In which Moscow parks can you get married and celebrate the holiday?

Moscow Zoo

You can register your marriage in one of the oldest zoos in Europe. No, not among monkeys and elephants, as you might think, but in the Klyuev House museum-mansion, which is an architectural monument of the 19th century. By the way, this cultural heritage site was recently completely restored.

Klyuev House

After registration, the zoo offers lovers a pony ride and a look at exotic plants and animals. The lucky ones will be able to take a selfie with a giraffe, and guests will have every right to say: “It’s not a wedding, it’s a complete zoo.”

Wedding Venues

on-site registration at the Tsaritsyno estate

Wedding organizers of the Royal-Events holiday agency have the opportunity to arrange a wedding for you at a variety of venues on the Tsaritsyno estate. At your service are the ceremonial halls of the Grand Palace, the Opera House, the Small Palace, numerous lawns, park spaces, linden alleys and much more.

If you want to say the most important words to each other in a solemn and truly royal atmosphere, the Grand Palace is at your service, which amazes even the most biased clients with its interior decoration and centuries-old splendor. The highlight of the palace is the grand staircase.

The interiors of the Opera House will add romance and aristocracy to your ceremony.

An official wedding at the Tsaritsyno estate is possible only in three halls: the Kazakovsky Hall, the Blue Living Room and the Catherine Hall. Unfortunately, all other halls are available only for staged events.

On the territory of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve there is a huge restaurant complex that offers its services for holding a wedding banquet.

The restaurant in the estate in Tsaritsyno has at its disposal several halls designed for different numbers of invited guests (from 10 to 100 people), a summer veranda (up to 70 people) and a patio (up to 400 people).

Moscow Planetarium

Romantics who dream of spending their special day under the stars are advised to visit one of the largest planetariums in the world (and the oldest in Russia). Registration usually takes place in the Great Star Hall, and in the summer you can choose an open area - Sky Park or the Great Observatory.

The Sky Park contains ancient and new tools for understanding the Universe - sundials, the stone ring of Stonehenge, globes, and the Great Observatory has a unique telescope through which you can observe celestial bodies.

After registration, the newlyweds are invited to take part in a photo shoot. While the newlyweds are taking photos, guests will be able to listen to a tour at the Urania Museum or the Lunarium Museum and watch a film in the Great Star Hall.

Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve

An excellent option for a wedding ceremony is the residence of the great Moscow princes, known since the 14th century. “The Wedding Palace in Kolomenskoye” is the only registry office in Russia on the territory of the museum. For the registration ceremony, Kolomenskoye provides several venues to choose from - the Mansion of the Tsar and the Queen, the Theater Mansion in the Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, the Palace Pavilion of 1825 and the Atrium Exhibition Hall. You can also register outdoors here.

The bride and groom are offered various excursion and artistic programs. For example, His Serene Highness Prince Alexander Danilovich Menshikov can deliver a solemn welcoming speech before the wedding ceremony, and Empress Catherine the Great can give the “royal blessing” for the union of two loving hearts. Manor Lyublino

A worthy competitor to Kolomensky is the Lyublino estate, a monument to palace and park art of the 18th-19th centuries. In the 80s of the 17th century, it was owned by the famous Godunov family, and at the beginning of the 19th century, the estate was bought by a wealthy Moscow landowner Nikolai Durasov.

The estate offers registration at the Durasov Palace, the Theater School, the Palace Colonnade or the Theater School Gallery.

Since 2012, Kolomenskoye and Lyublino have registered more than 5.5 thousand marriages and received more than 200 thousand guests. The number of applicants increases every year, and interest in historical traditions grows.

Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve

The grandiose palace complex of the 18th century was built as a country residence for Empress Catherine II. Outstanding Russian architects worked on the construction for more than 20 years, but after the death of Catherine II, work stopped. The park became a place for country walks and picnics, some of the buildings were used as coffee shops and summer cottages, later they were occupied by communal apartments, and after large-scale restoration work the historical appearance of the ensemble was restored.

