In the Tutsi group, as in any other women's group, personnel changes were common from the very beginning: one of the soloists became a mother, someone got married or went on a “single voyage.” It is not surprising that the group ceased to exist in 2012. Yes, in 2020, the participants from the “golden lineup” united again and even began performing together, but each of them relied exclusively on the solo repertoire. How the former and current soloists of the women's group live - Irina Ortman, Lesya Yaroslavskaya, Maria Weber and Anastasia Krainova - tells AiF.ru.

Irina Ortman: biography
The star of one of the most talented and successful graduates of the “Star Factory”, Irina Ortman, still shines on the stages of domestic show business.
The future singer was born on July 22, 1978 in the city of Semipalatinsk (Kazakhstan). She lived there for the first twelve years of her life, and then moved with her family to Zarinsk (Altai Territory).
Singer Irina Ortman
The father had a tremendous influence on the formation of his daughter’s artistic personality. From childhood, Victor instilled in the little princess a love of art. This is how the girl’s future was predetermined when the head of the family first brought his beloved children to the recording studio. And if the vocalist’s sister Polina did not fall under the spell of music, then Irina became a voluntary captive of the illusory world of sounds at the age of 4 years.
Irina Ortman in her youth
Especially for the 11-year-old talent, his father wrote the song “Dad, take me with you!” Since then, Ortman has switched from folklore to the pop repertoire. The ambitious blonde's first success came at the age of fifteen. At the regional competition “Provincial Stars”, which took place in Ozerki, the aspiring singer took first place.
After graduating from school, Irina entered the Barnaul Music College. In parallel with her studies, the girl performed in a restaurant with a repertoire specially designed for her. Usually the catering public is extremely difficult to please. Paradoxically, visitors to the establishment were delighted with Ortman. Every day the young lady received a standing ovation and went home with an armful of roses.
Irina Ortman in her youth
Having impressed the residents of Altai with her voice skills, Irina set off to conquer other regions of Siberia. So, in Novokuznetsk, the famous blonde successfully performed in a competition of pop singers and was Fr.
Ortman’s first album, entitled “I Want to Be a Star,” was recorded at her father’s music studio. The author of some songs was the girl herself (the track “Somewhere There” was performed by the artist during the “Star Factory-3” tour).
After graduating from the Barnaul Music College, Irina entered the Moscow College of Arts.
Irina Ortman in her youth
After moving to Moscow (1997), she worked at the Renat Ibragimov Pop Song Theater, was a member of the White Eagle group and collaborated with the groups of Alexander Malinin and Alexander Buinov. In addition, the girl constantly passed various castings (for the musical “Dracula”, for the group “Brilliant”).
Among other things, Ortman was familiar with the guys from the Virus group. At one time they had a joint dance program.
In 2003, the charming young lady took part in the New Wave competition in Jurmala and was even able to make it to the semi-finals. And the very next year the girl got into Alexander Shulgin’s TV project “Star Factory-3”.
Music career
In Moscow, she gets a job at a pop song theater, but after a while she moves to the music group “White Eagle”, where she also does not stay long. In those years, the future star actively attended various castings and auditioned for roles in musicals. In particular, it is known that in 1999 Irina tried to audition for the group “Brilliant”.
She also had the opportunity to work in the teams of such celebrities as A. Buinova and A. Malinina. Ortman took part in the popular music competition “New Wave” and became a semi-finalist of the competition.
Participation in the Star Factory
In 2003, Irina managed to pass the casting for the television project “Star Factory - 3”, which was broadcast on Channel One and was very popular among viewers. According to the recollections of the singer Irina Ortman herself, she went to the casting thanks to the persuasion of her friend, now a popular artist, Prokhor Chaliapin .
They both went to the casting, but in the end only Ortman managed to pass it. But as you know, Prokhor Chaliapin nevertheless became a participant in the competition a few years later; he was lucky enough to qualify for the “Star Factory - 6”.
Participation in the project turned out to be very successful for Irina. She easily made it to the finals of the competition. During the final musical evening, the audience was introduced to the new female pop group “Tutsi”, which, in addition to Ortman, included Anastasia Krainova, Olesya Yaroslavskaya and Maria Weber.
"Star Factory"
Contrary to rumors, Ortman got to Star Factory 3 not through patronage, but on her own.
Sings Irina Ortman
Irina did not plan to go to the casting of the show that was gaining momentum. The singer's friend and comrade Prokhor Shalyapinza brought the inexperienced girl to the audition. The young people stood for eight hours and appeared in front of eminent judges in a “live” order. The blond beauty was taken, but the charming guy was not (later Prokhor will go to the sixth “Star Factory”).
In “Star Factory-3” Ortman reached the finals, where at the final concert the group “Tutsi” and Irina’s solo song “Changing” were presented. Subsequently, this track became the performer’s calling card.
