Nikita Mikhalkov is a People's Artist, actor, director, producer and screenwriter. In recent years, he has been actively involved in entrepreneurship.
Born in October 1945 in Moscow in the family of a popular writer and famous writer. He studied at the music school at the conservatory for three years and during the same period attended the studio named after. Stanislavsky.

Personal life
The filmmaker's ancestors were artists, poets and writers. Older brother Andrey and nephew Yegor also chose the profession of film director.
He first married Anastasia Vertinskaya in 1966, and his son Stepan was born in the same year, but five years later the couple separated.
Two years after the divorce, he married Tatyana Mikhalkova for the second time. From this union, a daughter, Anna, was born in 1974, a year later a son, Artem, and in 1986, a second daughter, Nadezhda. Nikita Sergeevich has nine grandchildren.

Nikita Mikhalkov's apartment
The director's apartment is located in one of the historical places of the Patriarch's Ponds, in a house on Maly Kozikhinsky Lane, 4. The house was built in 1904, it used to house the Ladies' Trust for the Poor, and now the Moscow Kinospectakl theater.
The city apartment has not had a major renovation for many years, but according to the owner, the interior still looks fresh and modern. Mikhalkov is a supporter of larger and open spaces, so the living room is spacious, without unnecessary furniture. The only antiques here are a table and armchairs from the 16th century, brought from China.
One of the key ideas was to install an antique fireplace in the apartment. Unfortunately, the house plans did not provide for such construction, so the owners had to build an additional air duct and go through many authorities to legitimize the installation.
Nearby, in the residential complex “At the Patriarchs”, there is Mikhalkov’s studio “TRITE”. The seven-story complex appeared on the site of old historical buildings that were demolished under the TRITE project, which caused a scandal in the press in 2010.

Mikhalkov's family estate: where is it located?
Mikhalkov’s large country house in the village of Nikolina Gora along Rublevskoye Highway with an area of 554 sq. m. m was built on the site of an old dilapidated estate that belonged to the artist’s ancestors. Previously, this place was not considered prestigious: it included a graveyard and a monastery, and only later did a Russian village appear here. Since about the 20s of the 20th century, Nikolina Gora became the place of residence of cultural figures, scientists and nobility: Prokofiev, Veresaev, Kapitsa, Semashko, Mikhalkov.
The village where director Mikhalkov lives is located 20 km from Moscow, and the environmental situation here is still excellent. The places around the village are quite picturesque: some landscapes were even used in the filming of Mikhalkov’s famous film “Burnt by the Sun”. The village itself has a fairly developed infrastructure: there is a huge family club with a swimming pool, a restaurant, several shops and cafes serving organizations. The children and grandchildren of the residents attend a non-state gymnasium, an elementary school, and a kindergarten in a health-improving complex.

The country house is located on a large, beautifully landscaped area of several hectares. Next door is the house of Mikhalkov’s brother, A. Konchalovsky. The mansion itself is located right at the main gate, guest houses and other buildings are scattered around the site.
The main idea of landscape design is naturalness, closeness to nature. The paths are covered with stones and rubble, forming a bizarre network and bending around trees and shrubs, many of which are several decades old.

The main finishing material inside the cottage is valuable wood. Wood adds warmth and comfort to a home and creates a pleasant atmosphere. On the ground floor there is a living room and a kitchen, as well as a fireplace, a winter garden, a large sauna with a steam room and a plunge pool. There is no single style direction in housing design; each room is decorated in accordance with the wishes of the owners.
Kitchen
The kitchen is designed in an antique style, evoking thoughts of the post-war era, but is equipped with modern appliances. All the furniture here is dark brown, the floor is trimmed with beige tiles. Using zoning, the room is successfully divided into a kitchen and a dining room. Original details include a large chandelier, an arch above the tabletop and brightly colored bird figurines. The dining room has a large oval table with a light tablecloth, carved chairs and tall antique bookcases.
Fireplace Hall
Directly from the kitchen you can go into the living room with a fireplace, where the large Mikhalkov family likes to spend evenings. The combined floor made of marble and varnished boards looks luxurious, as does furniture made from elite types of wood. The feeling of royalty is enhanced by beautiful columns and bright lighting