The Museum-Reserve invites you to register in the Catherine or Tauride Hall, the Blue or Musical Living Room and in the Small Palace. And in the Grand Palace you can hold a staged ceremony - a string quartet will play for lovers and guests, the newlyweds will dance their first dance to live music, and the master of ceremonies will conduct the celebration in an 18th-century costume.

Official and staged marriage registration

official registration in the Tsaritsyno estate

Official registration of marriage is carried out in strictly defined state rooms of the Catherine Palace and in the Opera House. Future newlyweds must submit an application in advance for the date they are interested in at the Tsaritsyn registry office.

The ceremony itself will take place in the atmosphere of the 18th century. At the wedding, guests will be greeted by a master of ceremonies who will tell them how the process will take place.

The newlyweds' entrance will be accompanied by a performance by a string quartet performing touching classical music.

If your wedding is held in the Opera House, then the mansion is at your complete disposal, and no one will interfere with your celebration.

An amazing adventure for the newlyweds will be horseback riding around the estate or boating.

Also on the territory of the estate there is a beautiful church in which the sacrament of wedding can be performed.

A symbolic wedding in the Tsaritsyno estate can be organized in an open-air tent anywhere in the park area and in some of the most beautiful palace halls

Vlakhernskoye-Kuzminki Estate

The estate of the Stroganov barons and the Golitsyn princes, known since the 18th century, attracted many guests - Russian emperors Peter I, Nicholas I, Alexander II, Empress Maria Fedorovna visited it, foreign delegations were received here and festivities were held. Now on the territory of the estate there is a museum where you can have a wedding.

At the openwork cast-iron gate, the young people will be met by a museum employee in a historical costume and invited to take a walk along Poplar Alley, and the guests will be told about the history of this place. Registration will take place in the cozy museum courtyard among flowering plants or in the Large Living Room. The newlyweds will be greeted in 19th-century style, look for a lucky horseshoe in a haystack, walk to the Horse Yard, and ride in a museum carriage.

Russian estate: the best places for a wedding

To choose from a fairly large list of interesting places, it is best not only to familiarize yourself with each of them by photos and descriptions, but also to read reviews about the locations you like and the organizers working with them, left by other couples.

When planning a holiday in the estate, you need to think through many points: will you need on-site registration, what scenario and style to choose, how will transport for guests be organized, is it possible to hold all events at the estate, including a banquet, or is only the formal part possible, are there any restrictions on connection with the venue.

When holding a celebration in an estate, various scenarios are possible.

  • Classic ball (you can choose different eras - the dress code for the guests, the design, the details, and the images of the newlyweds will be selected accordingly).

Editor's choice: Glass wedding: date and gift. Photo review

  • Costume ball.
  • Wedding in vintage style : here the scenario will not necessarily rest on historical realities - it is the “scenery” in the form of the surrounding nature and buildings that is important.
  • “Hussar Ballad ”: a wedding in the style of historical vaudeville.
  • Fairytale story: palaces and castles will act as scenery, and the plot can be any fairytale story, from Russian folk tales to Hollywood cartoons.
  • A holiday built on contrast with the surrounding landscapes: in this case, the choice of style will be limited only by your imagination.

Kuskovo Estate

The estate of Counts Sheremetev was intended for lavish receptions, theatrical celebrations and festivities. Then Kuskovo received the status of a museum-estate, and even later it was combined with the only ceramics museum in the Soviet Union, and today it is one of the world's largest owners of a collection of ceramics and glass from various countries - from antiquity to modernity.

Decoration of Kuskovo - Italian house. Previously, “small receptions” were held here and “rarities” were collected - rare works of art that turned the small palace into a museum. And today in the main White Hall you can register your marriage.

The holiday agency "Royal-Events" has ample opportunities to offer its clients various options, based on the price segment available to the client. We have experience organizing weddings in Tsaritsino with medium budgets and much higher. We have something to offer you.
