Darya Dontsova

But above all, Dontsova is known as a woman who managed to defeat cancer. Her experience helps her inspire hundreds and thousands of sick people to fight the disease.

Possible options

* If you suffer from the symptoms of the first group, then the thyroid gland has probably decreased its function. She needs help in the form of medications containing thyroxine hormones. You will have to take this drug for many years, and sometimes for your entire life. But there is no need to be afraid. It does not make you fat, but on the contrary, your figure regains its former slimness, the skin regains its elasticity, and the hair becomes thicker. There was even a fad abroad: absolutely healthy women, in pursuit of youth, took thyroxine. But it is not worth repeating their experience: medicine is insidious because if it is taken lightly, it turns into poison.

* In case of ailments listed in the second group, increased thyroid function is possible. Often its predecessors are severe stress. If you let it go, you will suffer from Krupskaya syndrome. Remember her bulging eyes? A thyroid gland that is released from the brakes destroys the nervous, cardiovascular systems, pancreas, and the entire body. In mild cases, iodine preparations help, but in advanced cases, only surgery can save. Nodules in the thyroid area, even small ones, up to one centimeter, are sometimes cancerous. But if oncology is recognized in time, and it is detected by ultrasound, then the terrible disease can most often be defeated. Experts recommend a surgical solution in case of borderline conditions. This is exactly the situation that Oksana Glod had. But you shouldn’t draw any conclusions before visiting a doctor, and even more so you shouldn’t take medications without a prescription. A competent specialist will refer you for ultrasound and hormonal examinations.
