A year ago, no one had heard the story of a thirteen-year-old boy, but today many news reports talk about him. Dani’s family is not very wealthy - the boy’s father works as a driver, and his mother has not worked since the birth of her son, devoting all her time to raising Daniil. The three of them live in a two-room apartment, but due to the fact that their house is very old, during bad weather the wall leaks, and later terrible mold appears on it. Dampness and mold negatively affect Danil’s illness, which is why his parents are very worried.

The first signs of Danila’s illness, according to his mother, began to appear when the boy was not yet a year old - he stopped gaining weight and height. The guy was first hospitalized in 2003.
Later, doctors gave Danil a disappointing diagnosis. Daniil is sick with an incurable genetic disease, due to which the guy does not grow. Due to his illness, it is difficult to determine how old he is, because at the age of thirteen the height of the talented boy remains less than a meter. Knowing what is happening to him, the singer remains very sociable and cheerful. Many doctors tried to help Daniil cope with the disease, although this did not produce any results.
Danil Pluzhnikov: biography
Danil Pluzhnikov was born in Adler, the regional center of one of the four inner-city districts of the resort city of Sochi.
The boy was born into a family where both parents love music. Mom sings and plays the piano, father plays drums and guitar. It is not surprising that little Danya, having barely learned to speak, was already singing all the songs from “The Bremen Town Musicians” at karaoke. The clear and cloudless sky above this family began to become covered with clouds when Danila was 10 months old. Mom noticed that her son stopped growing and gaining weight. At first, the doctors reassured him and did not share their suspicions, but soon made a disappointing diagnosis: the boy had spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia of the upper and lower extremities. This is a complex systemic bone disease.
But life went on. And the courageous parents did everything in their power to ensure that their son received from this life everything that it could give him. Danil Pluzhnikov studies at school. True, the home learning method was chosen for him: 4 lessons with teachers and 7 more on the Internet. At the same time, the boy does not demand any concessions for himself and does not allow himself to relax: he is an excellent student.
Dani has many hobbies. He loves to ride a skateboard and a special scooter that resembles a two-seater mini-car. He also loves to draw and writes poetry. But the main love of Dani’s life is music.
Several times a week, parents take their son to a music school, where he diligently practices vocals. Not long ago, Danil Pluzhnikov began composing instrumental music, choosing a tune on a synthesizer.
The first victories were not slow to appear. In the first year of vocal lessons with her favorite teacher Victoria Brandaus, Dana received 11 awards. Pluzhnikov regularly attended various music competitions, some of which were held far from his native Sochi. Now the young performer has more than 20 1st degree medals and 7 2nd degree awards.
In 2014, when the Olympic Games were held in Sochi, Danil Pluzhnikov also did not stand aside. He was invited to meet the Paralympians, and he gladly agreed.
This small man - only 98 centimeters - has a huge and kind heart. The boy, bearing the burden of his own difficult fate with dignity and courage, is engaged in charity work. He visits the Moscow Oncology Center, where he sings and plays the synthesizer for the youngest patients.

He takes a responsible approach to education, so he has excellent grades in all subjects.
Preparation for the project
Take part in the song show “The Voice. Children" Danila was advised at one of the vocal competitions in which Danila Pluzhnikov took part. Over four years of music studies, the aspiring singer received dozens of different awards. In the first year of working on vocals alone, he won eleven competitions.
Having learned more about the project “Voice. Children,” Danil was inspired by the idea of taking part in the competition. Mom and the teacher went through different songs, trying to find the most suitable composition for the casting; they were also worried whether young Pluzhnikov would like this choice. After all, according to parents, the key to success is emotions during singing, which truly touches the performer’s heart.

“Danka really wanted to participate in this competition and he submitted an application on the Internet, I only helped him,” says Irina Afanasyeva. “He was very happy when he passed the casting, then the blind auditions. — Of course, there was great excitement and great tension. It’s very difficult—it’s a live broadcast, after all. But I, like the guys who were in the top three with me, managed it. Lisa and Damir are very good, there was no competition between us at all, we always rooted for each other, communicated and wished good luck.
— What do you remember most and what impressions did your mentors — Bilan, Pelageya, Agutin — make?
— Every moment on the project was precious, and participation in it gave me just a tremendous experience. But I can’t single out anything. You know, all mentors are good in their own way, but I only keep in touch with Dima Bilan. We call him and discuss various topics - we talk about music, about life. We communicate very well with him.

Danil rides around the neighborhood on a specially equipped scooter. To be honest, I was afraid to let him go, even in the neighborhood, on the sidewalk. But then our dad took the floor: “Are you coddling him like he’s a little child, he’s already an adult guy, responsible, he understands everything perfectly.” Yes, he really understands everything perfectly and you can trust him. Danya sits on this scooter and controls it perfectly. There are joysticks and special controls for the disabled.
I always try to build on what Danil likes and what he has a penchant for. First I see it all, and then I put it into action. Because I wouldn’t take him to music school if I didn’t see that he was doing something.
Not everything goes smoothly, sometimes you have to push, force - Danya is the most ordinary teenager.
But in general, our transition is going smoothly. Danya is wise beyond his years. In many respects, I try to talk to him as an equal, like an adult.
Although sometimes it happens that he doesn’t listen, he’s stubborn, I can’t stand it, but I’ll hit the table with the words: “So, quickly go clean your room, as long as you can tolerate the disorder!”
Despite Danila’s sore legs, I force him to take care of me, because my husband and I understand perfectly well that we are not eternal, and he must learn to live without us. God grant that this happens as late as possible. For my son's sake.
So we have “fights” over cleanliness and order. But in general, I repeat, Danil has been an adult for a long time. He and I are friends. He tells me very confidential things that he probably doesn’t tell anyone else.
