The first time I visited Sochi was when I was in 8th grade. In the first minute I fell in love with this sunny and green city! A few years later, after graduating from college, I moved to Abkhazia. I almost immediately dismissed the ceremonial registration of marriage after I looked at the photos on the Internet. One Sochi registry office seemed Soviet to me, another was too pompous, the third was decorated with siding... In short, I didn’t want such wedding photos for myself. I thought it would be a sin not to take advantage of nature and the weather and began to dream of registering my marriage outside. I was one hundred percent sure that this service was provided by the registry offices. But I was disappointed. By law they have no right to do this.
Then we decided to simply register early in the morning on the wedding day, and have a mock wedding in a beautiful place. For registration, we chose the registry office of the Khostinsky district. Exactly one month in advance, you need to come there together and submit an application (you need a passport with you), where you can pay the state fee at the Sberbank ATM. After submitting the application, we were given a nice piece of paper stating that our marriage would take place on May 7 at 9 o’clock in the morning. We were asked to arrive in advance.
On the appointed day, we arrived at the registry office in the morning, not in wedding dresses. My husband's parents were with us, and therefore the registry office employees carried out the registration solemnly. It was very exciting. Now I regret a little that we didn’t take photographers with us. At that moment they were taking off our outfits, rings, shoes, and all sorts of little things at the hotel, so as not to waste time on it later.

Initially, I considered the option of getting my hair done by a hairdresser at home. But then I thought: what about the process of creating the image of the bride? You also want to capture it as a memory. I dreamed of photographs in a beautiful interior. A little later, I found out that the hotel we rented for the bride and groom’s preparations had an excellent beauty salon, Enigma. This was very convenient for us; we wouldn’t have to go anywhere, but just go down to the beauty salon in the morning. The evening before the wedding, I met with the stylist to discuss the details of the hairstyle. On the wedding day, after the registry office, I came to the salon. I didn’t like the way they did my hair. That’s to put it mildly. It fell apart after 20 minutes. The hairdresser said that it was all because of my veil, that it was very heavy. But you can see in the photo that the veil is not long, and I have met brides with a veil that reached the floor, and it stayed in their hair perfectly.
The makeup suited me quite well. But the hairstyle, of course, really let me down. By 5 pm it was practically hair down. And my entire image cost 7 thousand rubles. On top of everything else, it took me over 3 hours to do my hair. Because of this, we did not have time to go to most of the places where we planned to take photographs. And most importantly: just imagine my mood. It took me a while to relax and start smiling.
