becoming a surgeon did not come true, because it became bad as soon as the young man entered the morgue building. Then Mikhail devoted his energies to the study of chemical reactions. And then failure awaited him. He was poisoned by chlorine. Finally, Kozakov was given the blessing to choose what he really liked. He gave preference to the stage. And I didn’t regret it.

After graduating from college, Mikhail Kozakov sets off to conquer the hero city of Moscow. His dream was to enter the Moscow Art Theater School. And Mikhail managed to achieve it. After all, from a young age he was accustomed to achieving his goals.

And the artist truly felt his greatest share of popularity later, when the viewer saw on the screens the sensational picture of that time, “Amphibian Man.” Kozakov managed to very accurately convey the image of Zurita, the villain and main instigator. And after some time, another film by Mikhail Kozakov, which the creator called “Nameless Star,” will appear on the horizon of the film industry. The film was a success, but still it cannot be compared with the success that will be achieved at the Pokrovsky Gate after a while. Without hesitation, they were sorted into quotes, and the performers of the main roles and the creator literally woke up famous. The film is the autobiography of Mikhail Kazakov, which he dedicated to our capital in the years of his youth and heyday. The series takes place in France during the famous religious wars between Catholics and Huguenots. At the same time, the hero of Kirill Kozakov is the chosen one, who is destined to kill Dracula and defeat the Dark Forces. This picture has already survived several seasons.

In the wake of the popularity of his own star roles, the actor became a guest of the mystical TV show “The Invisible Man.” This is a show hosted by Evelina Bledans. It is dedicated to how a number of specialists with supernatural abilities or deep professional knowledge - a magician, fortune teller, shaman, palmist, as well as a psychologist and criminologist - try to tell facts from the biography of the invited guest. At the same time, the star guest sits in a closed Secret Room, and the heroes of the program do not see or hear him, but they have a sample of the guest’s blood and a number of his personal belongings.
