Childhood and adolescence
Daniil was born and raised in the very center of Moscow, not far from the Patriarch's Ponds. His father was replaced by his grandfather, Semyon Davidovich, a front-line soldier, a former military pilot, who did not let his mischievous grandson go down. But grandmother, Lyudmila Vasilievna, spoiled little Danya in every possible way and forgave all his pranks. Meanwhile, the boy grew up a hooligan, and his mother had to blush more than once for his antics at parent-teacher meetings.

Mom, Alla Semyonovna, taught psychology at Moscow State University and was an avid theatergoer. She often took her son to performances, and when Dana turned 12, she enrolled him in a youth theater studio on the Lenin Hills. But, despite the craving for acting, after graduating from school, Daniil decided to continue the family dynasty and become a psychologist.

Upon admission, he did not get the required number of points and got a job as an orderly in a mental hospital. It was a difficult period in his life, but a year later he successfully passed all the exams and became a student at the Faculty of Psychology at Moscow State University. Ironically, just at this time the deferment for students was canceled and he was drafted into the army.

Spivakovsky served in the Signal Corps from 1987 to 1989, first in the Ukrainian city of Shepetovka, then “moved” to Shuya. Having been demobilized, he returned to the university and soon became friends with the guys who played in the student theater. Daniel's passion for acting overwhelmed him with renewed vigor; he spent days at rehearsals and, by the end of his second year, decided to transfer to the theater department. The whole family opposed his idea, but the smart young man made a duplicate certificate and managed to become a student at GIGIS. It was not easy to study at two institutes, but the desire to become an actor was so great that Spivakovsky successfully coped with this task - to study simultaneously at two universities, and as a full-time student.

While still studying at GITIS, Daniil began acting on the stage of the Mayakovsky Theater and attracted the attention of director Sergei Artsibashev, who put in a good word for him. In one of his interviews, Spivakovsky said that after Artsibashev’s comedy “Adult Games,” where he played on the same stage with Olga Prokofieva and Igor Lifanov, a couple approached him, who, as it turned out, decided to get married that same evening after watching this performance. Well, after the premiere of this performance, critics wrote about Spivakovsky: “An easy-going, talented actor who knows how to portray a serious feeling with his timid intonations. At the age of 37, Daniil finally met the woman of his dreams, 18-year-old flight attendant Svetlana. The actor fell in love with the girl at first sight, but only knew her name and flight number. For about a month he sent notes on board, hoping that sooner or later they would reach the recipient. And finally, after another couple of months, they met. Six months after they met, Daniil took Svetlana to the registry office.

As Spivakovsky himself says, it was love at one sight.
He first saw Sveta on August 19, 2006, when he was flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg to shoot another film, and was literally fascinated by her beauty. To find the girl, Daniil had to strain all his connections and, through tenths of hands, persuade one of the Pulkovo employees to try to find her personal data.

Spivakovsky visited Pulkovo Airport for a long time in the hope of meeting the girl who stole his heart, or at least finding one of her crew members. In the end, he only managed to pass a note to the pilot with one of the passengers. In the evening, Daniil received a call, however, it was not her, but another Svetlana, because flight attendants rarely fly on the same route, although Daniil was lucky, the caller knew the same Sveta and asked her to contact him.
But even after this, the loving Spivakovsky could not make an appointment. At first, the girl did not believe in the seriousness of his intentions and considered everything a joke, and then circumstances and strong mutual employment interfered, since the actor was actively filming in Moscow, and Svetlana was flying to different cities.
We managed to meet only for 15 minutes near the Vitebsk railway station, after which she disappeared again for a whole month and a half and did not answer calls or any other attempts to contact her. When the actor almost despaired, the girl nevertheless agreed and explained the disappearance by saying that she needed to seriously think about everything.
After this, the relationship began to slowly but surely develop: common interests were discovered, joint acquaintances were made, and more and more often the lovers looked for opportunities to spend nights together. But even here, not everything was smooth, since the girl’s parents did not approve of their son-in-law, who was almost 20 years older than their daughter, and strongly doubted the success of their relationship.

Daniil Spivakovsky teaches acting at the Joseph Kobzon Institute of Theater Arts. However, he does not forget about working on the screen. In 2021, the actor appeared in the episodic role of a doctor in the film “Billion” with the participation of Vladimir Mashkov and Alexandra Bortich, as well as in the role of Startsev in the series “Woe from Wit”.
