Modern couples most often separate the official registration of marriage at the registry office and the celebration itself, arranging them on different days. And yet I want the day when you officially become husband and wife to leave pleasant memories. We will not tell you unequivocally which registry office to choose in Moscow, but will simply show you several options. Beauty is a rather subjective concept, so in our selection you will find registry offices for every taste: with classic and modern interiors, spacious and cozy, with different color schemes and interesting details.
Kutuzovsky Civil Registry Office
The second most popular, both among famous celebrity couples and among ordinary people, is the Kutuzovsky Civil Registry Office. The prestige of this registry office is largely due to its location on Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The absence of crowding and crowding makes it possible to easily accommodate a large number of cars participating in the ceremony, which is very important, given Moscow traffic jams.

This form is not accidental: thanks to it, the flows of those getting married in the registry office do not intersect and do not interfere with each other. The entrance and exit are in different places, and raising the roof allows more light into the room, which is especially important for a formal hall. The registry office was designed as a whole complex - with a foyer, a cloakroom, and kiosks selling flowers and souvenirs. Its important element was the wide staircase at the exit for the ceremonial appearance of the newlyweds.
Izmailovsky
Do not confuse this registry office with the DB of the Izmailovo Kremlin. This department was included in the list of the most beautiful registry offices in Moscow not for its rich decoration, but simply for its clean, neat appearance. Here you won’t have to overpay for the ceremony, worry and wait in line for six months. Izmailovsky is not a prestigious registry office, but it is well suited for photography.
Not far from the registry office is the Izmailovsky Forest, where you can take a walk immediately after the ceremony. But with a cafe there is a problem: to the nearest restaurant you will have to walk or drive the entire street.
Bogorodsky
Bogorodsky is considered a beautiful registry office in Moscow. The registration hall is richly decorated: antique armchairs and a sofa, golden-white glass curtains. It's spacious enough to accommodate many guests. In the waiting room, couples can enjoy a soft sofa. Nevertheless, the color combinations in the interior here are sharper compared to Babushkinsky.
Nagatinsky registry office
This beautiful Moscow registry office is located in a very attractive location: almost on Nagatinskaya embankment, and next to it there are green parks and squares where you can take wedding photos. You can also visit the Kolomenskoye estate, where you can walk along shady alleys and visit the Kazan or Ascension Church.
The registry office itself is located on the 1st floor of a residential building. At its entrance, guests are greeted by a sculpture - a young couple, personifying tenderness, love and respect, and a huge flowerbed with colorful flowers. The registry office hall is spacious: they can easily accommodate relatives and friends of the newlyweds. Its walls are painted pink and decorated with:
- cornices;
- columns;
- stucco.
The hall has comfortable soft pink poufs and sofas on which you can sit while waiting for the ceremony. But the main decoration of the hall is a brown-green panel with a fancy floral pattern in the form of intertwined vines. This drawing symbolizes the eternal union of lovers. It goes perfectly with a crystal chandelier and wooden furniture upholstered in pink velor.
Savelovsky
Savelovsky is recognized as one of the most beautiful registry offices in Moscow: a spacious waiting room with a large photograph of the Kremlin, where you can find comfortable sofas, light tulle that allows the sun's rays to pass through well.
The wedding hall is quite elongated, that is, the guests are far from the immediate wedding ceremony. Despite this, the distance doesn't seem too far in the photos, as the room looks filled with plenty of chairs and columns, a massive rug and a lush chandelier.
Gagarinsky registry office
This registry office in Moscow is known as one of the most visited. It is located on the 1st floor of an 8-story building according to the Lenin project. Several years ago it was renovated and the interior was changed:
- soft blue sofas and carved wooden furniture were installed;
- lamps and paintings, large mirrors are placed on the walls;
- Marble tiles are laid on the floors.
Each hall of the Gagarin Registry Office differs in design and is made according to an individual project, so it will not leave any of its visitors indifferent. The only drawback of this department is the lack of parking, so wedding cars often accumulate in large numbers in front of it. A souvenir photo can be taken both indoors and outdoors, among the beautiful trees and flower beds surrounding the building.