Greenhouse
Near the stairs to the 2nd floor there is a winter garden - the favorite place of Nikita Mikhalkov’s wife. In addition to numerous plants in elegant pots and flowerpots, the greenhouse has a soft area with sofas and armchairs, a table and chairs with velor upholstery. The room is decorated in a classic style and contains a luxurious staircase made of carved wood.
Second floor of the house
On the floor above are the bedrooms. The rooms are small in size, but very cozy, you can have a good rest here. Also on the second floor you can find Mikhalkov’s office, which is decorated in a classical direction and decorated with photos, paintings and footage from film sets. Bathrooms and toilet rooms are also located here; there are six of them in the mansion.
Summer romance
Returning from the army, Stepan Mikhalkov, who missed female attention, asked his neighbor, a choreographer who choreographed the walks for models from the Fashion House, to introduce him to some girl for an easy summer romance. The choreographer gathered almost all the models at his home to watch some fashion show, and Stepan “accidentally” came in to exchange films.
He liked Alla Sivakova not even because of her appearance and obvious similarity to his mother. In fact, she was cheerful and cocky, she always tried to rein in Stepan and did not react at all to his attention. However, when he called the next day and blurted out into the phone: “I’m in love with you, let’s meet!”, the girl was taken aback, but agreed to the date. Alla had no idea that Mikhalkov Jr. used this technique many times, and it never let him down.
Their “summer romance” lasted 12 years, and Stepan Mikhalkov and Alla Sivakova married when their daughter Sasha was almost 3 years old. In the Optina Desert, Father Meskhisidek refused to give Stepan communion because he was living in sin, then they decided to legalize their relationship. Following their daughter, the couple had two sons, Vasily and Peter.
By this time, Stepan Mikhalkov managed to enroll and drop out three years later from the Institute of Foreign Languages, and then graduated from the Moscow Film School and starred in several films. Later he was attracted to producing activities, and then he, together with his best friend Fyodor Bondarchuk, opened one of the first private film studios, Art Pictures Group, which specializes in the production of music videos and commercials. 10 years later, in 2001, he had another joint venture with Bondarchuk and Arkady Novikov - the Vanil restaurant. Later, two more restaurants and a whole chain of cafe-bakeries appeared.
But the wonderful “summer romance” ended after 13 years. Neither Stepan Mikhalkov nor his ex-wife are inclined to discuss their personal lives and the reasons that led them to divorce.

Two years after the divorce, Stepan Mikhalkov met a fairly successful model Elizaveta Ilyina in his own restaurant “Vanil”. They found themselves in a common company, which Stepan then invited to continue the celebration in his house. Lisa refused, but Mikhalkov, as usual, found the right words to persuade the girl to go with her friends to visit him.
Elizabeth, as best she could, drove away thoughts of the owner of the house. She had no intention of becoming one of those who are crazy about a successful businessman, and even a representative of a famous dynasty. She was going to continue her modeling career, especially since she had already participated in prestigious shows in London and Paris. However, a meeting with Stepan Mikhalkov made adjustments to her plans.
On the first day of spring 2008, Stepan Mikhalkov married for the second time, and six months later he held a magnificent wedding in Arkhangelskoye. After the wedding, Lisa realized: now she is a public person and must accompany her husband everywhere. But if social events can sometimes be skipped, then the Mikhalkov family receptions are simply impossible to ignore. However, Stepan’s second wife does not complain at all: she is truly happy with her loved one. In 2021, Stepan and Elizabeth had a son, Luka. She was also able to make friends with her husband’s older children.
After his second marriage, Stepan Mikhalkov changed a lot. He no longer needs to prove anything to anyone, he has achieved success and can now devote his life to what he truly likes. He devotes a lot of time to his family, enjoys working with his youngest son and admits that he took too little part in raising his older children. Now, of course, he would behave differently.
However, he always had his own view of everything that happened around him. When his wife decided to seriously engage in landscape design, he did not believe that anything would come of her business project. They even had to turn to a family psychologist to avoid conflicts on this basis.
Stepan Mikhalkov considers himself a happy man and sincerely believes that his children will become worthy successors to the Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky family. Moreover, a little less than a year after the birth of Luka, daughter Sasha made her father happy with the birth of her first grandson. Their dynasty continues, and Stepan Nikitovich himself now passes on the family values that were once instilled in him to his children and grandchildren.
Lately, Nikita Mikhalkov’s eldest daughter Anna has been constantly in the spotlight of the press: at 45, she looks better than at 35, and her latest work in the series “An Ordinary Woman” and “Storm” has earned a lot of accolades from film critics. Family education
His parents, Nikita Mikhalkov and Anastasia Vertinskaya, were young, ambitious and talented. The birth of their son was a happy event for them, but in the future, none of them was going to devote themselves to family and children. Natalya Petrovna, of course, came to the rescue.
In the huge country house on Nikolina Gora there was enough space for everyone. At first, Yegor Konchalovsky and Stepan Menshikov grew up with their grandparents, and gradually other offspring of Andron Konchalovsky and Nikita Mikhalkov joined them. The grandchildren rarely saw their honored grandfather Sergei Vladimirovich, but they were not upset about this: he was quite strict and restrained in expressing his feelings.
If Sergei Mikhalkov came out of town, then the whole family gathered at the dinner table, and everyone, even the grandchildren, behaved decorously. However, if Nikita Sergeevich was at home, it was also not possible to play particularly pranks with him. But when the children stayed with Tatochka (as Natalya Petrovna Konchalovskaya was called in the family), they could easily deceive their grandmother and misbehave to their heart's content. If their pranks were revealed, then just one look from Tatochka was enough for them to feel the full gravity of their offense.
However, their hooliganism did not cause any particular harm to anyone. Unless they could play pranks on younger family members, ruin sisters’ dolls, or get into fights with local boys who got into the area. And in adolescence, Yegor and Stepan learned to slowly empty the reserves of the famous “konchalovka” - vodka infused with currant buds.
But at the same time, the heirs of a famous family learned their first lessons in behavior, the basics of morality and family values there, in a country house on Nikolina Gora. And to this day, when making an important decision, Stepan Mikhalkov, first of all, thinks about what Tatochka would say to this.
Stepan Mikhalkov received his certificate at the school for working youth. This gave him a certain freedom of action and eliminated the need to attend classes every day. After graduating from high school, he went to serve in the Navy.
