Svetlana Vitalievna Roerich was born on August 26, 1971 in the city of Uyar. This is a small city located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Svetlana grew up in a family of teachers. Roerich fulfilled the request of her parents, but did not abandon her dream, because the music in her constantly demanded an outlet. The girl did not waste time; while still at the university, she created her own group called “PS” and performed there as a soloist.

In 1995, Svetlana became a soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic. Roerich was surprised by the offer to record her first album at the Soyuz studio, the sound producer of which was Yaznur Garipov. Svetlana performed songs written by Arkady Yurkevich, and the composer was Nikolai Pogodaev.
In 1996, the singer’s first official studio album, entitled “I Was Waiting for You,” was ready. The main song of the album was the composition “Give Me Music,” which immediately spread across popular collections. A low-budget video was shot for it, which was broadcast on some music programs.

Less than a year later, the album “Palms” was ready and presented. Hit compositions from the albums became key in Svetlana’s concert program, including the song “Unlucky in Love.” Thanks to director Andrei Lukashechivich, who shot a video for the title track “Palms,” the whole country learned about the talented and bright singer. Afterwards, several new songs were recorded, but the teachers’ daughter decided to undergo training in order to understand what to do next. Thus, Roerich got into PR, and she liked it.

In 1998, difficult times came for Svetlana - the girl’s father became very ill, and significant sums were required for treatment. Apart from her, no one could help her father, so against the backdrop of this situation, the singer raised the issue of fees.

Because of this, a conflict arose and the termination of the agreement between the singer and the producer, who, through the bandits, demanded from her the return of non-existent debts. She never managed to help her dad - the disease took over, so in the spring of 1998 he died.
Svetlana got married at the age of 18, but her husband did not help her with anything, and at that time the woman especially needed support. Tired of having to decide everything for two, Svetlana divorced her husband after 7 years of marriage.