Khoroshevsky registry office
This registry office is located on the 1st floor of a residential high-rise building. The rooms are small, but nevertheless charming and cozy. The newlyweds and about 15 people accompanying them can comfortably fit here.
The halls of the Khoroshevsky registry office are intended for:
- holding a ceremony;
- photo session that takes place while waiting for registration.
The hall of the establishment is lined with leather sofas and carved chairs, on which you can comfortably sit while waiting for the special moment. Its walls are painted beige and decorated with thin elegant stucco, decorative inserts and mirrors, and the floor, on the contrary, is laid with dark tiles, stylized as natural parquet. Living plants in tubs enliven the interior.
The registration hall is designed in the same elegant style and color scheme as the hall:
- its beige walls are decorated with stucco, and on one of them there is a landscape painting;
- the huge windows are covered with draped blue-green curtains;
- The multi-level ceiling is decorated with built-in contour lighting and a massive chandelier.
In general, the design of the registration room is kept in strict taste, without pomp and cheap gilding, which is not always liked by modern people.
Outside registration
If you want to make the wedding truly comfortable for the guests, and also not worry about the compatibility of the interior of the registration hall with the bride’s dress, the option of off-site registration is suitable for you, when the marriage documents will be signed in the place of your choice. It is likely that in some cases this will cost even less than a wedding in a registry office in terms of time and money (this is especially true for Wedding Palaces, where everything is scheduled six months in advance).
If you choose this option, pay attention in advance to choosing a place for the wedding. When a wedding begins with a ceremony, and afterwards the guests and newlyweds go to a cafe, as a rule, the place of on-site registration is the cafe itself. At the same time, it is convenient to invite friends and relatives in advance: while the audience is warming up, people will have time to eat and talk, the registrar will just arrive. After this, you can organize a dance or go on a wedding walk.
Izmailovo Kremlin
The Palace of Happiness in the Moscow Kremlin is made in the Russian style: the red ornament against the background of white walls looks picturesque and unusual. Some publications indicate the Palace of Happiness on the first line in the list of the most beautiful registry offices in Moscow.
The rooms in this registry office are varied: somewhere you can sit on a soft, quite modern sofa, while in another room you will find only antique furniture. If the registration hall is based exclusively on Russian themes, then at the exit from the Wedding Palace the interior changes somewhat and becomes more modern. This is not noticeable when shooting from the street: the bright azure walls with a bas-relief arch attract much more attention.
Ramensky Civil Registry Office
Not all registry offices in the near Moscow region surprise visitors with their exquisite interior, but the Wedding Palace in Ramenskoye exceeds all expectations.
A new building in the very center of the city appeared in 2007. The future spouses are greeted by a magnificent palace arch with columns, and inside there is a spacious guest room. The interior is decorated in pastel shades.
The registry office is equipped with two halls for ceremonial registration, rooms for the bride and groom, as well as a banquet hall. At the choice of the couple, the ceremony takes place to the sounds of a synthesizer or the music of a string quartet. The main hall is decorated in white and gold colors. Furniture in a classic style, columns, stucco, mirrors in magnificent frames and antique lamps. Thanks to the large windows and high ceilings, it is very spacious and bright.
After the ceremony, you can take wonderful photos - near the registry office there is a square and the “Adam and Eve” fountain, and across the road there is Victory Square and the memorial. Since its opening, a “wedding” infrastructure has developed around the Wedding Palace: jewelry stores, wedding dress salons, cozy restaurants, cafes and offices of celebration organizers.
Registering a marriage at the Ramensky registry office leaves the best impression. As for the shortcomings, reviews only note the presence of “beggars” near the entrance.
Griboyedovsky Civil Registry Office
This beautiful registry office is located in the center of Moscow, in an old mansion, erected at the beginning of the 20th century by order of the merchant A.V. Roerich. Inside the building, the ancient atmosphere has been preserved, which can be seen immediately as soon as you get inside:
- at the entrance, guests are greeted by a grand staircase inlaid with natural wood;
- The ceilings of the halls are decorated with magnificent antique stucco, and the walls are decorated with natural wood panels with carved cornices.
The Griboedovsky registry office is especially attractive due to the fact that many famous politicians, scientists and artists visited this building in their time. For many, this turns out to be a decisive factor in favor of choosing this particular institution for registering a marriage. The Griboyedovsky registry office in Moscow is so popular that long lines of people wishing to submit documents line up around it.
