Aliyev learned to skate while skating on the surface of a frozen lake. Until eleven, the boy successfully combined figure skating and skiing. Gradually the loads increased. As the intensity of training increased, choices had to be made. Dima preferred skates.
Now the novice athlete looked up to Alexei Yagudin. The focus on a domestic star in his chosen sport set the highest bar, but this did not stop the boy. In training, he worked hard.