Serpukhov Civil Registry Office
A wedding photo shoot is a tradition without which it is difficult to imagine a celebration. After registration, the newlyweds visit attractions to take beautiful pictures. Due to traffic congestion, future spouses often choose registry offices in Moscow and the Moscow region, located on the territory of parks and estates.
Park named after Oleg Stepanov in Serpukhov is often called the newlyweds' park. In the warm season, at the main entrance you can see limousines and fairy-tale couples strolling along the main alley. The wedding palace is located in the heart of the park. This is a large building with magnificent interiors.
Reviews from the newlyweds note the excellent decoration of the hall and the musical accompaniment, and in good weather conditions the photographs against the backdrop of the mansion, ponds and ancient alley will turn out simply amazing.
Babushkinsky
Babushkinsky is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful registry offices in Moscow . The airy and light interior of the registration hall creates a feeling of comfort: soft light, blue and white tulle, floor in heavenly tones - everything is conducive to photography.
In the waiting room, newlyweds can enjoy a truly homely style: an electric fireplace, paintings, cozy armchairs and plants - the room seems to help calm down and tune in to the celebration. You can also take photos there, but the room is clearly inferior to the registration hall in terms of space and lighting.
Vernadsky Civil Registry Office
The Vernadsky Wedding Palace, although not distinguished by its elegant furnishings or historical interiors, has an important advantage for many newlyweds - one of the largest halls for a wedding ceremony in Moscow. The room is decorated with colored stained glass, and excellent lighting and acoustics allow you to fully appreciate the solemnity of the event. Another advantage of the Vernadsky registry office is its convenient location, thanks to which newlyweds and guests can easily travel to the observation deck near Moscow State University, as well as to Vorontsovsky, Filevsky park and Poklonnaya Gora.
Gagarinsky
The Gagarinsky registry office, located on Leninsky Prospekt, boasts a laconic interior in light colors. In August, Svetlana Bondarchuk chose him for her painting. The pure colors and geometric lines of the interior of the Gagarin registry office will be a real find if the stucco molding and other luxury elements of other registry offices rather turn you off.

Wedding Palace No. 3
DB No. 3 is considered a beautiful Moscow registry office not because of the richness of the interior, but because of its comfort. The waiting room is decorated in soft turquoise and white colors. Comfortable sofas, lighting convenient for photography. The cream-colored curtains are gathered at the sides, allowing sunlight to enter the room.
The ceremony hall is designed in blue tones, from the darkest shade to a light blue tint on the ceiling. The assembled curtains combine rich blue and beige colors. Mirrored doors create a feeling of enclosure in the room, as if the celebration is taking place separately from the rest of the world. In general, the room is cozy, but it does not accommodate many guests.
Tsaritsyn Civil Registry Office
Tsaritsyno is remote from the center, but it’s worth going there: the beautiful landscape of the estate allows for an unforgettable photo shoot, and you can have a real picnic on the grass nearby. The registration hall is small but cozy, just like the registry office itself. What makes it one of the most beautiful registry offices in the capital is its location, not its contents.
Unfortunately, there may be problems with the cafe: it is unlikely that you will be able to find a really good restaurant inside Tsaritsyno, so think about how to get to the place to eat in advance.
Levoberezhny
Levoberezhny is considered one of the best registry offices in Moscow due to its beautiful interior decoration: the hall is decorated in pink and yellow tones, a cozy waiting room with small columns and antique furniture, which will be an excellent place for a photo shoot.
But the entrance to the building is very aesthetic, so it’s better to take photos inside rather than outside.
Registry office at VDNKh
Unlike many other departments of the registry office, in this Wedding Palace the entire interior of the rooms is organized in a single style: red and golden tones can be found in any room from the waiting room to the marriage registration hall. A big advantage of the registration hall is the ability to accommodate many guests (more than 50), without the room looking cluttered. This is due to the filling of the room with white color, which visually expands the space.
Even though the ceremony at VDNH will cost a certain round sum, the location of the registry office has its advantages: nearby you will find places for competitions and walks, not to mention various restaurants.
